Though the night was meant for sleeping, it was actually the opposite for both Christy, Christopher, and the girls. Even though both Christy and Christopher, had wanted the girls to go to bed early, the girls were so worried that they had seemingly refused as they continuously insisted to see their little brother before bed.

The same could also be said for both Christy and Christopher, the thought of sleeping had become an unspoken sin, with what they had gone through recently, everyone forego the will to sleep or even the appetite to eat properly.

Within the period of two hours, everyone realized they might as well check on Tobi, to examine how he was faring, with this thought in mind everyone slowly gathered around the doorpost.

After exhaling a heave of sigh, they all walked with a smile. As they walked in, on closer inspection of Tobi, they realized he seemed to be already awake.

However, everyone felt unease while their heart pace in a fast manner than usual, as they stared at Tobi, seemingly dumbfounded. The astonishing sight, made them barely know, what to do.

They also noticed he was also staring at them in confusion, in their image of him. They realized their son Tobi, looked more different than usual.

Meanwhile, Tobi noticed their unusual attitude and gaze intently at them. Afraid of being somewhat responsible for their unusual attitude, with the feeling of a little guilt, Tobi did his best by doing various baby impressions, he giggled, screeched, and as well emitted raspberry sounds.

However, while he was doing all this he slowly realized something else about his vision or rather his sight, for some reason, the peripheral of his sight was increasing in size, almost as if it had double.

'What's going on? Why does it seem like I have an extra sense of sight?'

For someone who had just experienced an evolution, and was itching to test out his abilities he was supposed to be excited, but instead, he felt weird.

The way they were staring at him, was already sus but it doesn't seem to be out of happiness of seeing him perfectly fine, but rather it could be described as being bewildered at something unusual.

Christy whose eyes were already brimming with tears, slowly walked forward step by step, afraid of scaring him before carrying Tobi in her embrace gently as best as she could, before she muttered tenderly, "Sorry for being a bad mother my child."

The corner of her eyes, had tears dripping on her clothes, for some reason her child, who had suddenly fallen ill had also strangely grown extra pair of eyes, no matter how much she thought about it, everyone including her found it weird, and a bit too unrealistic compared to their expectations.

After those words, the room turned quite gloomy. Everyone tried to do their best impression, to make him feel relieved after all they had almost frightened him.

What kind of family, tries to make their son feel he was some kind of hideous monster just because he had four pitch-black eyes? They felt guilt brimming within their hearts.

Even though he was referred to as a demon born, they didn't care less before why should they now, all they saw was a perfectly healthy child of theirs, no matter what his appearance might be.

Christy caressed Tobi's extra pair of eyes gently while smiling warmly before saying.

While she said these words, she used this chance to softly sang her favorite melody to her child.

While Tobi listened, he couldn't help marvel at her melodic voice and the way she sang the song softly.

He stared outside, from within his mother's embrace as he looked around him, it was a small but well-structured room. While the ceiling was made with woods, the walls were made of thick bricks.

However, in his view outside Christy's embrace, he could also see how everyone all had a palpable love and affectionate emotion toward him.

His mother paused after singing for a while and turned to look at everyone as she sighed.

After standing in the same position for a while, Christy and Christopher decided it was finally time for everyone to sleep. The same day had been too worrisome, that everyone needed to dive to bed while relieving themselves of stress.

At this point, no one objected neither did they want to remember anything relating to the past events of the day.
