204. Day-H
Today is the day of war, the day that will decide where this world will go. Jon has meditate for 2 days and he's covered in dead skin layers like before. Jon wake up and push his chakra out, make the dead skin layers explode.
"It's time."-Jon
Jon stand up and he make some wood clones. His clones then disappear and Jon also disappear after looking around for a moment. His eyes still looks like normal black eyes without any change.
Jon appear on the ciff of Red Line, near Mary Geoise. This is the cliff at the side of New World, and he can see the New Marineford from here. That's right, the public execution will be held on New Marineford.
Jon look at the time, and there's still an hour before the execution. He decide to check on Mary Geoise a little before starting. He won't investigate deeply, but might get something useful.
Jon move stealthily and look around the 'Holy City'. He see the nobles are complaining about their slaves disappearance to the CP Agents & Goverment Officials. Now the CP agents worked as their new 'slaves' that follow the nobles' wimps.
'It doesn't seem like they can help Marine if something happen. They're too busy playing with their stupid masters.'-Jon
The WG can't search for the runnaway slaves now with the war brewing. They can only do it after war, so they need the agents to replace the slaves' jobs until the war finished. The low levelled agents didn't have another choice except following order.
Jon decide to leave now and prepare for the war. He can't just enter the war casually, he need to enter with style, like usual. That's why he'll prepare his entrance, and he already planned it.
Jon leave Mary Geoise and go to the sea below by walking down the cliff. He even wash himself on his way down with his water jutsu to make him look fresh. He also change his clothes and tie his long hair.
Jon now wear a sleeveless black shirt that have high collar, black shorts, ninja gloves & ninja shoes. He wear his belt and place his Dominators on each sides, also his ninja bag behind. He place his twin ninjatos on his back and tighten the belt.
~On New Marineford~
The Marines have gathered on this place for the war. The ones who participate are the elites only. Normal soldiers will only get themselves killed and won't even be able to buy time.
This execution also being broadcasted like the Summit War. They really like to show what will happen if someone oppose the WG & Marine. Well, this is also a chance to show that Marine & WG are still strong even without Shichibukai.
The event is broadcasted on nearby islands. Many people have come to these islands just to watch the execution. News media sent their journalists there, and the Underworld giants also sent their mens.
Soon, the ceremomy started, and the high rank officers enter the stage. The Vice Admirals followed by Rear Admirals walk to the front. However, not all Vice Admirals are there, Garp is not there, he stay in the fortress with Sengoku & Tsuru.
The 3 of them are not tasked to join the war, but the are here as back ups. With what happened on Mary Geoise, it's hard to get CP's assistance as back up now. Beside, Akainu didn't like using CP's help, so he's not complaining.
The problem is, the incident on Mary Geoise indicated that there is another side who find their chance in this war. There might be another sides too who will join the fray later, so they need to prepare for it.
The Admirals finally enter the stages and sit on their 'throne'. From the left to right are Fujitora, Kizaru and Ryokugyu. Their presences are very strong & make the marines feel like they won't lose.
Soon after that, Fleet Admiral Sakazuki come with 'Sabo' behind him. There are many guards that escort the prisoner to the platform. They arrive on the platform, and Sakazuki sit on his seat.
Then instead of the Fleet Admiral, Brannew take the mic. Sakazuki is not really a public talker, so he order Brannew to replace him. Beside, Sakazuki don't want to bother to talk nonsense and prefer action.
"Today, we will have war with one evil group of people, Revolutionary Army. We have captured their Chief Staff Officer, Sabo. And there is a possibility that Straw Hat pirates will join this war too."-Brannew
The lower rank marines & broadcast audience murmur among themselves. They don't know why Straw Hats will join the big war, again. However, they know if Straw Hats join the war, then the scale of this war will be a lot bigger, as the crew has become an official Emperor crew.
"As you know, 'Straw Hat' Luffy is 'Revolutionary' Dragon's son, but that's not the reason why he will come. It's because this man right here, is Straw Hat's & Fire Fist's sworn brother."-Brannew
The clueless audience are surprised by this revelation. Garp clench his fist, but he can keep his emotion. He's not that happy with this, as he finally found out that Sabo is alive, but then this happen.
Brannew start to tell the short story of what happen to the public. He also reveal Sabo's real identity as a noble from Goa Kingdom, and his relationship with the current King of Goa.
While Brannew narrate about Sabo's history, the Admirals are looking around. They keep their vigilance and wait for the enemies to come. But there's no sign at all from the enemies.
"What's the news from our scouts?"-Kizaru
"No movement at all, our scouts didn't find anything. We don't know where's the RA, but we know where the Straw Hats are. However, there's no sign of them leaving Wano Country."-Fujitora
"Maybe they won't come. I mean, Wano is a closed country, so news won't reach that place."-Rokugyu
"I doubt that, they have many allies that will inform them about this, so there must be something that we don't know here."-Fujitora
The Marine have sent scouts on many locations. They don't know where the RA is, so they sent their scouts around New Marineford and all exit from Fishman Island in New World.
They also stationed their scouts on Sabaody, because if RA want to come from Paradise, they'll need to coat their ship on Sabaody to pass Fishman Island, but there's really no sign of them.
This mean that either RA & Straw Hats really won't come, or they've moved undetected. Either way, the Marine need to keep their guard up for every situation. Then suddenly, a soldier get close to Sakazuki and tell him something.
"Si-sir, we lost contact with our scouts in the vicinity."-Soldier
"They've come huh? Which side?"-Sakazuki
"We don't know, we lost contact with every one of our scout teams. We don't even know which team that get defeated first."-Soldier
"Tch, at least we know that they've come now. Inform the Admirals!"-Sakazuki
"Y-yes!"-Soldier
The Admirals get the information and know it will start soon. Brannew also tell the soldiers to get ready. Now everyone know the war will start at any given time.
~On the sea~
Jon is on a small battleship with many marines tied in front of him. He find a small battleship and then he knock out every one of them with Conqueror haki. He tied them and interrogate them, that's when he knew that these guys are scouts.
They told him that there are many scout teams around the vicinity, so Jon need to deal with them. He make many wood clones & sent them to defeat all scout teams without alerting anyone. His clones defeat every team easily and didn't kill them, just knocking them out.
"They should get alerted by now, but it's fine. If i don't get rid of these scouts, they might attack from behind later. They're still marines and can be reinforcements if needed."-Jon
~Back on New Marineford~
The Marines are on their guard and ready to fight anytime. They wait for a rather long time, but there's no sign of enemies at all. Some even doubt that the enemies will come now.
"Just when will they arrive?"-Marine A
"Who knows, but they should've arrive any time now."-Marine B
"Will they even come, it's already half an hour past the execution schedule."-Marine C
"Why don't we just execute him?"-Marine B
"Stupid, if we kill him, our enemies will not have any reason to be worry. And we won't have anything to lure them out again."-Marine D
The Marines start to lose their patience now, even Sakazuki start to grumble.
"This is too long, just what are they waiting for?"-Sakazuki
"Fleet Admiral Sakazuki, there's something floating on the sea."-Brannew
"Hmm?"-Sakazuki
A small dot is seen on the sea, it must be an object at far distance. The Marines use their scopes to look at the object, because it can be a ship. However, it's not a ship, but a raft with a big square block of stone, and it move toward New Marineford.
"A block of stone?"-Marine H
"Yeah, and it is on a floating raft."-Marine J
"Wait! It's not just a stone, there's something on it."-Marine H
The Marines look carefully at the stone block and see there are 3 sculpture carved on it. The 3 sculpture have different poses, but they seem to be one person. If watched carefully, those 3 sculptures are Jon's figure.
The Marines are confused on what to do with the stone that keep moving to the island. The high ranked Marines raise their guard and try to use their observation haki on the stone block. However, they can't feel any presence in it or even anything except stone.
"That's really a stone, i thought there will be people inside."-Ryokugyu
"Yes, i don't feel anyone inside the stone, there's no room inside there to hide. However, i have an unsettling feeling about this."-Fujitora
"Should we destroy it, Sakazuki?"-Kizaru
"Shoot the cannons!"-Sakazuki
The marines operate the cannons on each side of fortress. They move it and aim at the stone block. Then they fire their cannons, but instead of shooting cannon balls, they explode.
*BOOM BOOM BOOM*
The explosion of those cannons alert everyone in there. They never thought that their cannons will malfunction at the same time.
"Ooh, is it malfunction? Strange~"-Kizaru
"No, this is not malfunction, it can't be malfunctions. The timing is too good for it, and we've checked all of our equipments."-Fujitora
"It seem someone hijacked our cannons under our nose. Hahahaha, they're good."-Ryokugyu
"Tch, check every cannons and repair the broken ones as fast as possible. We need those cannons, so at least make sure that we can use the ones that haven't explode."-Sakazuki
While they are busy with the cannons, the stone block finally reach the shore. Everyone stand back & get ready, but nothing happen even after they wait for minutes. Sakazuki order some people to check it and they come close to it.
"Hmm, it's just a stone block with human sculpture on it."-Marine K
"What's that hole on the top side?"-Marine L
The Marines want to check it, but suddenly the head of the middle sculpture move, and a sound come out from the hole.
"~AYAYA IYAI~ *music (Sfx: Awaken Pillar Men)*"
9 golden chains with spike heads come out from the sculpture and pierce the Marines near it. Then, the middle sculpture suddenly turn into human and jump out from the block. The man who appear is Jon, and now he crack his neck.
""WHAT?!""-Marines
"I pondered the strength of Marine after 2 years of training, but the lack of vigilance imply declination. Such opponenet mayn't stop the Will of Jon!"-Jon
Jon control his adamantine chains to strike the nearby Marines again before returning to the stone block.
"Jono! Awaken My Clones!"-Jon
Jon do the exact same thing with Wham and the 2 sculpture also start to move. Both are Jon's clones, and they break out from the stone. Then they pose with the music from tone dial intensified.
