HE TOOK A CLOSER LOOK AT HER AND SAW HER FROWNING

Jennifer stared at the man who had not touched his food for five minutes since it was served.

After she had casually commented that she was hungry he had ordered the hotel staff to send them French bread, Jam and Oeufs cocotte and two glasses of milk.

It was coincidental for both of them that they preferred drinking milk in the morning.

While having a piece of the French bread Jennifer again looked at the man who still hadn't touched anything.

'What is he daydreaming? Or he didn't like the breakfast?'

Shrugging, she decided to continue eating. Why should she care about him? He was the one who had ordered breakfast.

She was hungry due to the events yesterday. She hadn't eaten her dinner last night and it was the same case for Emmett.

After he saw Jennifer sleeping peacefully he decided to end it for the day.

He was also not feeling hungry so he just proceeded to sleep for that night.

But who knew that the sleep he wanted would never be granted.

Since the breakfast had arrived he had seen Jennifer drinking water a lot of time. She had even finished the half litre bottle in the span of twenty minutes.

He hadn't asked her why she did so but he was intrigued by her habit.

His comment on bringing more water with him whenever they would be together in the future may sound stupid and a bit childish but he had a reason behind this. It was all because of yesterday night.

And seeing how she drank the water now reminded him of the events that happened last night on the bed they had slept.

Flashback,

When he had layed beside her and was going to close his eyes to sleep, he had felt the girl moving a little.

He took a closer look at her and saw her frowning.

She was also muttering something.

First he had ignored her thinking she was again dreaming about him.

But after few minutes when he looked back at her, she still had the frown on her face and continued murmuring something.

Hence he shifted closer to her to hear what she was murmuring about.

"Water....water."

Finally after hearing her from close did he understood that she was asking for water.

Getting up from the bed he took a bottle which was on the bedside table. He went near her side as he tried to wake her up.

But she was sleeping like a log and wasn't waking even after few tries.

Hence Emmett decided to feed the water to her. Opening the cap he gently held her head as he lowered the bottle's opening towards her mouth.

He whispered slowly, "Good girl. Drink the water now."

But Jennifer wasn't even opening her mouth which resulted in the water to flow down her chin and it ended up wetting her jacket.

He once again tried but the result was same.

Hence he decided to sit and feed her water.

If he had wanted, he would have left her thirsty. But he deeply cared about her so he had decided to feed the water to her.

Sitting in the little space on her side of the bed, he gently put her head on his thigh as he pinched her chin to open her mouth.
