VEER POV 1 : LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT

I saw her again. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her at the pub. She looked so beautiful in that black short dress. I could see the other guys looking at her and all I wanted to do was just punch that guys on their faces and hold her hand claiming she was mine. But it wasn't possible, was it? Atleast not for now.

When I first saw her it was at the airport. She was alone and trying her best to handle all the bags. Well there were a lot of bags. While we were waiting in the waiting area to collect our boarding pass I just couldn't take my eyes off her. I even said to myself that she is not even that good looking but then something about her was just so attractive

I watched her each and every movements, they were nothing special but I just enjoyed seeing her. It was about time but I was just not ready for her to leave. I also asked the desk to update her to the business class and tell her it's because of over bookings. They denied at first but then when I made the whole story about she being my girlfriend and I planning to surprise her, that's when they agreed to do so.

I could see the happiness on her face when she entered and sat on her seat. While she was adjusting she saw me staring at her and her eyes went wide and face flushed. She has really big eyes. I didn't take my eyes away but she did and then she just put her headphones and fell asleep. Not even a second glance? I was disappointed. My face is definitely worth second glace. As the plane landed I just rushed out as I had to go back to office immediately. I never thought I would meet her but I did. It must be destiny, maybe.

Ivy has mentioned her so many times and here she was, Rhea. I could see the shock in her eyes when she saw me and much more shocked when I said – "We meet again"

Oh my my she is daam hilarious but she really looked cute when she is shocked. I met Krutik, quite a nice kind of guy. I just couldn't take my eyes off her all the time and I saw her stealing glace at me but whenever our eyes meet she would just look away.

We went inside and found our booth but I couldn't see Krutik and Rhea. They came immediately after a minute, Krutik holding Rhea's hand. Honestly I was jealous, very much to be honest. As soon as I and Ivy noticed Rhea just pulled her hand and her eyes immediately finding mine. I just wished that my face did not sell me out. I could see her anger when Ivy teased her.

Later both Ivy and Rhea went to dance and I and Krutik sat in the booth talking. I made sure to keep an eye on where they were just in case some creep tried something and I noticed Krutik doing the same. He did care a lot about her, didn't he?

We started by talking about some finance and job things but then I coldn't tolerate so I just asked changing the subject.

"So, you and Rhea hunhh?"

"I and Rhea?" Krutik said confused. Comeon you don't have to pretend

"You are dating?" I said trying to be more clear

"Ohhh no no no… not at all" he said with a smile

"So? You like her?" I asked

"ofcourse" he said

Ofcourse? Seriuously? What's so ofcourse about it?

"Ohh. So when are you planning to confess?" I said trying my best not to sound jealous

With a shocked expression he said "Confess? Ohhh no no…" and that's when Rhea came all exhausted and sat beside Krutik. BESIDE KRUTIK. They know each other very well and you can tell that by being around them.

After a few drinks we left the club. We all were pretty drunk, Ivy more than anyone. As Rhea was trying her best to handle Ivy she asked me - "So veer where do you stay? Should I drop you somewhere?"

This was the first time she actually talked to me. She had been either very quiet or talked to everyone accept me, she even managed to talk to a complete strangers which means she is definitely not the introvert type but she did not talk to me. I was so mad about that but I don't think anyone can be mad at her for too long.

"Oh I live a little far…Powai… would take a lot of time to reach there… Was thinking of taking a cab" – I said

"Powai is quite far from here. Why don't you just crash at our place today? Anyways tomorrow is Sunday. If you don't mind ofcourse" Krutik offered.

Honestly, he really is a nice guy and if he wasn't my competition we could be best friends.

I wasn't sure before but somehow, Rhea managed to make me agree to go with them with just 3 words.

We reached home and went straight to bed. I already knew they all were roommates as Ivy mentioned it before. Krutik gave me some of his pajamas.
