Melvin decided to ask Emmett himself, but now was not that time. His company was facing problems. He had to solve them first.

So he spoke to lighten the atmosphere.

"Why don't we go down and visit the departments? We will hand over the duties today and start with the plan."

Jennifer was secretly grateful towards Melvin. She was the first one to step out of the room.

Emmett gave his friend a deathly glare, before he went out. His look itself conveyed what he wanted to say, 'Be away from her. She is mine.'

Melvin was secretly amused. His friend was surely possessive. And was also a jealous type. He would love to tease him.

The three of them visited different departments and Melvin personally handed over extra work to the students.

Ava was happy seeing Melvin, but as it was her working time, she politely greeted him, "Good morning CEO."

Late at night, around 10pm, everyone gathered in the dining room for dinner. They were in their work uniform, which was provided by the company.

They were very hungry as they worked for extra time today. But the University was generous and they had arranged delicious dinner for all. Also there were juices, that would replenish their energy.

Jennifer and Ava enjoyed their food. But Emmett wad still in a bad mood because Jennifer was avoiding him.

Travis who sat in a corner felt pity for his boss.

His future mistress was really a tough lady. His boss needed to tame her.

But here, it was opposite, his boss got tamed by her.

Mary was surprised when her husband arrived without any prior notice.

She was so happy that she cried for half an hour. Her husband, being in army would always go on missions and she couldn't predict if he would come home or not. And now her son also joined the army.

She was very depressed at the thought. She was usually alone at home, as Jennifer took classes and was would go out of the country very oftenly.

"You came alone? Where is my son?" Mary started complaining. She hadn't seen her child for five years now. She missed him dearly. He was called Ron at home, but his name was Ronald Diaz.

Her husband consoled her, "Mary, he would come soon. I told you he would come home in Christmas. Just few months more."

He gently kissed her on her forehead.

"Samuel I miss him a lot. I haven't seen him for whole five years now." She whined in his arms.

"It goes same for me. I also meet Jennifer very rarely. She is also my child, I also miss her a lot. She is mostly on a business trip whenever I come back home and now is also the same."

Mary pouted, which looked very childish, "Don't tell me you have become a child after missing me for days, huh? What's with the pout?" Samuel poked her forehead.

Mary laughed heartily, tears welled up in her eyes, she missed her husband a lot.

When she first married him, she knew that it would be difficult for her, as she would often be alone at home. But she loved him dearly, so she married him without any complaints.

Who knew that she would just be able to see her husband probably 15 days in a year. Sometimes he may not come home at all.

Mary then suddenly remembered something, "It's time for Jennifer to get a boyfriend. You should talk with her. She is growing beautiful day by day and her suitors must have increased, but that girl is not getting herself a boyfriend."

Then suddenly her mood dampened, "Her features are no longer simple, she is getting beautiful. What would happen if..."

She didn't finish her sentence but Samuel stopped her, "Believe me nothing would happen. She is our daughter. I will take care of her and also I will talk with her once she comes back, you don't have to worry."

How could she not worry because Jennifer was....

Mary sighed heavily. She shouldn't worry on that matter.

She would let Jennifer's destiny decide her future.
