The Bullies Own Medicine

The time limit for the daily quest this time is two days. Not like the daily quest before that stopped when sunset come. So, Rainn has two days to practice one of his skills. It means that practicing skills is really difficult.

Sunset almost come. Rainn had tried to make a fire for thirty times now. But he got nothing but a tiny spark in his hand.

Moreover, his head feels so hurt like it was going to explode. So Rainn takes a break. Leaning against a big old tree.

"Give me something, Tut. This is too hard," Rainn mumbled.

'I can't help you with this. You on your own. You supposed to make some fire right now, though.' Tur said.

"Then why I can only make a spark?"

'Maybe you don't have talent?'

Rainn started to feel annoyed. He's sick of that word already.

"I know that, Tut. But I can't just give up knowing that I don't have talent."

'Okay, that's good.'

Rainn gets back up right after. His anger filled him. More than pain in his head.

So Rainn stretches his hand forward again. Concentrating on making a fire by imagining how it feels on his hand.

'Not talented? Don't fuck with me! All of my life I know that fact. So what if I'm not talented? I don't deserve a happy life?!'

On top of Rainn's hand, the sparks appeared. Like fireworks that are lit in the summer night festival.

The anger inside Rainn's heart flowed towards his stretched hand. After that, a small fire appeared.

Rainn's eyes widened looking at the small fire in the palm of his hand.

"I did it!" Rainn exclaimed.

'Yeah. Looks like your anger can be a good source of energy.' Tut responding.

Is it because of his anger he can make this fire? Well, if that's true he doesn't need to worry. Because anger is what he felt every day.

'Magic is basically energy manipulation. So, if you have the energy and know how to manipulate it. You can master magic power.' Tut explained.

Rainn let out a laugh while still looking at the fire on his hand.

'You manage to create fire on your thirty-one tried. But the quest says one hundred.' Tut reminding Rainn.

"Yeah, of course, I know. I'm not pleased just because of a small fire." Rainn replied.

So Rainn practicing again. Not long after, he manages to create fire in his two hands. And then make it bigger. After that, Rainn learn to throw the fire like a bolt or small fireball when he reached one hundred tries.

[ Reward: 40 Exp (Fast completion) ]

Rainn smiled. He completed his quest in one day instead of two days. That's why he got more Exp.

He is so excited to learn his new power until the sky finally becomes dark. His fire lit some part of the park.

But suddenly, Rainn feels his body getting weaker.

"What happens?" Rainn asked, worried. He falls to his knee.

'Your MP is very low. It should reach 0 a long time ago. But you already raise it to level 3 so the MP consumption is reduced,' answered Tut.

Rain immediately looks at his MP stats.

[ MP: 1/10 ]

It is really low.

"What happens when it reaches zero?"

'You probably pass out.'

"Then, how can I make my MP larger?"

'Training.' Tut answered simply. 'After this practice, your MP will increase.'

"But when I practice my MP will run low. So I cant practice as often as I want!"

'Actually, there's another way to increase your MP without consuming it.'

"How?"

'Meditation.'

"What is that?"

Tut then explains what meditation is. Rainn understands it immediately because Tut's explanation is very clear and short.

Rainn then headed home. After a short bath, he begins to meditate with Tut's guidance.

Rainn didn't realize it was already morning. When he opened his eyes, the morning sun hits his face. He is too immersed in his meditation.

"Shit, I'm late."

The sudden realization makes Rainn run to the bathroom and take a very quick bath. Grab his uniform and bag, then leave.

Rainn arrives at school when the gates are almost closed. Fortunately, he manages to slide through.

But Rainn wondered because he wasn't as tired as usual. He had been late and run to school before but his breathing was much heavier than this.

Is this because of his new power? Even though his stats are still basic, is it still stronger than his old body?

while Rainn was thinking and admiring his new body condition, a hand wrapped around his neck.

"You won't be as lucky as before this time."

It's Arden's voice. He grabbed Rainn then drag him to the abandoned school building.

There--of course--five of his friends are already waiting.

Rainn tried to hid his smile. When he wanted to try his new power, this bunch of punks appeared in front of him.

Then, a quest suddenly appears.

[ Urgent quest: Defeat six foes in front of you ]

[ Reward: 10 Exp / person ]

So he can get 60 Exp points when defeating all of them? Adding the point he got last night, he can level up right now!

While Arden and his horde are laughing and mocking him, Rainn opened his inventory and takes the Lesser Mana Ring. Then he wears it.

[ Lesser Mana Ring effect activated! +20 MP ]

"Hey, Arden, this boy really makes me annoyed as fuck!" One of them with blonde hair who sees Rainn's smile walks to Rainn and raises his hand.

[ Skill activated: Ultimate Instinct (LV.2) ]

Rainn dodges that punch easily. He already learn how to use that skill last night after meditation replenish his MP.

The skill makes Rainn can see his opponent's movement in slow-motion. Not just that, he can also figure out his opponent's most weak point.

The blonde boy bared his teeth. And strike Rainn again. But none of his attacks landed on Rainn.

The Rainn throws a punch to his chin. Just with one blow, the blonde boy collapsed to the floor.

Rainn laughs hysterically. He looked at Arden and the rest of the bully. He gives them an evil smirk.

"Who's turn now?" Rainn asked with a light voice.
