During the world war 2 , along with the ideas of war and enhancing artillery, the scientific research was also in it's progress and it was going in competition. Too many discoveries and inventions were recorded in this era.

As for the war times the Government and the Army both focused on making of Super Soldiers for war.

These super soldier experiments were very common at that time , like making the soldiers too strong for battles and also they tried providing them the superpowers too, ofcourse it's too much they were not successful in this.
