Chapter 79. The General's Dark Secret

When Sofia had a battle with the top five assassins outside the ballroom, Lord Nicolas does his final plan for the Grosvenor family.

The ballroom is surrounded by assassins, so all the noble guests and the staffs can't go anywhere.

Theres no way out.

General Gregory says, "Where are the police officers?!!"

Lord Nicolas replies, "All of them are dead, including the detective and the inspector."

General Gregory surprised and says, "What?!,how?!"

Lord Nikolas replies, "I told the other assassins outside to finish them. Now General, theres no way out."

Sir.Igor stays close to him and he says, "Don't worry, master!, I'll protect you 'til my last breath."

Lord Nikolas says, "Astounding!!, I love your spirit of loyalty. Actually a person with that kind of spirit is exactly what I need, but too bad that you're in the wrong side."

Sir.Igor says, "I'll fulfil my duty and die with honor like all the knights who died for the Tsar."

Lord Nikolas says, "Well, I'll take his throne in the future after I finish that old man and if you mean that, sooner or later you will bow to me and you will serve me as your king."

Sir.Igor says, "NEVER!!!!!"

Dmitri suddenly run towards him and kicks his face.

Sir.Igor falls to the floor and Dmitri stepped on his head.

Dmitri says, "Too slow, old man."

Sir.Igor says, "Damn it!"

After that, Lady Anastasia says, "Nikolas, this isn't part of the plan."

Lord Nikolas replies, "Oh my apologies, Anastasia. Actually this is a part of my plan, I didn't told you before, because I fear that you won't follow my order if I told you this part of my plan. That's why I kept it a secret from you, so you will follow my order until this part that you will make a hard decision."

Lady Anastasia confused and says, "A hard decision?"

Then Lord Nikolas says, "General, come over here."

Sir.Igor says, "Master, don't listen to him!!"

Dmitri aims a sword towards Sir.Igor and says, "Silence!!"

Then he says towards General Gregory, "Obey to Lord Nikolas or I kill your butler here!!"

General Gregory says, "Alright, I'll obey."

Sir.Igor says, "Master, no!!"

Then General Gregory goes towards Lord Nikolas.

After that, he says to Nikolas, "What are you planning after this?"

Lord Nikolas says, "You'll see."

Then he calls Anastasia and Mrs.Victoria to come towards him as well.

Lord Nikolas says, "Victoria, gives Anastasia a gun."

Mrs.Victoria gives her a gun.

Then Nikolas says towards Anastasia, "Now Anastasia, kill him."

Lady Anastasia and General Gregory surprised of his statement.

Anastasia says, "What?"

Nikolas replies, "Kill your father."

Anastasia says, "I thought you were the one who's going to kill my father."

Nikolas says, "I did promise to you that your father will die, but I never said he'll died under my hands. You're the one who should end his life, your own father's life. It is not my right to kill your father, it's your right to pull the trigger into your father's head."

General Gregory gets mad and punches Nikolas.

Then, Mrs.Victoria shoots his right arm.

General Gregory screams in pain, "Ahhh!!!, my arm!!!"

After that, Anastasia aims the gun towards his own father.

The noble guests surprised.

General Gregory also surprised, he doesn't know that his own daughter wants him dead.

General Gregory says, "Anastasia, what are you doing?, do you want to kill me?, your own father?, you have no family anymore if you killed me. Your mother had died and now you want to kill your father?"

Anastasia says loudly, "Don't say anything about mother!!, you don't deserve her!!"

General Gregory says, "What do you mean?"

Anastasia says, "You're the cause of her death!!"

General Gregory says, "What?"

Anastasia says, "She died because of you!!"

The noble guests are surprised of her statement.

They're saying, "Is that true?"

General Gregory replies, "No, its not true!!, I won't kill your mother, I love her like I love you, my daughter."

Anastasia says, "No!!, you don't love her!!, you don't even care of her and me!!, I understand that you have a work as a General!! But you never return home!!, you only returned when I was 6 and that's only for an hour!! you never talk to me!!, you never play with me!!, you never have a breakfast, lunch and dinner with me and mother!! And mother is worry about you, because you always work and never rest. Because of her worries, she felt sick and finally she died. She died because she was worried about you, but you don't care. Even when mother died, you still work to serve the king!! You don't love us, you love the king more than us. You always!! You always!! You always do your work and forget your own family!! I hate you!! I hate you so much!! And even when I was 6, I ever saw you had a relationship with Mrs.Varvara!!"

Everyone in the ballroom surprised, including Sir.Igor.

Sir.Igor says, "That's not possible."

The nobles say, "How insolent!!, disgraceful!!, atrocious!!"

Meanwhile, Lord Walter Herbert says, "I disappointed in you, Lord Grosvenor."

General Gregory says, "No!!, it's a lie!!, it's a lie!!, don't believe in her!!"

Then Nikolas says, "She rarely talks to everyone. But now, for the first time, she says with a loud voice about you, I don't think it's a lie. What she said is the truth."

General Gregory says, "No!!, No!!, No!!, No!!, No!!"

Nikolas then says, "Alright, Anastasia. You have told your feelings and admit the truth about your father, now everyone knows. So then, you have a reason to pull the trigger. Now kill him!!"

Anastasia holds the trigger, but she doesn't pull it.

She shed tears and sweats.

Her hands were shaking.

Nikolas then screams, "What are you waiting for, kill him!!"

Anastasia is still hesitate to kill her father.

Nikolas screams once again, "KILL HIM!!"

After that, Anastasia throws the gun towards the glass window.

Then Anastasia cries and says, "I do hate him, but I can't, I can't kill him. Because he's still my father."

Anastasia cries loudly and close her face with both of her hands.

Lord Walter Herbert and Edgar Herbert says, "Anastasia."

Both of them feels pity for her.

But then, suddenly Sir.Igor uses his sword to scratches Dmitri's leg.

Dmitri feels hurt and let go of his leg from him.

And then, Sir.Igor quickly run towards General Gregory and cuts his head off with his sword.

Everyone surprised.

Then Nikolas asks, "Why do you killed your own master?"

Sir.Igor replies, "Because I know that Anastasia never lies. Indeed he is an insolent man, how immoral. I might be loyal to him, but I'll never support the wrong."
