Lin Yang set his phone aside temporarily and adjusted the float, using the same nine-meter monster rod that caught the Carp King last time, with a number four main line, a number three leader line, and a number ten Ishiyane hook. He used a float weighing over three grams, set it for even water, and aimed for a depth of three markers.
After finding the right depth, he baited the hook with packaged corn and hung a Losing Hand Rope on the rod handle, so there was no need to tend to it once it was positioned.
Lin Yang, "I've heard from friends that the Crucian Carps here are exceptionally big. Today we're going to test and see if that's true. I'm using two rods at the same time, the long rod at nine meters with corn as bait for big catches."
"The short rod is three meters and six, with a 1.0 main line, 0.6 leader line, and a number five Ishiyane hook, targeting Big Plate Crucian Carp."
