(ANL: After Naruto Left)

Jounin team leaders gathered in front of Tsunade, of genin-chuunin teams.

Tsunade with her arms interlocked against each other, she said "You know why I called you over right?"

Kakashi sighed as he scratched his head "Well… Somehow…"

Azuma Gai, and Kurenai nodded as well as the other team leaders.

Tsunade explained "The mission to support Kiri with its coup takes high priority. I'm sorry to call over on such short notice but you all will come with Kiri along with members of Anbu. As you know, the news about the barrier around the village has spread, the Uzumaki incident will repeat if nothing is done. Konoha is strong and able to compete with all the villages but cannot compete with them all at the same time. So support Kiri and proceed with the alliance plan that the Sandaime has started. We need someone to support us. I will also send a separate team to Suna as we have a bargaining chip called Gaara, that Naruto left us."

"Although this might result in an alliance between Kumo and Iwa, it's better than having all of them as enemies."

Kakashi sighed as he sensed a war brewing but not nodded.

"Gather all of your teams, and you're all to set out at the soonest possible instant! This mission must be completed at all costs! And Kakashi… Yuki Haku is a valuable asset, she will replace Uzumaki Naruto as your team member."

"Yes! Godaime-sama!" The team leaders all kneeled before leaving the room, running to gather their teams as soon as possible.

As soon as they all left, Nara Shikaku entered the room, "Godaime-sama, the preparation for Suna has been completed."

Tsunade nodded "Umu. Shikaku, you will lead the team to Suna and make sure that an alliance is successful. They have no choice but… Don't corner a rat or else it'll bite. Satisfy their wants but don't let them get it to their heads."

Shikaku smiled and said, "I understand, Godaime-sama."

2 separate armies of ninjas left in different directions with one larger than the other.

The army going to Kiri possessed a number of 500 ninjas and the one going to Suna possessed a number of 100 ninjas.

Tsunade sighed as she leaned back on her chair "I just hope we can achieve peace after all this…"

"Hahaha! How stiff! Relax more! Tsuna!" Hashirama laughed while sitting in the couch of the office with Hiruzen in front playing cards.

Tobirama simply facepalmed and asked "So? What do you have in mind after all this?"

Tsunade thought before answering "Hm… Eternal peace is impossible but sharing things between villages little by little might lessen the tension over time causing a proper alliance. 

Right now, we're just taking advantage of each other even after the war is over.

They need something from us, and we need them to at least put up with the appearance that we outnumber Kumo and Iwa, making them think twice before starting a war even if they do start an alliance of their own.

For starters, we will come up as a village that wants every village under its leash but we will show them over time that we simply want peace."

Tobirama nodded in agreement to Tsunade's tone, after experiencing war all of his life, he wanted peace in the world as he reflected in the pure lands "I supp…"

But was interrupted by Hashirama's laughter "Hah! Straight! I won! Saru! Looks like my luck has gotten better after dying!"

Tobirama's face twitched but tried to continue "I suppor…"

But was once again interrupted, this time, by Hiruzen.

"You're making decisions too fast, Shodai… I have a straight flush! Hah! In your face!"

"Kuh! So close!" Hashirama complained as he facepalmed.

Tobirama couldn't hold back any longer and scolded "You two kneel on the ground right now!"

Hashirama startled but then stood up "This is bad, run! Saru!"

Hiruzen nodded and followed behind Hashirama.

Tobirama got even more angered as he chased after them "Stop right now!"

Tsuande couldn't help but sigh at their carefree attitude, as a hokage, she was worrying about war but although they're retired couldn't they worry about Konoha more as her predecessors?

Kiri army… Kakashi looked at Sasuke, Sakura, and Haku before saying "Be careful, this is unlike any other missions we've taken in the past. This is a war where you could lose your life anytime."

Sasuke, Sakura, and Haku nodded understanding the fact that wars between ninjas are dangerous.

Especially Haku who's lived her life as a spy, he understood how wars affected the countries, and how many ninjas die every war. But she doesn't plan on dying anytime soon, she promise Naruto she'll wait for him.

(A/N: wait… did I just make a death flag?!?! No! That won't happen! I'm not Jujutsu Kaisen's author!)

Sasuke prepared himself mentally, as they slowly approached the battlefield. Remembering his training with extreme chakra control, and lightning chakra nature application.

Sakura also prepared herself, making sure how she would deal with enemies.

She's also read what Naruto gave her, although she can't use sage mode yet, she got an idea on how to use chakra more efficiently thanks to instruction of the extreme chakra control to achieve sage mode.

What if extremely concentrated chakra was used to coat the fist? What would happen? She tried it out with a miniscule chakra on a tree then…

Boom!

Her punch print was visible to the tree as it penetrated it a few inches deep!

She looked at the punch print then her fist in astonishment. That chakra didn't even consume 5% of her chakra! She clenched her fist in excitement, even without seals she could now fight in close combat but not for long even with it consuming less than 5% of her chakra.

2 days later… When they arrived at the battlefield, it was vastly different from Sasuke's and Sakura's expectations.

Ninjas were dying from left to right like they were weeds in the garden being cut.

"Sasuke! Behind you!" Kakashi solemnly warned.

Sasuke clicked his tongue and activated his sharingan before using [Lightning Chakra Mode] for an instant and moved at extreme speed behind the ninja and killed him with a kick boosted with the speed, brought by [Lightning Chakra Mode.]

Cchicihcihci!

Boom!

Kakashi scolded with a cold voice "You two… focus! This is what a war between ninjas is like! If you dawdle even for an instant you'll die!"

Sasuke nodded and became even more vigilant.

Sakura also nodded and focused. With a ninja appearing suddenly in front of her, she immediately applied chakra to her fist [Chakra Gauntlet!] then to her feet, [Body Flicker] to boost herself in the direction of the ninja.

Boom!

Sending the ninja far away.

Kakashi praised with a nod "Good job. Continue that way."

Kakashi glanced at Haku who wore a cold face, as she killed ninjas that came her way from left to right without hesitation.

He nodded in praise and focused on his own battle. They didn't need his protection right now.

He also opened the seal in his sharingan to not miss any detail in battle, although it'd consume more chakra. It's better to kill them all as fast they can so they can reach the coup's camp.

Suna…

"We've come here to propose an alliance." Shikaku with a straight face said as he faced the Jounin council that came their way prepared for war.

"An alliance? When you've captured our tailed beast's jinchuuriki?!" one of the Jounin snorted in reply.

Shikaku calmly replied "We will give back the jinchuuriki, we have also strengthened his seal. In return we wish for an alliance."

'What?' The all thought in shock, the Konoha not only did them a huge favour by doing it and they also proposed an alliance that they definitely need at the current moment as they've lost their kage. But they couldn't give in so easily so one of the Jounin council asked "What's the catch?"

Shikaku nodded and explained "There is no catch… is what I would like to say but we simply want to achieve peace. I'm sure you've heard of the news in Konoha recently."

They nodded and Shikaku continued "Although Konoha is strong enough to compete with both Kumo and Iwa, we risk the outcome of an all out war meaning the start of '4th great ninja war.'

Konoha doesn't want to risk ninjas lives in another war.

Right now, Kiri and Suna are currently weak enough to be considered as a minor village, will definitely be the most affected during the '4th great ninja war' hence I propose a proposal.

An alliance. We will ally with both Kiri and Suna, making Kumo and Iwa think twice about war even if they made an alliance themselves.

Of course, we will also provide support in the rebuilding of Sunagakure's economy for you to be able to stand on your own. We will also allow trade between Konoha and Suna without any obstructions making previous grudges bygones."

The Jounin council looked at each other and the answer in their minds was basically the same: "The deal is way too good for us. What are you guys planning?"

"It's the sincerity of Konoha for the alliance just like I've said, we simply wish for peace. If you wish to discuss it more, We'll be willing to stay in Suna for a week or two."
