"Honorable Five Elders…"
At this moment—
Atop the Red Line, within the Chamber of Authority in Mariejois, a CP0 officer dashed in, drenched in sweat, to deliver his report.
"We've just received word—an intense battle broke out on Alvia Island. Witnesses reported seeing Fallen Angel El!"
"It's highly likely that the 'Gale Swordsman' has already been targeted by him. His survival seems improbable!"
"What!?"
The Five Elders' expressions darkened.
They rose to their feet, visibly alarmed and enraged.
"What's going on?!"
"Why is Fallen Angel El suddenly appearing in the first half of the Grand Line? Didn't he just announce the founding of some 'Totto Land Kingdom' in the New World?"
"It's likely due to the Paramecia Mirror-Mirror Fruit. He must be using the Mirror World for rapid transportation," the CP0 officer cautiously replied.
"As for why the 'Gale Swordsman' was targeted, it's possible there's a mole within the World Government. I've already ordered a full investigation."
"Bang!"
The sound of a table being smashed echoed through the room.
"Damn it! One step behind again?"
"That damn Fallen Angel El!"
"That crafty Lunarian brat! He's too cunning!"
The Five Elders' faces were ashen, their anger and frustration palpable.
They had been preparing to recruit a civilian powerhouse to bolster the Navy's strength by making him an admiral.
But before their plan could unfold, El had already caught wind of it and eliminated the candidate—a powerful swordsman who was practically a future admiral.
"It seems CP has been infiltrated far more deeply than we thought."
Saint Nasujuro's face twisted with malice as he spoke.
"The only ones privy to this information were CP, ourselves, Fleet Admiral Hammons William, and Admiral Kong!"
Naturally, they excluded themselves.
Neither Fleet Admiral Harmons William nor Kong could possibly be traitors.
The only explanation was that CP had been compromised by the Fallen Angel Pirates.
"Indeed, a purge is in order," Saint Saturn declared, gripping his cane tightly, his tone brimming with murderous intent.
"We've also overlooked the threat posed by the Mirror-Mirror Fruit…"
Saint Mars paced the room, his face grim with unease.
"That treacherous brat El has such a dangerous ability in his hands. It's possible he could infiltrate Mariejois without us even knowing."
"Honorable Elders, the Mirror-Mirror Fruit allows its user to travel through the Mirror World to any existing mirror," the CP0 officer reminded them.
"According to the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia, any mirror marked by the user can be accessed. Glass mirrors can be resized at will, but they must remain intact. However, metallic mirrors cannot be resized or marked as easily."
As the CP0 officer explained, the Five Elders' faces grew darker.
They exchanged glances and quickly reached a decision.
"Issue an order: All glass mirrors in Mariejois must be smashed immediately—no exceptions, even in the homes of the Celestial Dragons!"
Saint Saturn's icy gaze bore into the CP0 officer.
"All mirrors must be replaced with metal ones, no larger than an apple. When not in use, they are to be locked in soundproof containers and constantly monitored to prevent any eavesdropping or infiltration!"
"But the World Nobles…?"
The CP0 officer hesitated.
The arrogant and domineering Celestial Dragons would not easily cooperate.
If they refused, CP0 lacked the authority to forcibly implement such measures.
"This isn't up for debate. Tell them it's a unanimous decision from the Five Elders!"
Satan Saint crossed his arms, his voice cold.
"Warn them: If they don't want to end up like Saint Fenix and the others, abducted from their rooms without a sound, they'd better cooperate!"
"Understood, I'll see to it immediately!"
The CP0 officer bowed and turned to leave.
"Wait…"
Saint Mars called him back, rubbing his temple as he added:
"CP must find a way—at any cost—to eliminate this Mirror-Mirror Fruit user!"
The Five Elders understood all too well the threat posed by such a power in the hands of the Fallen Angel Pirates.
There's no such thing as a permanent defense against a determined intruder.
This hidden danger had to be eradicated.
"Yes, my lords!"
…
Later that evening...
The sun set in the west.
In the New World, within the Totto Land Kingdom, El and Gerd returned triumphantly.
They brought back the newly created six-winged fallen angel robot, Wrath of Sin, Samael, as well as the Paramecia Repel-Repel Fruit ability. Meanwhile, Barry and the others remained in the Mirror World to commence the next phase of their plan.
"The Seven Deadly Sins… finally complete?"
Linlin examined the six-winged fallen angel, Samael, and smiled faintly.
"Sally, how's your side coming along?" El asked directly.
Sally chuckled softly. "Hehe, for someone at death's door, with one foot already in the grave, do you think they'd refuse the chance to regain their youth?"
Linlin pouted, clearly displeased. "That was my one and only chance wasted on her… Allowing her to become one of my Bloodborne was a mercy. She got off easy!"
If the Fallen Angel Pirates didn't currently lack high-level combatants, she wouldn't have bothered with someone like that.
"At least she's a rare Mythical Zoan user with the Kamaitachi form. At her peak, her strength was comparable to a Navy Admiral. She's barely worth the trouble," El replied with a smirk.
Blood Servants and Bloodborne were new abilities developed by Linlin.
By draining a target's blood and replacing it with her own, refined through her Mythical Zoan Vampire Form, she could transform the target into a Blood Servant—a puppet under her complete control.
Although these Blood Servants were still alive, they had lost all self-awareness and functioned as mindless dolls, obeying her every command. Their combat strength relied solely on primal instincts, similar to the jailer beasts.
Bloodborne, on the other hand, was different.
It was akin to the "First Embrace" of mythical vampires. Bloodborne retained their personality and consciousness, unlike Blood Servants, and also gained partial powers of the Mythical Zoan Vampire Form.
They could transform into vampires, granting them abilities equivalent to users of the Ancient Zoan Bat Form, and their powers wouldn't conflict with any Devil Fruit they already possessed.
Moreover, as a Mythical Zoan Vampire, Linlin could transfer the lifespan she had stolen to her Bloodborne, granting them eternal youth.
In theory, as long as Linlin remained alive and willing, her Bloodborne could retain their youth indefinitely and avoid dying of old age.
However, there was a tradeoff: Bloodborne could never disobey Linlin's will, binding them eternally as her servant.
Currently, Linlin could only create one true Bloodborne.
