The ward

I suddenly ran towards the right side of the bed and hid under the bed. I saw the man's boots in front of me. A few minutes later, I heard the door being flung open. Then I heard voices. “Did you give them what Dr. Layton asked you to give them?” The woman exclaimed. I was just hearing the woman's voice but could not see her. The man who is standing in front of me started talking. “I gave them medicine, but I am afraid most of patients did not make it.” I felt sadness in his voice.

Then I heard footsteps that were coming towards the man who was standing in front of me. When she reached the bed where I was hiding, she started talking. “Why are you sad?” the woman asked while embracing him. “What are you doing? If anyone sees us together, they will get mad,” the man said while walking away. The woman walked after him. “Fine, tell me why you are sad." The woman asked again.
