Lydia woke up with excitement.The day is beautiful and bright.
The family meeting today will be an exciting one.
Chloe is going to tell daddy and mummy the truth about Lydia.
What a blessed day to be alive.
Lydia brought out her diary,read through the letter she wrote to herself and said after the family meeting, she will return to being good and her normal self.
Lydia made her bed and left the room to the kitchen to make breakfast.
She was singing and humming a song as she headed to the kitchen to make breakfast.
She wants to remind Chloe about their agreement.
Chloe was in the sitting room, watching TV.
Lydia greeted her, "Good morning, Chloe, hope you slept well?
Chloe replied,"Good morning Lydia,I did"
Lydia answered,I am going to make breakfast,so we can eat before the family meeting.
Chloe replied, "o.k.".
Lydia continue humming her song as she made breakfast.
Breakfast is egg, bread, becon and tea.The excitement of what the day will bring was all over her if Chloe keep to agreement.
Lillian entered the kitchen as Lydia prepare breakfast.
Lillian looked at Lydia and said," why the excitement today?
Can you let me in into what is making you happy.
Lydia looked at her and said nothing,I am just happy for a bright new day.
Lillian scorned at her and left the kitchen with a glass of water in her hand.
Lillian went to sit with Chloe in the sitting room.
Lillian asked Chloe,"Lydia is acting strange, she is so happy today despite the family meeting coming up.
Do you know why she is happy?
Chloe replied, "I don't know,ask her".I have replied Lillian,she said nothing.
As she was still talking, Lydia entered the sitting room and announced that breakfast is ready
The three ate breakfast and got ready for the family meeting with Lydia still exhibiting joy and excitement.
Daddy and mummy arrived late for the family meeting. The meeting was officially a business meeting held on the first Saturday of the month.
The meeting commenced at 10am instead of 8am with everyone gathered in the sitting room.
As usually daddy asked them how the business is going and their successes and as usual they blame their failure on Lydia.
Lydia still expecting the meeting to turn in her favour looked on Chloe to do as they agreed and tell the truth about everything to daddy and mummy.
Chloe and Lydia agreed that Chloe will tell the truth about Lydia hard working to daddy and mummy for Lydia to keep her secret of cheating on John..
It was the condition Lydia agreed to with Chloe.
But as of now Chloe is not saying anything to save Lydia.
The meeting is going the same way it has always gone on every monthly meeting with Lydia getting all the blame.
Daddy is lashing out on Lydia as usual with mummy starting at her with angry eyes.
Lydia stood up for the first time and was shut up by mummy.
In that moment, Chloe said to daddy and mummy," Do you know that Lydia have been going out every day and coming back late at night very drunk?"
She told them how Lydia beat her up when she asked her why she was coming back late and drunk.
On hearing that mummy rushed at Lydia, slapped her and commanded her to apologize to Chloe for her misbehaviour.
Daddy stopped her salary, gave instructions that she will not leave the house in the next 7days. Daddy sent her out of the room while the meeting continued with praises and reward for Lillian and Chloe.
Lydia went to her room weeping profusely.She took out her diary and reaffirmed her bad ways.

Lydia woke up the next day with swollen eyes and red.
She felt so sad, depressed, angry and irritated.
She didn't feel like her real self anymore. Her wicked plans to deal with her sisters and parent kept going through her mind..
She left her room to the kitchen to make something for herself because her stomach was already making noise.
She remembered not eating supper or lunch yesterday before sleeping off on her bed.
Chloe was in the sitting room watching TV again as Lydia passed to prepare breakfast for herself.
Chloe ran to her and said, "please forgive me. Please don't tell anyone anything about our secret."
Lydia replied, "our secret or your secret?"
Chloe said, "I don't know what came over me yesterday at the family meeting to do such a thing to you.
