Act 1 | Chapter 1 – New World( Updated )

"Hey, pass the ball to me," I screamed while running towards the left side of the basketball court. Toby, who looks like a typical blond American guy, throws the ball toward me. After catching the ball in mid-air, I shoot it to the basket scouring a perfect 3-pointer. The audience in my college stadium cheered, while the rest of the teammates jump on me to celebrate since the game has ended with a final whistle sound.

After a while, when I am done with after-game hygiene, I saw a few girls waiting outside of the locker room. I know they are there for me since I am the only one left behind with all the other guys leaving with their dates. But since I am not interested in entertaining any of them today I just greeted them and said " Sorry girls, I have an important meeting to attend. So, I can't help any of you today." At first, they are a little reluctant but, after some failed attempts they left. Finally, being alone I enter the locker get my stuff, and headed to the head parking spot, Which is 5 min walk towards the south from the resting rooms. Once I found my car, which is the latest model of AUDI, I headed towards my home in Brookline. It took only a 1-hour ride to reach home. The car entered a big white villa, surrounded by a garden. The Car entered the gate after passing through the guards, following a road in the middle of the garden, that leads to the main gate of the villa, in front of which a beautiful water Fountain is placed. I stopped the car near the big gate, when a middle-aged butler came to me smiled, and asked, " how is your day sir?" I looked at him and smiled back and replied, "It was good as usual, Alfred ." Alfred nodded took the key from me passed it to the other servant beside him to park the car.

I headed inside the house, my eyes fall on the beautiful interior, which has Strange Symbolic designs on the walls giving off a mysterious feeling, Some of the wall paintings make this feeling even more fulfilling. The whole place is fitted with expensive furniture, I sit on the Sofa while enjoying its soft cushions. Although my thoughts are all over the place, because today is 19th Oct, The day regained my memories of my previous life 8 years ago.

There are only a few months left before my graduation from college, it's been a long time but regrades from my previous life still hunt me to this day. My memories about the whole mess created by crying, searching for people I know, for my parents for Jenifer like some kind of mad guy stare ill fresh to this day. Many people from my previous neighborhood thought I have gone mad. Since that behavior is really weird for a 10 Years old kid. Even after I finally came done, with the help of a few good grandpa and grandmas, who later even helped me get a therapist.

Even after the Therapy, It took me more than 1 Year to, Come to terms with my situation. Within that time I also found the situation quite detailed. My memories showed me, that in this new world I don't have any family. My mother and father died 2 years after they adopted me. But they left me a great fortune, which has me covered. Other than friends, they don't seem to have a family either. I gained my memories after 2 days of their funeral. I also found a clue about the world I am in, The Marvel universe.

The biggest proof of this world being Marvel is the famous Stark Industries and the legend of America's Hero Captain America, The First and only successful Super solider known to this day. That realization already made me want to ask for a refund, since staying in a universe where I can get erased anytime is not a good feeling at all.
