The only one left...

A minute passed as Xian Hu then saw a horrifying scene, a mountain of courses all being burned. His mother was on all fours being ravaged by three men as tears ran down her face unable to struggle. His father's head was next to his mother stone-cold, dead.

Xian Hu then suddenly covered his mouth preventing himself from screaming. However, he noticed to his left, his brother.

His Brother Xian Fei moved was slowly walking towards that unbearable scene tears rolling down his face. His eyes was filled with sorrow but they were also burning with hatred!

"Oh look there's a survivor and it's a kid too!" A male voice informed getting all the many bandits to look towards the kid. Not only them though their mum which had lost the will to live noticed too as she then became overcome with guilt letting her child see such a scene.

"Just kill him." Another bandit merely commented.

"Understood." The bandit said as he drew his sword about to swing.

At that moment their mother with all her might bit down ripping one of the bandit's 'rods' off.

"Arghhh ARGHHHH!" The bandit screamed in horror as he saw his lower half flowing red as blood gushed out.

"Damn bixch!" The bandit behind their mother said as he drew his sword.

But their mother planned this as she then grabbed the sword from the bandit in front of her as she swung it killing the bandit that had attempted to kill her. She then killed a second one of the three that was ravaging her and the one she had bitten had bled out.

"Dammit our brothers!" The bandit which was about to kill Xian Fei shouted.

Xian Ming then rushed towards her child to protect him but then someone came flying from above. A large tanned man that was built like unit had landed on their mother killing her with brute force. He then said "Damn S1ut!" He then walked to the bandit that was going to kill Xian Fei.

"Ning Chao I mean w-why are you here?" The bandit asked grovelling.

The tanned man then grabbed his large axe from his back before slicing the bandits head off. The tanned man then said "Dammit you were going to kill merchandise and not only that you call me by my name!" To which he then turned to the remaining five bandits and asked "What did I say before?!"

"Boss!" They all roared together.

"Good now take the kid and lock him up I'm going to look for the other children they must be hidden somewhere." Ning Chao said as he leapt forward.

"What just happened?!" Xian Hu questioned as couldn't explain this scene before him.

A bandit then grabbed Xian Fei who had eyes that had lost their spark, eyes that no longer had the will to live. Without much resistance, they easily grabbed him and threw him into a hut.

"I need to get him!" Xian Hu thought to himself as he then began to creep through the long grass making his way to the hut Xian Fei was in.

"Should we all watch the hut and wait for the boss?" A bandit asked nervously.

"Don't worry I'll watch him you lot go help the boss look for the other kids and make sure to get the valuables from this run down village although I doubt there are any." A bandit remarked as he sat down cross-legged staring at Xian Hu.

"In that case, we're off." The other bandits said as they spread out.

Xian Hu then dropped to a prone position as one ran past him.

"Dammit, I need to change my plan!" Xian Hu said as he was originally planning to go from behind the hut and break some boards to get Xian Hu but now that a bandit was watching Xian Hu he can' do that.

"Actually this is better!" Xian Hu thought to himself as he began to feel around the grass slowly as he collected rocks.

After about 5 minutes Xian Hu found 3 sharp rocks that could definitely hurt someone. He then slowly began to creep up on the guard that was watching Xian Hu.

"FOUND THEM!" Ning Chao roared calling all the guards to him.

"SH1T!" Xian Hu let out as he noticed the guard watching Xian Hu turned around and was now staring at Xian Hu face to face.

"OI KID WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" The bat asked as a heavy pressure full of killing intent made it hard for Xian Hu to stand.

"B-brother?" Xian Fei asked weakly as he saw his brother and the guard his eyes slowly regaining life.

Noticing this Xian Hu shouted, "Brother grab the sword by mother's corpse and kill him!"

Xian Fei looked beside him to see his mother's corpse to which he then suddenly jumped up in shock remembering what happened.

"Die!" The bandit said as he then turned to Xian Fei about to kill him ignoring Xian Hu who he saw as a lesser threat compared to Xian Fei who could grab a sword.

"Just as I planned!" Xian Hu said as he then aimed with one arm before launching 2 of the rocks with all his strength.

They then hit the bandit's head causing the bandit to suddenly falter before stumbling but not falling.

"NOW DIE!" Xian Hu shouted as with the last rock he had he back bashing the bandits head in.

The sound of a rock breaking the skull and continuously being hit across the head until blood-spattered. But Xian Hu didn't stop there he continued over and over until he was broken from his stupor by his brother saying "I-it's all my fault! I caused mother's death for showing myself!"

Xian Hu dropped the rock rushing to his brother as he embraced himself as said 'it's not your fault brother, these bandits we must make them pay! But not now their leader is strong and will be back we must go to the sect and gain strength before returning."

"But what about the other children?" Xian Fei asked

"Don't worry about them we can help them later on if we go for them now we will all be caught and will never be able to get revenge!" Xian Hu replied.

"Ok let's go." Xian Fei replied as he resolved himself to get out alive.

They exited the hut to see no one was here yet and must all be gathered around the carriage.

Xian Hu then said to his brother "Follow me we are going to take the route to the market.

Xian Fei merely nodded as they then began to go through the tall grass following the road. As they saw the carriage from a distance, the only things that remained were the two horses and a single kid's corpse that was shredded as though it was done by the claws of a beast although that was not far off. The two Xian brothers considered that man, Ning Chao, a beast, a wild beast that they will hunt sooner or later.

They walked for hours but were nowhere in sight was the marketplace. Xian Hu who was gasping for air then heard a THUD!

He turned to see his brother had fallen to the floor "Dammit why now of all times." Xian Hu thought but he gritted his teeth as he then put his brother on his back and continued on.

It was now dawn and the sun was rising and in the distance, as Xian Hu reached the top of this hill, one of many he had already gone over, he saw the village.

"Finally!" He thought to himself releasing a sigh of relief. He then took a deep breath of air before continuing on with his brother still on his back.

As they arrived at the village Xian Hu was dripping with sweat, had chalky blinds and blistered hands with him dragging his own feet. He continued on as many just stared at the two with contempt thinking of them as beggers some people even threw things at them.

He climbed the Marble arena where he was then greeted by the few children that passed and the elder with the two disciples but they weren't happy they were in shock especially the elder and the two disciples.

"We made it! Brother, we made it we can have our revenge soon." Xian Hu said as in relief as he dropped to his knees crying. He then put his brother on the ground and shook his brother and said "Wake up brother."

Xian Hu then wiped his tears and looked at his brother he saw that his brother was pale almost as white as snow all life from his body had faded. "Brother..." Xian Hu said as he then reached to his brother and as he touched his brother's arms he felt a chill go down his spine.

"No...no no no no NOOOO!!!" Xian Hu roared at this revelation. His brother that he had been carrying all this time had slowly lost his life. "This can't be happening!" Xian Hu said sobbing as he held his dear, lifeless brother in his arms as he continued to cry.

5 minutes later the elder walked forward and said "It seems he died of exhausting." He then asked, "Can you tell me what happened?"

"Brother only if I checked on you earlier!" Xian Hu thought to himself at the realisation of how his brother died. "How could I be so careless!"

"Boy, how did this happen?" The elder asked once more.

"Bandits. They attacked our village, once we arrived most of the village was already gone...." Xian Hu then rambled on stopped and took deep breathes at intense parts as well as letting out a wailing cry every now and then. As he reached the end he then cursed the name "Ning Chao I swear you will pay!"

"N-Ning Chao!" The elder blurted out in shock.

The two disciples then looked at each other surprised.

"W-who is this Ning Chao?!" Xian Hu demanded seeing as the elder seemed to know who he is.

"Aye~ child it seems your village was raided by a member of the unorthodox sects and one of the fallen first-rate disciples of the Great Punishing Sect in the early foundation establishment stage." The elder reluctantly replied.

Xian Hu then merely blankly stared at his brother's corpse before he then touched where his brother's heart was and said "I vow to you brother I will carry your wishes and dreams and achieve the peak of cultivation. I will also take revenge for us and the villagers!"

"That's it now allows us to take your brother's corpse and give it a proper burial in the village we will also send disciples to the village once we go to the sect." The elder said trying to comfort Xian Hu.

"I understand." Xian Hu replied as he let go of his brother's corpse and stood up."

"Let's be off then." the elder replied as he handed the corpse of Xian Fei to the male disciple Yu Feng as he gave him orders.

An array was then activated to which everyone besides Yu Feng suddenly teleported.

This array made them all appear before a great palace which had a large sword statue behind the palace as well as being surrounded by many mountains. This scene looked like paradise to all the children.

Ai Ju then stood forward and announced "This is the immortal sword sect. This is where you will train and live from now on.

The elder then added "You will start as outer disciples and will have a test in a year to become inner sect disciples although you do not have to join since it normally takes 2 years before an outer sect disciple can become an inner disciple. I will now lead you to your dorm where the chief out disciples Hai Lin will give you a tour and explain some rules."

"So this is the immortal sword sect." Xian Hu thought amazed at the scene and flying cultivators making his resolve even stronger.

At this moment he reflected on everything that has happened until now. His eyes full of sadness and rage made him unknowingly say "It seems....I am the only one left....."
