Chapter 8: My fate or zero the world; going down memory lane, a world full of secrets.

I know I just started writing and I also know that some of the chapters are boring but I literally have to drop a big bomb. Because of some personal reasons, this might be the last chapter you read till a year after, I guess. But don't be afraid, I will continue the story after I am done and I won't forget to write after a year. Well, I would like to say thank you to all does who have read my book and liked it or not. But don't forget, I will write back after a year. I Literally poured all my soul out on this but it is a little lengthy so please enjoy reading.

Daniel entered the small cave and laid on the sleeping bag remembering the events that had happened in his life during the past few days. His first risk activated, his nights with Stella, this morning's incidence and his meeting with Caroline Pascal all made it a heck of a week for him.

Daniel pulled out his Tuxer stone, had a good look at it and smiled. He remembered that actually having done some sexual activities will give him some skill points.

"I wonder how many skill points I got from my nights with Stella", he thought.

He requested a system update on his X-system by saying it in his mind. Immediately after, this appeared in his mind.

"I don't even know what to do with all this points... Maybe I should talk to Lynx, maybe he will know what to do", he muttered in his brains before tapping the Legend Bracelet thrice.

Immediately after that action, a small yellow light popped out of the bracelet and Lynx appeared.

//Good to be back out. You've fulfilled your promise just like you said.//

"Well, Good to see you again buddy. Should we begin with the training", he said as the golden griffin perched a seat on Daniel's shoulders.

// Sure,but you wouldn't like to tell me your experience with Miss Stella in your Pleasure Devil Mode...hmm//

"Wait a minute but you could see me even in the bracelet"

//Well, I can't see you but I can feel your feelings and energy after we fused.//

"Amazing..."

//It's not all, after we fused, I also fused with your X-system as well//

"So why didn't you do anything to stop my first activation of the risk, I did rape Stella"

//Well, I can't do anything about that because I have no power over it,.yet//

"Okay then... Lynx, please I want some advice"

//Speak, I am all ears//

"Well, after my first risk activation, well... I had some intimacy with Stella and well she has now accept as her new boyfriend"

//Congratulations!, Well I felt a deep feeling of love when you did make me love to her twice//

// Yeah, I know how much you love her so fulfill your promise to her and keep her safe from the dangers coming ahead//

"Yes, I know, you mean the corrupted saint weapons and Kaios"

"Anyway I gained a skill points of about 52K and I don't know what to do with it."

Smiling, Daniel begun posing, showing off his biceps and triceps.

//[Smirk]... I can feel your body growing greatly.//

" Well, thanks to your idea I leveled up my strength to 25"

//Mmh... Aah...//

"That's not all. My agility, speed and stamina has increased greatly too as well"

// So does this mean we will have no training today?//

"No, not at all. I know that I am now powerful now but that does not mean I am gonna stop training or working out. As long as there is somebody must greater and more powerful than me, I will always train to be the best, the best hero alive!"

//Good to know//.

Lynx smiled at him getting to know his new master has a never give up spirit.

//Master Daniel, can we please step outside, I really need to show you something//

Lynx sat on his arm while they got out out of the cave. They began walking away from the cave. After a while, Lynx asked to stop. Stopping, Lynx got off his hand and faced him and the next moment took him back in shock and surprise. Lynx, the golden griffin begun glowing and emitting some sort of gold energy. Within seconds, Lynx completely metamorphised into a human.

He had a temple fade haircut, wearing a green T-shirt with a pair of trousers and some shoes.

The fact that Lynx could take a human form took him aback.

"How... How.... How are you doing this"

//Well, I've stayed with humans for a while, I was able to take a human form I desired. As a weapon, I have three forms namely, My normal form, My human form and My full Griffin Form, which makes me big enough to ride on//

"Epic, so do you have any cool tricks up your sleeve that you can pull off"

// Apparently, yes. Like a weapon, I have certain things stored up in me. I hold four magic spells and a weapon system. But no need to wait, [Smile] I can show you one now//

Making some strange hand signs for a while, he laid his hands on the ground still smiling at Daniel. Within a few seconds, white light was seen on the ground and a big magic circle was seen covering about 100 acres. Immediately following after, it looked like the white light became brighter and a film of rubber covered that place like a flexible shield. Full of shock and more questions, Daniel moved close to the shield and felt the flexible shield.

// This was one of the spells placed inside me. This is called The Silent Dome Barrier spell. This spell I have conjured is a Barrier spell which does not allow sound to me in and out of the area the dome has covered.//

"Very brilliant, so that our training will not get interrupted or make a scene. People won't hear us and we won't hear them"

// Exactly//

"But hey, when do I get to cast cool spells like yours"

//Soon but not now. For now, we are going to learn how to use your powers to its full potential. In fact,along the way of our training, I would teach you a few spells you would needon the your level//

" So casting master spells like this depends on level, right?"

// Yes//

"Oh, okay"

//Do you mind beginning our training with a battle//

" Why, a battle training "

//To test how well you can do in battle and studying your power as well//

" To be able to great ultimate moves, defeat Kaios and save the world and Multiverse"

//Exactly. And besides why fear, I've already taught you how to activate your power so you can use this training to be able to hone your powers properly//

"Okay, I understand"

// So then let's begin[ Clenching his fists]//

After activating his fire power, Daniel made a grin and he began shooting series of fire balls. Lynx(in human form) did not move an inch and after the attack he was still standing at the same spot smiling. Enraged his attack did not work, Daniel rushed towards Lynx( in human form) and when he tried to throw a punch, Lynx( in human form) kicked him in the gutts, sending him into the Silent Dome Barrier. Before Daniel could bounce back, Lynx was already in front of him and after bouncing back Lynx landed an axe kick on Daniel's jaw sending him into the air and after he bouncing back Lynx punched his stomach region, shifting his momentum to switching positions in the air, Lynx drove his fist through his stomach region to hit the floor causing a minor shockwave.

"I thought you were gonna go easy on me but I guess not", Daniel said coughing out blood. Wiping the blood with his hands, he grinned at Daniel.

// Sorry for the spoiler but I ain't gonna go easy on you. I need to prepare you for Kaios and besides it's been since I let lose a bit. //

"Is this what you call letting lose a little bit...!, and whose this Kaios you've been talking about"

// He is the person that uses the corrupted saint weapon, now if you wanna know more about Kaios you would have to wait until after we are done with this training session please. Now let's get back to our ass whopping okay//

Looking at each other for a while, they continued their fight. Daniel rushed onwards to Lynx only to get another blow to the gutts. In retaliation, Daniel attacked Lynx with a blow to the face only for Lynx to catch the blow, put unlucky for Lynx, Daniel did not want to take his failure so he landed a fast flash fist to Lynx's nose.

He continued with series of fist landing on Lynx's stomach region. Dazing Lynx off for a while, Daniel landed a thunderous diving fist accompanied by embers of flames on Lynx's face, causing a huge shockwave when Daniel drove his fist already in Lynx's face on the ground. The shockwave cleared almost ten trees in the Forest reserve.

To Daniel's surprise, Lynx flipped back up without breaking a sweet. He cleared the dust on his body and just smirked.

// I guess your strength has begun to reveal itself. That was really powerful punch//

"But it didn't even knock you out..., I put every strength I had into that punch"

//A normal human being won't even survive that but I am a Saint weapon, so there is a difference. Anyway, will you like to name it...//

" I think I will name it 'Rage Fist' ."

// Why Rage, you could pick any other name //

"Well, I wanted to name it after a sad event that happened to me many years ago"

//Okay well, we have to continue because it will be getting late for you very soon//

"But it's almost afternoon..."

// I have to tell you something after this which would also take a while so...//

" Okay I get it now... But let's get back to our training ,shall we?"

// Yeah,[ cough cough] I can't wait for payback//

Rushing into the battle again, he activated the flames to make his blows hotter, he launched a series of blows with Lynx dodging them all.

For Lynx's counterattack, he caught Daniel off guard when he was striking his blows and tried to hit him with a blow on the nose but lucky for Daniel, he saw it coming and blocked it with his elbow. In the process, Daniel swung his other powerful elbow to the head of Lynx sending him flying to the barrier and to top off the pain he shot a medium size fire ball hitting Lynx hard. After the fire ball hit Lynx, he fell down on the ground and spat out blood.

//You've become one of the few people to make me bleed and they pay dearly... That shot was one powerful hell.// he said as his green blood dripped snake like down his cheeks.

"That was one of my best Blazing shots you just felt sucker hahaha"

//Blazing shots? //

"You taught that I was not doing some mental training before coming here. I had learnt how to shot a fire ball before you came out of your bracelet. After, I named it Blazing Shot as a surprise I would be pulling up on you hahaha..."

//You have forgotten you were not the only one who can pull up surprises up their sleeves//

Lynx grinned as he had green energy move around his hands, then arms and then his entire his body. Daniel did not have time to react when Lynx blasted him with the green energy. Daniel was still standing after the blast caused a massive shockwave in the dome. With Daniel dazed, Lynx moved towards him at blinding speed, covering his fists with the green energy he punched Daniel,sending him flying into the bouncy barrier. Bouncing down, Lynx leaped up into the air to greet him with an axe kick into his stomach region while driving the kick in his stomach into the ground to create another yet massive shockwave, clearing almost all the trees in the dome. He blasted Daniel on the ground with series of green energy. Getting up in a slow manner, Daniel got up angrily spat out blood. He was also bleeding in the nose as well. Daniel started running in circles to dodge the green beams Lynx was already shooting. Daniel managed to land a few blows when he was running in circles but he got knocked down when he got hit with the green beams Lynx was shooting.

Refusing to give up after taking such damage, he got up again. He stood there silent because he was feeling a lot of pain which was making it excruciating for him to move.

// Oh Mister tough guy, you gonna give up. You think Kaios would spare you when you are weak. No, he's gonna punish you and then kill you and take me , become powerful and rule the Multiverse.//

" And who said I was gonna give up...[ Blood dripped from his fore head and nose. He spits out blood three times]

//That's the spirit but I am afraid that I will have to finish you for spilling my blood. Taste my deadliest move, ' Green beams: Inescapable Pain ' . //

Lynx begun to shoot his green beams at all sides of the dome seemingly, lost target, the beams bounced back and all headed towards Daniel. Accepting his fate, the beams hit Daniel and after the smoke cleared, he saw Lynx who had covered his hands with green energy speeding towards him screaming 'Green Fist'. All he saw was the first on his face, and a second later he was lying on the floor.

// Ha, that's the pain you get for tryna spill my blood haa. Green Fist just increases the pain hahahaha... hahaha.//

Still, Daniel was still lying on the ground.

// So if you were facing a real villain, would you lay down and give up while Kaios destroys everyone you love, Stella, the world, the Multiverse... Fuck, the fate of the world is in your hands and you're the world's last hope and you are lying there like a pathetic loses that's why your parents left you in the rain that night.//

"What are you talking bout! ... How did you know..!", he said crawling back on his feet.

//When I bonded with you I got to feel what what you feel... I gotta hear what you hear... I get to see what you see... At that point you had such great potential but you did not do anything... you just sat in their arms smiling that all...//

"I couldn't do anything...! I couldn't do nothing .... I was just a baby that's all..."

//Baby or not, you could have done something...//

After that, Daniel could not speak and then he started fuming with anger, frustration and sadness upon remembering his last encounter with his parents. He had always been angry at his parents that he did not leave him at the orphanage even on a rainy day.

Lynx started to shoot his green beams and a pissed Daniel began dodging and countering some of the blasts with his Blazing shots. When he got close to Lynx, he gave him a wicked round house kick to the face sending Lynx into the barrier. Bouncing back, he received a Rage Fist sending him flying into the top part of the barrier. Lynx had no time to breathe after bouncing back because he received series of body shots from Daniel who had leaped into the air. He drove another thunderous Rage Fist to Lynx which crashed his body down to the ground creating a monstrous shockwave almost wiping out everything in the dome. Without sparing Lynx, he grabbed his head and threw his body into the air accompanied by series of Blazing shots. Daniel leaped up to the air once more to drive another Rage Fist into Lynx's body crashing on the ground, creating yet another shockwave.

As if that was not enough, Daniel grabbed Lynx's face and rose his body up in the air. He then , nearly wiped Lynx's head with a perfect front kick into the air. He leaped into the air when Lynx's body bounced back and drove yet another Rage Fist into Lynx's stomach then crashing on the ground, and to top it all off, he destroyed Lynx with a giant Blazing shot he named ' Rage Bomb ' when Lynx was still on the floor all bloodied up.

Trying to crawl up to the ground slowly after the beatings, he tried to shoot another green blast, Daniel shot a Blazing Shot to counter and blasted Lynx with another Rage Fury.

" Don't you ever bring that issue up again or I will freakin murder you ! ... Asshole ! ", Daniel angrily growled.

//Okay,(cough, cough, cough cough cough)[Spits out blood and blood dripped from his nostrils, bleeding everywhere]... I get that you are angry but I just used that to motivate you...//

" Don't try that stunt again or I will freakin hung your head on my door..."

//Yish... , Besides, it works. You beat my ass down and it's not always you get to put a full grown saint weapon down on his butt... So bro... please chill//

Extending his hand out for help, Daniel actually smirked and helped him off his feet and they hugged it out.

//Asha doga moretoheal // he begin chanting and a magic circle appeared underneath his feet. Immediately after the chanting, all his bruises and bleeds stopped at once. Daniel realised that it was a healing spell.

"Wow, that's an amazing magical spell. My whole body would be bloody when I become a hero, and even now my body is in pain and that spell would be really helpful ... "

// I can heal you but you are actually not ready to learn magic //

"What do you mean I am not ready to learn magic, my magic is at least high enough..."

// Magic training session is actually not today but flying lesson is actually tommorow.//

"Wait... Did I hear that correctly?... I'm going to fly..!"

// Yeah, with your powers, it would be possible for you to fly.//

" Yes, I get to fly, whoop, whoop and away...[ Runs around and pretends to fly ] "

// Stop acting like a baby and stand still so that I can heal you//

After that, Lynx started the chants and Daniel was whole.

" Thanks, man"

// Please, don't mention it.//

"Anyways, you did say after the training, you would tell me about Kaios and what I need to do to stop him with the plans to stop him "

// Okay, I haven't forgotten about that. Well it all started when Lucifer was throne out of heaven, he made a plan to destroy Earth and as part of this his highly powered fallen angel followed him. As part of God's plan, he had Jesus Christ as a plan A, plan B in the form of the Holy Spirit and plan C was the saint weapons, all to stop Satan in his tracks. Even though plan A and B worked worked, Satan was still restless and hell bent on destroying us so plan C was implemented so that we can keep Satan abay. But Satan and the highly powerful angel found a way to manifest themselves by corrupting one of the Saint weapons which Kaios was the user. Apparently some of the saint users also joined Kaios and Satan to destroy this world. And only you the Legendary Saint weapon user have the power to defeat him //

" Okay... But I ain't gonna kill a man just because he doesn't understand or is corrupted by Satan's shit. Can't we do anything to stop him that does not involve pain ?..."

// We can't do anything to him that does not involve pain... Wait, I think that there's a way...//

"What's the way we need to do..."

// We can cleanse him with a cleansing spell to remove all controls of evil forces from him. But, the truth is one must let go off his dark past and move on and it is one thing that Kaios would never do...//

" Then, he hasn't me or Stella..."

//Ha... As if you can do shit to change his mind...//

" Hmm, we will see..."

// Hmm, we'll see after Kaios blasts you to eternal pain. It will shock you that the whole universe get destroyed because of you... Well, you can still change your mind about the stupid idea and pick the alternative, which is we kill him and seize his weapon. //

"What has Kaios done that needs killing..."

//[Angry], What has Kaios done mmm!, What has he done! Well, he murdered my first two users, my deceased masters tried to stop him from erasing the universe and recreating it with HIM and Satan ruling over it... //

" Chill man, I get it. But what I really don't really understand is that why would Kaios join the freakin Devil, for heaven's sake, he should have reasoned that he was going to become the bad guy "

//[ In a less angry tone ], Well, I know that for some reasons, he wanted to hate humankind.//

"Fuck him, he's human for heaven sake! "

//Well, maybe some humans... I guess //

" Any way, I guess our training is over so... Time to get in your house. "

// Before I go back in the Legend Bracelet I want to tell you this ... The fate of the world is in your hands, so your fate is either kill Kaios or find a way to cleanse him, or else he will destroy the world, Multiverse... Everyone you love will get terminated. But with your current status, I think you actually stand a chance at stopping Kaios and saving the Multiverse... If you train harder... As I said , the fate of the world depends on the battle between you and Kaios, fuck up and there will be no world, no universe, no Multiverse, no Omniverse nothing, everything will be zeroed out... So don't fuck up or else... I trust you... Bye for now...//

And poof, he entered the Legend Bracelet.

When he went into the Legend Bracelet, the magic dome faded away. Daniel happily hoped his way to the cave, had some rest before going back home.

When he got back home, Stella walked up to him and kissed him ( French Kiss ).

" Dani babe, where did you go... My love, my sweet guardian angel...", she said as she kissed him again.

" I was out to start preparing myself to start work. I had to make sure I had it worked out. I have decided to become an actor and an artist...", he answered as he kissed her back.

" That's so sweet. You wonna be the same business as I am so that we don't get separated oh you sweet thing...", she said as she began kissing his neck.

" So you know how to write lyrics and sing ...", she continues as she places her hands around her neck.

" I have written a few in my head is just that written it just makes me lazy...", he said. Stella just giggled at his statement.

" Well as for singing it, I would go for classes along with other classes like pakour, taekwondo, karate and other classes. I might need your credit card to pay for all this...", Daniel said shyly. He had never asked Stella for anything unless it is an emergency and Stella knew about it.

" You'll not need my credit card... [ Walks to her purse smiles and pulls out something] Because I got you a credit card with loads of money on it. I did get it for you this morning when you left. I also got you a new bank account filled with cash all for you my 'amor'. I bought you some stuff which is on your bed since now we are in a relationship, I want to give you my maximum support...", she said as she gave the card to Daniel. Daniel was just dumbfounded.

" Baby boo, what's wrong... you no like my gifts ", she asked.

Daniel smiled and hugged her tightly. He later kissed her passionately.

" I don't just like you, I love you and I would one day marry you. Thank you so much darling... You were sent from above to come and help me [ He looked up and said, Thank you God for bringing this angel in my life ] ", he said as he hugged them.

" Well, I should be thanking God for bringing you, my magnificent arch angelic super duper hero into ma life..." she said.

" After school, when I become a hero, you would be the only person I save first before any other... ", he said as he put his hands around her waist.

" Oh boy, you wonna become a hero, an artist and an actor, you're so hardworking. Come and let's go and eat dinner ", she playfully dragged Daniel into the dinning area in the West wing of the mansion.

Dinner was literally a vegetable and meat pot pie which was Stella's favourite dish.

While eating, Daniel asked Stella if they could all sleep at his room tonight and she agreed. He didn't even check the gifts that Stella brought him, he just put them aside after having his bath with Stella. They jumped in bed and Stella feel asleep immediately. Daniel was still poundering on the words that Lynx told him, about his fate fight with Kaios which if he fails, the world would disappear into nothing.

He kept thinking about it till he fell asleep at eleven.
