Chapter 2: A puppy? Me? What?

A plump little grey fur puppy was trembling in an old, empty trash bin down the deserted alleyway.

Despite its repulsive smell, the little thing looked so cute that it is hard to describe in words, leaving one swimming amid the peak of fantasy of making it into a dog stew.

Suddenly—the little puppy trembled.

"Woof?!" (What is going on? where am I now?)

In a state of confusion, Ning winced, feeling famished. As if waking up from a nightmare, her eyes jolted open, and without warning, she was already on her feet, looking around warily in a new body.

She was no longer the same!

"Awuu~" Hearing the strangely familiar but foreign sound coming out from her own throat, Ning's entire body froze,

'Huh? My voice! What happened to my voice!'

While lamenting her destiny, she sighed with relief.

'I'm so hungry... Mama dog, where are you? I need those milk...' Sighing in a heavy mood, Ning decided to rest for the night and waited till tomorrow. Although the trash bin is dirty and stinks, it's the safest place at the moment.

From time to time, Ning's chubby puppy body trembled as the cold wind blew, empty soda can rolling about in the dark, abandoned alley. Furthermore, in the background, the low roars and groans of zombies gave it an eerie vibe.
