Chapter -11 Black market [6]

Aside from his strange black eyes and unusual nails the person could be mistaken for any average human.

blood flowed to his eyes and his eyes too started to look normal. Pale white skin, jet black hairs, blood red eyes, and long nails.

"Ku ku ku ku, what do we have here," he asked in a playful voice.

My eyes widened as I looked at him. The aura he was emitting before was of a star -4 but suddenly it increased to star -5.

My heart beat was increasing with each passing second and my hands started to tremble.

My legs were frozen in their place as the creepy man was aura suddenly turned to star -6.

'It's no time to be scared.'

"Heart of ice" Suddenly a cold chill ran through my whole body freezing my body for a second.

Fear, hopelessness, and many more emotions disappeared without any trace.

An indifferent look appeared on my face. A face that is devoid of any emotion, completely emotionless.

This sudden change of demeanor shocked the creepy man. He started to look at me with even more curiosity.

"Who are you?" Finally, he spoke something. His voice was even more spine-chilling but it didn't affect me and I stayed in my emotionless state due to my skill [Heart of ice].

"Oh, so rude of me. I didn't even introduce myself before asking you. My name is

Chronos moonlight. This honorable one asks you to introduce yourself."

'The moonlight family.' Now I was sure that I couldn't stay here any longer. The moonlight family was one of the thirteen vampire families which went extinct after the great war 2. They were the strongest vampire family, even stronger than the royal blood, but still, they mysteriously disappeared overnight without leaving a trace.

If he was a vampire then I have to escape from here as soon as possible.

I dashed towards the coffin at my max speed and spotted the black crystal. Mana accumulated on the tip of my sword but it looks like mana accumulated on the tip of the scabbard as my sword was still in its scabbard.

My left hand stretched out trying to touch the crystal while my right hand was on the hilt of the sword transferring mana to the sword.

"Don't you think it's rude to leave without introducing yourself? Sigh humans will be humans." Suddenly I heard a voice behind me and quickly unsheathed the sword.

The weak spot of a vampire was its neck so it was obvious that I would aim at its neck for some reason, Cronos didn't try to block the strike but in the next movement, I knew why he didn't try to block.

-Crack

The sound of metal breaking echoed in the whole castle. Looking at the broken sword I didn't react in any way, I just wanted to accomplish my goal. To escape from this castle.

I quickly grabbed a palm size crystal from my pocket and threw it towards Cronos.

-Boom

Taking advantage of the situation I stretched my hand once again trying to touch the crystal and this time I successfully did.

I quickly transferred my mana to it and soon my body turned into many light particles ad I was teleported from there.

"Huff...huff. That was a close case." I quickly deactivated my skill and felt all the emotions returning to me.

Looking at the broken sword I felt as if someone had stabbed my heart more than a million times.

"Shouldn't you introduce yourself? You're extremely rude. Young man." But suddenly I heard a bone-chilling voice behind me.

Spurt!

Appearing behind one of the guards patrolling the area, Bryan swiftly and silently slit his throat.

His golden eyes were shinning and his purple hairs were covered in blood.

Dragging the guard's corpse behind a bush, he came back out wearing a black uniform and a hat. On his right peck, a white nametag rested on the uniform.

Turning right, Bryan passed by another guard that was patrolling not so far away from where he was.

Nodding his head to greet Bryan, the guard moved past him.

-Spurt!

Swiftly appearing behind the guard and silently slitting his throat, he dragged his body away.

Coming back out, Bryan replaced his previous name tag with one of the guards he had just killed.

The reason for his action was that certain guards were only allowed to patrol certain areas. If they found out that the guard that was supposed to be patrolling the outside perimeter was outside their designated area, they would no doubt become suspicious.

"Hey!"

Hearing someone shouting in his direction, halting his steps, Bryan kept looking at the front.

"Darwis, what are you doing here?"

Jogging to where Bryan was, one of the guards looked at him suspiciously.

"You shouldn't be he-.'

Just as the guard was about to finish speaking, Bryan subtly looked at his nametag and swiftly stabbed his heart.

Knowing that his cover would be blown anyway Bryan dashed towards the place where his target was staying.

"Hey!"

"Hey!"

As he was running, he met a couple of guards that tried to block his way. However, it was all futile.

Stepping on the side of the wall, Bryan stabbed his dagger in their direction.

Noticing his action, the two guards immediately tried to blockBryan'sa attack…

…but suddenly out of nowhere, the dagger that they assumed was coming from the front suddenly appeared on the side, completely catching them off guard.

-Spurt!

-Thud!

Killing one of the guards, using the momentum he had from having propelled himself off the wall, Bryan somersaulted in the air and slashedtowards the other guard.

Flustered, the guard tried to block his attack, but similarly to the first guard, just as the sword was about an inch away from him, it suddenly appeared in a completely different direction, completely catching him off guard.

-Spurt!

-Thud!

Without looking back, Bryan continued running and killing guards left and right as he bulldozed his way towards where his target was.

"Hey, stop there!" Suddenly he heard the voice of a person on his right side. He felt a pressure created by the aura of a star -3.

In front of him was a male covered in complete black.

The man's sword was speeding towards Bryan's neck and sliced through it but the next movement...

-Spurt

A dagger had pierced right through his heart. Behind him was Bryan whose golden eyes were shining purple in colour.

"This skill is always useful," Bryan said as he removed his dagger.

"Time to finish my mission." He said as he pressed a button due to which two drowns speeded towards the room in front of him and...

-Boom

A paper suddenly materialized out of thin air in his hand as the room blasted. He quickly signed it and put the stamp of [League of assassin].

"Finally, some rest."
