Money & Training

However, he felt a bit nervous.

The moment his hands pushed the door opened, he was met with a crowd of worried parents and siblings.

He could've sworn he saw his father crying, not because his sister was ill but because of himself.

He felt a surge of emotions course through his heart, he felt a sense of guilt as well as he looked at his parent and sibling, though he knew they loved him but seeing them like this for his sake, made him finally appreciate them like another part of him.

'Is this what having a loving family feels like?'

The night slowly went by with hugs and tears, except Tim who almost cursed out loud from his feelings of hate.

At first, Tobi thought of giving his parents the money he had earned that night but decided against it until the next day.

The next morning of the Kalamas household suddenly resounded with much more vibe and joy than usual. Him suddenly bringing money home had raised questioning, but with his big sisters vouchering for him, every possible explanation was available for every question.

With the help of one gold coin, Christopher and christy became the happiest couple in the village, to the point Christopher had decided to take the next several days off.

Though Tobi barely knew a gold coin would solve some family expenses, he didn't know how much of the stress, it could relieve his parents.

Seeing his parents and siblings joyful expressions and dancing like they had just won a lottery, most especially Tim who had his mouth agape as he stared at him like some idiot.

Tobi suddenly felt he might have overdone it, for the second time after coming into this world he truly felt his family might have been living a pretty average life.

And he knew what was the cause of it.

That was probably why he didn't regret one bit of it, instead, he felt happy seeing them like these rather than always being gloomy.

If he was given a chance he promised himself to redo it over again.

With the gold coin, Tobi was sure his family would forget about being hungry, for at least a while until he earn more money.

Everything went well, but most importantly Tobi could finally start imitating whatever body art routine he could remember. His routine was very simple, he would sell stalks of veggies, practice his meditation technique and his imitations of fist techniques at night.

Thanks to the Demon meditation technique, Tobi in both body and mind didn't need much sleep to feel energized and could even wake up with just the slightest touch.

He would sneak out of the house after using his senses to confirm that everyone was asleep.

Once outside, he would use trees in the woods as training golems, using it with his rough imitations of kicks and punches to temper his rudimentary skills. His first priority was trying to see how to perfect a combination of both martial footwork and Dash together.

Maybe it was because he was only four years old, or maybe because of the system. His body seemed more robust than he thought it would be.

Whenever someone threw something his ears could pick up the slight vibration of its slight motion, this made him realize with perception there was a chance he could Dodge whatever was thrown at him in a timely manner.

But the problem was what would he do with when perception was at work, he wouldn't always be dodging every time most especially in a short space of time?

Tobi knew that even though his reaction was very quick, it was not as instantly as a speedster on earth movie and couldn't always activate Dash for every movement even with perception. He could not afford to think too much, especially when his opponent was on the move that would make him a sitting duck especially in melee fights.

Having perception made his reaction quick, but not omnipotent. What good was a quick reaction, if he couldn't make use of it properly?

Even he wasn't very confident he could fight continually with perception, most importantly since he couldn't increase perception to an all-sensing Omni level.

If he were to assume he was immortal like Deadpool, he was sure his opponent would surely take advantage of this. One thing he hadn't tested out was his regenerative power, he knew too well that once he was seen instantly healing himself from a wound it was bound to spell trouble.

To him, brute strength was just making violence, whereas intellect was just ideas with no solid practice. Only when perception and body were trained together, the body and perception could work in perfect synergy.

About a week after Tobi had begun his training.

Tobi stood in front of a huge tree size golem, shaped like a mannequin with long extending branches. Its bark was as thick as one could imagine, it was also strong enough to withstand more than a couple of hits with showing external damages.

The features of the earth tree were dark brown.

Tobi took in a deep breath, as he took a few steps backward, slowly he exacted strength from his muscles that was now slightly bulging out.

With his bare upper body fully opened, his muscles could be seen properly, with a body as ripped as one could imagine from years of training.

Tobi arched both his right hand and leg, a bit downward.

His posture was like that of martial fighters back on earth, his back was curved with an intense muscle structure protruding firmly.

His buttocks shot outwardly, and wide spread legs dug into the soft ground of the forest steadily.

After exhaling a mouthful of breaths, he slowly clenched his right fist as his arm muscle tightened.

His fist suddenly made contact with the huge tree, making it shudder fiercely yet without breaking off.

However, Tobi kept on hitting the huge tree, while some parts fell off, the others his fist mark sunk deeper into the body of the tree.

Even as he did all these, he didn't forget to count how many punches he could make before tiring himself out, making sure to keep a steady record of his punches.

His counting came to a stop, he was so used to being alone in the woods with his fist and legs causing intense circles of continuous vibrations, that he would always forget he was outside his home.

After a few kicks, Tobi came to a sudden halt as he stood straight and stared at the left side of the forest intently.
