The Strongest Original
Elijah Mikaelson POV:
The date was 2010 and a man and a girl were in a room of a giant mansion. This man was Elijah and the girl he was talking to was Elena Gilbert.
" There's a whole family of originals?" Elena asked. To which Elijah responded, " My father was a wealthy landowner in a village in Eastern Europe. Our mother bore seven children". " So your parents were human?" Elena asked.
Elijah continued " Our whole family was, our origin as vampires is a very long story Elena just know we're the oldest vampires in the world. We are the original family and from us, all vampires were created". " But Klaus is your brother and you want him dead?".
Elijah then said he needs some air because he was still feeling a bit dead. As they went outside Elijah continued " So as you've seen nothing can kill an original, not sun, not fire, not even a werewolf bite, only the wood from one tree, a tree my family made sure burned". Elena asked, " That's where the white ash from the dagger comes from?".
Elijah answered "yes" and continued explaining the story from the Aztec painting Klaus painted. Elena then had to leave because her aunt Jenna found out that vampires were real but then later returned at night. Elijah greeted Elena " Welcome back". To which she answered, " Tell me, what is Klauss's curse".
Elijah then gestured for her to sit down before explaining the story about how Klaus is from a different bloodline, a hybrid. Elijah then continued " A hybrid will be deadlier than any werewolf or vampire, nature would not stand for such an imbalance of power.
Therefore the witches, servants of nature saw to it that my brother's werewolf side would become dormant. Elena then asked, " That's the curse Klaus wants to break". To which Elijah replied, " He wants to trigger that part of him that's a werewolf".
He continued explaining how Klaus could sire his own bloodline and create his own race endangering everyone. Elena asked him why he helped and Elijah simply said because he loves him but that's changed now. Elena then replied, " We have the dagger now we can stop him". Elijah then answered, " When a werewolf is wounded by silver it heals so you see why that doesn't work".
Elena got a bit flustered by this but Elijah continued " The only way to kill Klaus would be by nature, or... my brother". When he said that he looked down at his necklace and held it tightly in his hands to which Elena asked " Your brother?". Elijah then replied, " Yes... the strongest of the original family, and I can guarantee you that absolutely nothing can kill him, not white oak, not a million witches, not even nature itself".
Shocked by this Elena couldn't help but ask " Is he that strong... then why don't you bring him here and let him deal with Klaus". Elijah replied, " Nobody knows where he is, but there is a way to call him but that's just for an emergency". He looked at his necklace which had a beautiful ruby as the center with a snake circling it.
Elena asked, " Is it that necklace?... did he give it to you?". To which he responded, " He gave it to all of us, that's why it was futile to keep the dagger in me, or even kill me, but even if you do manage to kill me, I would be able to come back. Elena was confused by this and asked, " What are you saying?... there's a way to bring you back?" Elijah just smiled and answered "yes" before saying " I told you, he's the most powerful original". Elena was once again shocked by this mention of Elijah's brother. But he continued " I just have to convince him why he can't bring back Klaus.
