Fynn and the gang arrived (1) [Bonus chapter]

Author's note: this is from Serina's point of view

After lunch, I wanted to speak to Zoe, Luca, and Ash. For this, we met in the study. Of course, Duke had no intention of leaving my side, so he was there as well.

"How are you feeling about Fynn and his people coming here?" I asked.

I didn't ask them when only Fynn came because I knew they were getting fairly well with Fynn. This time, more of them were coming, and I wanted to ensure we were all on the same page.

Zoe responded, "If they decide to stay, it will be livelier, and we will have fewer worries about security."

Luca and Ash stayed silent. From the first day we met, Zoe was talking for all three. That didn't change.

I was touched that Zoe spoke as a grownup. She never threw tantrums or acted selfishly. I guess she didn't want me to worry. However, if we were going to make this work, we had to be open.
