After some argument, the blonde man finally managed to get Rainn out of the restaurant. They were now in the same car and driving to the address Rainn had given. Wich is his basement apartment.

"So you know Mr. Brynelle?" Rainn asked. That was the reason Rainn wanted to follow him.

"Yes, we are friends," the man replied. "My name is Avois, by the way."

Rainn's brow furrowed. "I think I've heard that name before."

"Really?" Avois snorted.

"Yes, but I don't remember where. Or when."

"How did you know I was there?" Rainn asked.

"I was actually on a date with someone. But when I arrived, there were two Investigator cars outside. I knew right away that something was going on inside."

Rainn thought that it was a very good coincidence.

"Well, it doesn't matter. What's important now is finding a new place to live for you. They will not stop."

"Seems like you're right." Rainn agrees. "Do you know a good place?"

"I have a great place," Avois said.

"You have?" Rainn glanced at Avois.

The man nodded. "I happen to own property in a few places."

"Alright, so you're a rich man," said Rainn without hiding his admiration.

"Haha," Avois chuckled. "I just inherited it from my parents."

Rainn had already guessed that. But he tried not to say anything sarcastic to the person who had saved him.

"You know who just came to meet you?" Ask Avois.

"Of course, I know. They're Investigators, right?"

"Yes," said Avois. "But do you know who the man with the long hair was with the other two Investigators?"

"If I recall correctly, his name is Sefyr."

"Right. And he's the Vice-Captain of the Investigator division."

Rainn immediately cast a glance at Avois with wide eyes. "WHAT?!"

Avois nodded, "Yep. You're quite famous, you see."

"Shit," the curse came out of Rainn's mouth accidentally. "Why would a high-ranking Investigator officer come to see me?"

Avois sighed as he continued to watch the road. When the car stopped at a red light shortly after, Avois just answered. "I'm not telling you the answer, at least for now."

"Why is that?"

"You can't trust me, can you?"

"No." Said Rainn, almost instantly.

Avois nodded once. "That's what I thought. I still can't believe you either. I can only suggest that you start laying low."

"Yeah, I think you're right. I have to move into a new place soon."

"Ah, you don't have to worry about that. Tomorrow we can start." Avois said. "I'll send people to help you move. About the rent, we can talk about it later."

"Thank you."

The car started again after the green light came on. It was raining even more heavily, even now with a storm. Rainn immediately ran towards the descending stairs after thanking Avois. He entered his basement apartment with a drenched body.

Rainn immediately took a shower, changed clothes, and then lay down on his mat.

Tonight was truly an unexpected night. Rainn felt that his life had completely changed a hundred and eighty degrees since Systema's arrival. He not only became stronger but also got into more and more trouble.

Accompanied by the sound of the rain becoming heavier, Rainn fell asleep.

Of course, he wouldn't know that in his dream, Rainn would meet that Demon figure.

He stood on the dry ground emitting glowing embers from the gap. Rainn spread his eyes in all directions and what he saw was a pretty gruesome sight though not as bad as he thought about hell.

Rainn was standing in a cave. However, the size of this cave was so vast that he could not see the top of it.

The walls of this cave are made of red stone that looks like coal that is about to be extinguished. And under the earthen bridge he was standing on, Rainn could hear the roar of lava. At the far end is a white chair.

"Shit," Rainn mumbled. "It must be the Demon who got me here."

Rainn didn't think it would be this soon. Even though he already knew that he would indeed meet this Demon sooner or later because the Demon had already said so.

But, why isn't the Demon here? Rainn turned his body all over the place and found nothing.

"Sorry," a woman's voice startled Rainn. He immediately turned his head back to the front. "You must have waited a long time."

Suddenly on the chair in front of him, someone was already sitting there.

"Come closer," said the figure. Rainn was sure that she was definitely not a human. But Rainn didn't feel that he had any other choice now. After all, he was in dreamland right now.

Rainn walked over to her. The earthen bridge he crossed seemed can be shattered at any moment due to the turbulence of the lava below.

Once he got closer Rainn could finally see her form clearly. To Rainn's surprise, she takes the form of a beautiful woman.

The woman was wearing black clothes. Her sitting position with legs crossed made her thighs exposed because the overalls she was wearing had a cut to the groin.

The woman's chest was not much different. Her chest swelled and seemed too big and too difficult for his clothes to fit. Her hair was scarlett-like blood and flow straight.

"You like this form?" asked the woman. Rainn just realized that he's been watching her ever since. He closed his mouth which was opened wide.

He saw the woman's face that seemed to smile full of satisfaction. Rainn knew that this form was not her true form. Because what he saw on the summoning circle that time was a huge, hideous horned form. While the woman in front of him has a beautiful face and beautiful body.

"Yeah, I like it," Rainn answered honestly and innocently.

"Ahahaha!" The woman--who was almost certainly a Demon--was laughing as if she was completely amused. "Thank you."

"Are you the Demon who appeared at that time?" Rainn asked.

The woman shrugged playfully. "I don't know. What do you think?"

Rainn looked at her flatly. "Yes, you are. Why did you bring me here?"

The woman smiled. Actually, since then, the smile still hasn't left her face. Only now the smile grew a little wider.

"I'm curious about you," the woman said. "By the way, we haven't introduced ourselves yet."

"For what? Get straight to the point. What do you want from me?" Reply Rain. He didn't feel scared because he thought that this was all just a dream and the Demon wouldn't be able to hurt him.

"Because introductions are something to do if we just met."

"Don't you already know my name? You're a Demon, aren't you?"

"Unfortunately, not yet." The woman shook her head. "Let me introduce myself first for now. My name is Gremory."

Rainn nodded. "My name is Rainn."

Then the demon named Gremory smirked. As if she has been satisfied after getting something good.

"Rainn, what a name." Gremory said. "Would you like to make a pact with me?"
