VEER'S POV 2 : NEW FRIENDS

The next Morning I got up and saw Krutik still sleeping so I quietly went outside. As I went out I saw Rhea sitting in the balcony sipping a cup of coffee while smiling at the phone. She has the most beautiful smile I have seen till date and I would just love to wake up to this smile everyday. I went a little near and said - "Smile looks great on you"

I think she was shocked which made her spill some coffee over her

"Ohh God. You scared the hell out of me" she tried to say it angrily but it came out all cute which made me laugh. I did apologize but this just made her angrier. Everything I said to make her laugh turned her grumpier which made me think that she definitely would be hungry beacause even my sister is grumpier in the morning if she has not eaten anything. She definetly was hungry but she was too tired to even get up.

I offered to cook and she agreed but she wouldn't get up from her place. Okay!! so she is a lazy type so I said –

"Get up you lazy girl…. Or do you want me to carry you" she was so shocked and when I took a step forward she just jumped out of the chair and ran away like a cute little rabbit.

I cooked her some food while she sat on the counter giving me directions. I really loved that feeling. I just love each and every moment with her. While having breakfast we had some of our common finance talk and she was the one who did maximum talking and whatever she talked about she talked-about it so passionately. I could literally see the star twinkling in her eyes

I am not sure that what suddenly got into me that I said this out loud - "Soo… how did you all end up living together?"

I already knew the story but yet I had to hear what she had to say, what was her take. She tried avoiding the question but I was quite persistent so she gave in and I was so happy when she said that she considered Krutik just a friend. It might be a lie but I was still very happy about that lie.

"Thank God, Means I do have a chance" I said to tease her and she replied saying - "No one has a chance. You can do better than this. I believe in you"

Why would she even say that? Have I done something that made her feel that I think little of her in anyways? Is my story going to end before it even started? I said to myself - 'no no don't think like that maybe she was talking about my flirting skills, but they are great too, anyways lets not draw any conclusion'

I tried to ask her about it but we were interrupted by Krutik and then she just immediately changed the subject. I did not want to make her feel uncomfortable so I didn't push it any further. She wanted to go to some restaurant she found on insta , some time back she wouldn't even get up and now she wants to go to a restaurant, great. I teased her for that and she gave me THE LOOK and I immediately knew I had to shutup.

She than just ran into her room while I kept looking at her smiling

"What's up with her today?" Krutik said bringing my attention to him

"Why?" I said

"Ammm... She was way to quite yesterday, not her and she is way to moody yet cheerful again not her. I am all weirded out."

"So whats she like normally" I asked wanting to know more about her.

"She is very collected, mature, cheerful - yes but yet its different, Its just this feeling I am not sure I will be able to explain" he said like he is thinking really hard.

"hmmm. Just like you" I said trying to understand his words

"Yeahh more or less. You like her, don't you?" Krutik said which scared the hell out of me.

"ahh.. mee... ummm" I wasn't sure what to say

- "Don't you like her? don't you dare deny, you said so yesterday"

Krutik laughed at that comment and said - "Well I do like her but I don't LIKE her like that. I mean she is….. how should I put it?... she is like a family now. She means a lot to me honestly she was there was me like no one else have ever been, not even my own family and I love her but like a best friend or a big brother. I am protective about her in many ways but no romantic feelings involved I promise"

"Ohhh" I was happy not only because I had no competitor but also because Rhea has some great people around her.

"Coming back to you, you did not say no means it's a yes... hmmm interesting.... I did feel something between you two since yesterday but now its confirmed" Krutik said like he has solved a case

"Okay I won't lie, yes I like her, honestly more than like her but I don't think she does" I said in a sad voice

"Well... I can't help you here because I am going through a same problem. I can just empathize" Krutik said making a crying face.

"means?" and before I could ask anything we heard some noises from the room and we ran to Rhea and Ivy's room
