The Son of Marvel

What happens when a random working joe dies on the job, and the poor schmuck doesn't even realize it. That is when this particular putz wakes up from his perceived nap to a completely different perspective and a whole new world to be completely normal. What this guy doesn't realize is that this new world is far from normal. (I am a new writer so bear with me, and because of my American public-school education even though English is my native language. Grammar and punctuation is not my strong point.) No harem and some lite romance elements

Chapter 36

POV Vega

"It will take a whole month to augment a ship to this extent. A lot of the tech we are putting into The Normandy is experimental and the stealth system you want in it. Will be in my opinion a massive waste of resources, it's a warship she don't need to be stealthy."

I give myself an internal eye roll and say, "The Normandy will be one of a kind. She needs to be the fastest ship you can build and the stealth system is priority to help me complete my mission from the All-Father." Trying to play nice because you don't want to piss off the people who build anything period.

Something will end up going wrong and you will spend more money in the long run trying to fix it. When it only takes a couple of seconds to be nice, to the Xandarian wielding a wrench standing in front of me.

He gives me a huff and says, "well it doesn't really matter to me. It's not my money or my ship so, if you want to be a dumb ass your choice." I hold back the urge to chuck him into outer space, as he waddles away barely.

With a sigh I turn to the view port and watch them dismantle the Kree warship to the bare bones. As they reconfigure it to match my designs and specifications. Using my photographic memory I drew up every detail of The Normandy, I wanted every feature it had and more. She is going to need every advantage she can get, to stay alive in this god forsaken universe.

The only changes I am made were by adding heavier armor, bigger guns, a lot of shields. She will be a beauty as, I will also add Asgardian runes throughout the whole ship to give her a magical edge.

Thinking about what else I can do, I made my way to the main marketplace on Xandar. When I got an absurd idea, and I raced to the Broker location that was shown in Guardian's of The Galaxy. I was going to get a lot of information and maybe some goodies to add on to my ship.

I zoomed in on what looked like the Broker in GOTG, he was in a shop just like where Yondu met him. Feeling giddy I walked into his shop, he looked at me up and down and said. "Welcome, how can the Broker help you this fine day. I get my hand on anything you need in the cosmos."

Pausing to compose myself, I answer " I know who you work for. Sorry, I am skipping a step allow me introduce myself. I my name is Vega and I would like you to set up a meeting with the Collector." He freezes up when I call him out, and he stammers. "I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about, please vacate my shop immediately."

Giving him the most feral grin in my arsenal. I step closer the counter and let my heat vision activate. With my eyes glowing I said, "you will contact the Collector immediately, and set up a meeting. Tell him Vega the All-Fathers representative has a deal to strike with him. Tell him I offer something he has wanted sense he came into existence, do this and I promise to owe you a favor."

A cunning look flashes on his face, "I will call him right now and arrange this meeting between you to. Now, when can this favor be exchanged, and does it extend to the All-Father himself."

As he finished the last part of his sentence,

he immediately new he fucked up. I sped up and was instantly on the other side of the counter before he could blink. With me looming over him I said, "the favor will be from me, and if you ever speak of the All-Father so causally. I will unleash a nightmare unlike any you have seen before." I pause to let him understand the gravity of the situation.

"Am I making myself clear, keep his name out of your mouth!" I shout to convey, that asking for a favor from the Asgardian King was was a big disrespect. In a way that would make the Joker proud, my demeanor changed to a sunny one, as I sent him the contact info on my communicator.

"I hope to hear from you real soon, and I wish for you to have a pleasant day." I say happily as I whistle an off beat tune, through his shop door and out into the busy market place of Xandar.

As I walk to my accommodations that the Nova Corp happy provided. I thought about all of the things I needed, Vibranium, a good crew to pilot The Normandy, and a really good AI to round out baby's arsenal. My ship needs to be a symbol, a reflection of me, she needed to be one of the best ships to ever sail this universe.
