This story is the direct sequel to The Middle Earth Gamer it tells the story of Maedhros Feanorian Storm the son of Taranis the Thunderer. This story starts five years after The Middle Earth Gamer.
Maedhros Feanorian Storm is a remarkable young man of 16, already standing tall at 6'5" with striking white hair and eyes the color of a fierce storm. He's grown into a natural leader, radiating both strength and an almost intimidating presence inherited from his mother's lineage in the House of Fëanor. Kind-hearted, empathetic, and driven by a powerful sense of justice, Maedhros feels compelled to defend those who cannot protect themselves. He has a natural inclination to help those in need and to stand up against any form of oppression. These qualities make him a respected figure among his peers, admired for his dedication and often looked up to as a protector.
However, Maedhros is not without his faults. Beneath his noble exterior, he struggles with a dark, simmering anger. His temper can flare suddenly, and when he believes someone is wrong or acting unjustly, he can lose control, lashing out both verbally and physically. His anger isn't easily quelled, and he often feels regret after letting it consume him. His fury, though typically reserved for true wrongdoers, sometimes clouds his judgment and makes it difficult for him to see reason, especially when he feels his values or loved ones are under threat.
This is compounded by Maedhros's intense pride. He harbors an unshakable belief in his own abilities and convictions, which, though partly justified by his talent and lineage, sometimes manifests as arrogance. Maedhros often dismisses advice or warnings, certain that he can handle any situation that arises. This hubris can make him difficult to work with, and it leaves him vulnerable to making mistakes when he overestimates himself or underestimates his opponents. His arrogance isolates him at times, making it challenging to form deeper connections, as others can feel overshadowed or underestimated by his confidence.
Adding to his mystique, Maedhros possesses an ability that no one can fully explain: he can command lightning. Despite his lack of a gamer system like his father's, this power emerged in him naturally, further feeding his sense of uniqueness and, at times, loneliness. He has trained to wield it with control and skill, able to unleash bolts of lightning in battle—a fearsome ability that underscores both his power and his isolation. This gift also heightens his sense of pride and destiny, as he believes it makes him a chosen warrior, set apart by fate.
Yet, for all his confidence and the burdens of his power, Maedhros is deeply loyal and loving to those who earn his trust, especially his family. He carries the memory of his parents, Taranis and Liriel, with deep reverence, feeling a responsibility to honor their legacy by using his strength and abilities to protect the innocent. Though he often wrestles with the weight of his pride and temper, Maedhros strives to control his darker impulses, vowing to become a hero worthy of his lineage and to uphold the values of courage, justice, and sacrifice instilled in him from a young age.
