Chapter 08: The Summoning Creature

"Well, I can help you get training methods for Natural Energy and Senjutsu Chakra. So, you don't need to talk to Jiraiya-sensei about this," said Minato with an awkward smile, trying to keep the atmosphere comfortable.

"Oh, no problem... Huh? So, this big brother is a student of Jiraiya the Sannin? Amazing! Are you really a student of Master Jiraiya?" asked Aoki with sparkling eyes, full of enthusiasm.

"Yes, I am indeed a student of Jiraiya-sensei. I will teach you about Senjutsu Chakra and Natural Energy," replied Minato with a smile, looking at Aoki attentively.

"Really? But it must be a hassle for you, Brother Minato. Oh, and it seems that Natural Energy is taught through summoning creatures or Kuchiyose, right? Can you teach me how to summon a creature?" Aoki asked, curious.

"Uh, that's true, but with the chakra you have right now, and also..." Minato looked confused, unsure how to explain that limitation.

"Alright, now let's try. Aoki, pay close attention. This is the Hand Seal for using Kuchiyose no Jutsu." Minato explained, carefully demonstrating the sequence of hand seals. "You just need to apply blood to your palm, then form the hand seal like this. Can you use chakra and do you understand how to use the jutsu?"

"Of course, Brother Minato!" Aoki replied enthusiastically. Aoki quickly bit his finger until it bled, then smeared the blood on his palm.

Quickly, Aoki mimicked the hand seals shown by Minato. Chakra began to flow from Aoki's chest to his palm, and as Aoki pressed his palm to the ground, the chakra surged forth, as if pouring all its strength into the jutsu.

Seeing this, Minato was shocked.

"This can't be...," thought Minato, but before he could finish his thought, thick smoke appeared, signaling the success of the jutsu.

When the smoke cleared, a black and white kitten appeared, seemingly asleep. The cat lifted its head with its left paw, while in its right paw was a fish that looked like a toy.

"A cat...? Wait a minute!" Minato exclaimed, recognizing the creature.

"I remember this kitten! Isn't this the kitten that often went missing a few years ago? When I was still a Genin, I also had a mission to catch this kitten."

"I didn't expect that this kitten was actually a summoning creature that came from Aoki's jutsu!" Minato stared at the cat in astonishment.

"Eh, where is this? Wait... Aren't you the kid who tried to catch me a few years ago? Did you use a summoning jutsu on me, kid?" The cat asked lazily, finally waking up and looking at Minato with half-closed eyes.

"Wow! This kitten can talk, amazing!" Aoki exclaimed with sparkling eyes.

"Little Cat, I want to make a contract with you, but before that, I want to ask, do you know about Natural Energy or Senjutsu?" Aoki asked enthusiastically, looking at the black and white cat.

"Hah? Kid, you want to make a contract with the great Kuroshiro? Hmm... Natural Energy? Of course, I know." Kuroshiro said with a proud tone, its tail waving confidently.
