Caught running away

Author's note: this is from Sergio's point of view

It took a few minutes for the excited crowd to give me space. They were laughing and cheering, obviously charged up after the ceremony.

One by one, everyone turned to look at the young master. Should I call him Mateo now? Or the Alpha?

I was aware that Mateo was reluctant to shift into his wolf again, but to my surprise, after giving a Hollywood-worthy kiss to Serina, he actually shifted into a black wolf.

The crowd cheered again, and now it was my turn to remember the good old days.

Mateo's wolf resembled Damiano's so much that I had to remind myself that my Alpha was gone, and I was looking at his son.

Three wolves were right next to Mateo. Zoe's golden wolf, Luca's dark brown one, and Ash's light brown one.

I didn't realize when everyone else shifted, and I jolted when Mateo howled at the moon like he was telling the Moon Goddess to pay attention because he was here.
