The True Vampire Bride

Kaida Endo has always felt different to not only herself, but others as well. Ever since the True night prowlers decided to show themselves, humankind has become little more than nothing but an asset, and an indispensable one. Most humans have long since been rounded up and basically caged behind enormous walls and treated as breading stock by most vampire lords. There are very few humans remaining in isolated pockets that have not been found, Kaida Endo exists within one of these few isolated pockets with her fam-ily. There are not many pockets of untouched humans left that have not been found, free from the vampires. Most of the pure bloods had long since lost most of themselves, due to the loss of the queen’s direction, turning more and more humans into lower end vam-pires. With the death of the previous queen, the majority of True Vampires have long since forgotten that they cannot rule the world, or they will face extinction when blood runs out. Trying to live off animal blood alone proved fatal for many, leading to fits of blood lust that were unstoppable in many cases. Now with the situation getting a little worse, the true bloodlines are now in a fight to find the one who is to be destined to be-come queen of them all. She does not realize that her family’s blood is truly special, she is part of a bloodline that has been dormant on the vampire abilities for generations upon generations. Essentially making the bloodline mortal until bit by a pure blood. Only with her presence will the over population of mindless Lesser vamps be put to an end. Her blood and hidden abilities will ensure all survive. With one bite from a true bloodline member, they will awaken. Will she be able to withstand her own fated, yet unwanted destiny? Can she bring them all together, or will they fight for a control that is not theirs to have?

The True Vampire Bride Ch 5 Part 4

Botan Date: "I believe so. Do any of you three sense anything left other than us?"

With one final look around, all five of them carefully searched for any signs. When nothing was found, they heaved a sigh of relief. Getting the garrison back in order, Dai tended to the troop regroup while the others double checked the humans that were escorted out. With looks of appreciation and thanks, many bowed in thanks as they kneeled before the vampire lords. Once all preparations were made, they slowly made their way back, stopping in the city of Oshu to take the people to the healer's clinic. For now, what little solace that could be taken from this turn of events was that at least most of the farmers had been rescued. Out of the seventy-five that were taken, there was only a loss of five. Which was far better than any of them expected. Many rounds of thanks fell upon the vampire lords as Kaida slept soundly in the carriage. The whole while they were trying to tell the people that most of the hard work was done by Kaida herself. The queen had saved them for the most part. They just did the clean-up, but with their excitement of having loved ones returned, the lords feared they were not going to listen just yet on who actually did what. Which was fine. As Botan peered inside the carriage from the side, one of the city people caught a glimpse of Kaida sleeping. Curious, he asked Botan what was going on.

Townsfolk: "Who is in the carriage my lord? You seem intent on staring."

Botan Date: "I introduced you to her the last time she visited the clinic. She is our queen. Her name is Kaida Endo. She has just impressed all of us by using her power to save your people. She is sleeping because of the amount of energy she burned through to do so."

Townsfolk: "The queen personally went to deal with it? What on earth for?"

Hearing the conversation, Tsubasa walked around to the side the two were standing on as he decided to help answer the many questions that were starting to form.

Tsubasa Endo: "Because me and my sister spent the first part of our lives as humans. She was very pissed off when she found out about the rogue vampire lords stealing the farmers. She wanted to personally put them down herself, and she did."

Botan Date: "That is right. Her power was magnificent. She is truly going to be a great queen. Especially because she can understand the humans more as well. But she will definitely need some blood after using so much power. I am in hopes that there has been some donations made."

Townsfolk: "In that case, I will head to the clinic now and freely donate to you and the others. One of the returned was a relative of mine. If she personally killed all the rogue vampire lords herself, it is the least I can do. I will let my family know as well."

Tsubasa Endo: "That is very thoughtful of you. Thank you for that."

Once the word had spread about what the queen had personally done, all the members of the families that were taken all headed to the clinic to donate blood to the vampire lords and the queen. By the time they all piled back into the carriage to head toward home, they had two chests full of donated blood on ice. Shouting out many thanks to the lords, they met their cheers with a warm smile and waves. Heading back out of the town, they had some of their troops double check some of the areas around the city walls. Pulling into their home at around six in the evening. Tsubasa carefully carried Kaida into her room and placed her on the bed. Picking up a comforter from the floor, he placed it over his sleeping sister as she turned on her side. Leaving the room, he grabbed up some clean clothes and headed for the baths. He hoped a good soak would relax him some after all that had happened. While he was doing that, Botan had the two trunks brought in that contained the blood and had them placed in the storage ben in the kitchen. Taking out a small donation amount for Kaida, he walked it to her room placing it in the small bucket that held the old bottle. Rechilling the bucket, he sat it back on her dresser. Walking over to her, he kissed her forehead, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. Quietly leaving the room, he headed for the main hall where the other lords were already sitting. Clearly discussing what had happened during the cave sweep.

Kano Nishio: "I cannot believe how well she mastered the use of the weather. I had never seen anything like it. It almost paled in comparison to my own skills, that she absorbed from me."

Haruko Ikeda: "I am only glad that there was no need to use my time ability. Made things so much simpler."

Dai Haku: "She used that bio power in conjunction with the flame technique, I could hardly believe how smooth the transfer of power was in her. A seemingly smooth transition that I could not accomplish."

Botan Date: "I did not think it would go so smoothly; she is without a doubt the most powerful queen we have had in all the time I have been alive. She absorbed four power types and did not even flinch on the use of them. It was utterly amazing."

Tsubasa Endo: "I am still amazed at how she was able to draw out the entire area of that cave system flawlessly. The clairvoyance is mine and she made me look like nothing at all when she wielded it."

After around three hours or so of discussing what happened in the caves and witnessing Kaida's abilities, everyone decided to head to bed for the evening. Botan sat in his evening chair once again as he swirled the contents of the wine glass, as was his habit. He sat in marvel at the events he witnessed personally from Kaida earlier that day. All he kept thinking, "we really need more females. There is no possible way for us to share without issues". Especially after what he had gotten to witness with his own eyes.

Tsubasa headed for his room as usual and prepped himself for bed, doing some light reading before finally closing his eyes for the day with a book in his hand. Within a few hours, Tsubasa was once again in a trance like state as he sleepwalked into his sister's room once again. The only sounds were coming from Kaida as she softly moaned in her sleep, as though repeating the events of the earlier day. Still sleepwalking, he neared Kaida, reaching down he picked up a section of her hair as usual and began to smell it. Softly speaking to himself once again, "I may not have seen well, but I could feel your power as you went through the rogue vampire lords. It was magnificent. I will make you mine". Giving her a kiss upon the forehead, he dropped her lock of hair and left the room to lie down in his own bed once more.

Kaida, never once stirred. For two days straight, she slept as she had done upon her awakening. Using so much power back to back, had put her into a comatose state. Apparently, the only thing she can do is sleep it off. Getting seemingly worried, Tsubasa decided she had to get her better faster. He hoped that feeding her some blood himself, would help bring her out of it sooner. Taking a big gulp of the donated blood, he lifted her up, pressing his lips to hers, he opened her mouth slightly as he drizzled the blood down her throat. It was not much, but it was better than nothing. He continued doing this until the cup he filled was empty. Botan had come in seemingly worried himself as he wondered what Tsubasa had been doing.

Botan Date: "I have been worried about you. You have not left your sister's room at all."

Tsubasa Endo: "I have been tending to my sister. She has not woke as of yet and I have been making sure she is drinking some blood. I thought it might help get her past this comatose state quicker."

Botan Date: "Well at least you have been feeding her. She burned through a lot of energy after all. She may sleep for another day or two. We will just have to keep tabs on her. Though I must say, it was impressive how she was able to wield so many powers. That is why she is sleeping so much. It was her first massive use of power."

Tsubasa Endo: "I know. I just want to make sure she is fed for the most part. It is just like when she got sick and I had to feed her water. I am just using the same concept with the blood to keep her fed. I will stay with her till she wakes up."

Botan Date: "I understand. Just keep in mind, it could be today or two days from now when she wakes up. I will bring another bottle of donated blood here later on. I see this one is running low."

Tsubasa Endo: "Thank you very much. I appreciate it."

Smiling softly, he leaned back against the wall as he sat on the edge of the bed. Botan walked over and took the near empty bottle out of the room with him and closed the door back up. Easing his way onto her bed, he lifted Kaida up enough to lay her head on his lap as he stroked her hair. He just sat there as worried as when her awakening was taking place. He could not help but wonder just how long she would sleep for now. The one thing that none of them even realized was the fact that she had basically opened her magic up even further than she had expected. Thanks to the stones power being near her, and her body's natural defense to sleep after using such power, it was keeping it in check, for she had pushed herself too far when she incorporated so many powers at once. Now her body must recuperate. Her blood was speaking to her of all the wisdoms passed down to all queens through the stones power. It was as if a detailed record was being given to her as she slept and was unconsciously absorbing the knowledge. Even in her dreams, all she thought was, "I must put all this information in the library for future generations." All Tsubasa wished to do as she slept was make her his, he knew his blood was screaming at him. It was getting increasingly harder on him with his sister in an immobilized state. But for now, he did his best to suppress himself while she recovered.
