Your Majesty (Part Three)

Isaac stared at the man standing next to the King and he already knew that he disliked him. The way he kept looking at Skye like she was some prize or possession was really starting to piss him off. Isaac wasn't going to take his eyes off the strangle mortal, he didn't trust him or his mischievously blue eyes. Isaac stepped closer to Skye ever so slightly. Skye finally broke eye contact with the stranger to glance at Isaac with a knowing nod.

Isaac had known Skye for so many years that they are able to speak without words. Isaac knew that from that nod Skye was agreeing that she didn't trust the outsider.

"Skye come meet Prince William of the Druids," the King said with a kind smile. "Prince William, I am very proud to introduce to my beloved daughter Princess Skye of the Elven Kingdom," he said placing a hand on the small of Skye's back to slightly pushing her to shake the hand of the Emissary.

After the two shook hands the King then moved his attention to Isaac, "And now I would like to introduce you to Isaac Myrill our most gifted healer and scholar, as well as Skye's oldest friend and protector." the King said beaming with pride as if Isaac were his own son.

Skye let out a slight snort and a laugh as the two men shook hands. "Come, father, we both know that Isaac would make a horrid protector. The woman are always surrounding him, tyring to grab his attention, also he is a horrible shot.

Isaac blushed slightly and then proceeded to playfully hit Skye in the back of the head ever so lightly."We both know that without me you would be roaming the Sapphire Kingdom half-starved, and bleeding out because everyone knows that you are the worst healer in the Kingdom." Isaac said with a laugh as Skye rubbed the back of her head.

"Ahem" the King cleared his throat roughly. "We are still in the presence of company, now both of you apologize for your rude behavior." King Riordan demanded.

"Yes, your majesty," the pair said in a deflated tone. "We are very sorry for our actions," Isaac said.

After a long pause and an elbow to Skye's ribs form Isaac Skye finally grumbled out a "Sorry". All while shotting the visitor another one of her signature death glares, which received an approving smile from the young elf beside her.
