I am sick because I am a genius!!!

Ray's POV

Liza has informed me that I am to start a training regiment soon tomorrow. My head has been a little heavy today. I woke up with a mild headache, but I was not alarmed by it. I assumed it must be fatigue from me over stretching my small body so I decided to take a day off my normal routine, but as the day continued the head ache seemed to get even stronger. My head seemed to be a battle field. I could not even think clearly. The pain was to much. This being the case I asked Liza why my head was aching. She hesitated in giving me an answer so I persisted in asking the same question. The situation in my body seemed to escalate even further.

I was now feeling extremely hot. I was sweating profusely like one whose at a sonar. The pain was now to much. I asked Liza why this was happening. She then decided to give me an answer. It seems the body I was in had started to deteriorate. Liza explained that I myself had become a very powerful entity and the body I was using could not handle the stress I was giving it. She explained that the amount of energy the body was using in repair of it cells was extremely high. This is because the amount of energy flowing through the body was causing a lot of stress on the the body causing many cells in the body to die faster than normal cells would. Liza further went and explained that she had been purposefully speeding up the process of cell division so as to produce enough cells to replace those lost in containing the energy I was emitting. She said this could have sustained my life more if the amount of energy I used in the thought process was not so high. She explained that the inhabitation of Gene's mind and Liza's core was using too much energy that the small body could not produce enough to sustain out existence thus the body being overworked had started deteriorating. She further said the release of mana from my body seems to further speed up the process of deterioration. The huge amount of mana I released at once was like a catalyst to the process of deterioration.

I asked her how I could stop the deterioration. She said it could be stopped if the the body could produce enough amount of energy to sustain Gene's thought process Liza's existence and contain Gene's electron energy, together with Gene's Mana. She finally ended by saying this could be achieved if the lifespan of the cells of the body could be returned back to normal or if the amount energy needed to produce the cells being produced could be normalized .

Harold's POV

When we heard a scream coming from the direction of Prince Ray's chambers. Crystal bolted to go and see the problem. I also followed her. When we arrived Prince Ray seemed to be having a seizure. He was emitting such heat I could feel it just by being at his proximity. I could not comprehend what was happening to him. Crystal on seeing Ray's state collapsed. I quickly called for a healer to come and care for Ray and Crystal. When the healer arrived he prepared himself and got straight to action. He used a type of recovery magic known as body diagnosis. This a type of magic used to Identify the problem one's body is going through. It took about ten minutes for the healer to find the problem. He said that Ray's body was dying since most of rays body parts looked like they were shutting down. He then said he could not help Ray since he has never seen such a case before. He ended by saying maybe Ray had been put under a hex by a witch. All he could do for Ray was to buy him time of at most one month by doing a recovery magic called regeneration. He performed the spell on Ray. Ray seemed to become calm bit but he remained unconscious. The healer then went on to Crystal. Crystal after being healed regain consciousness. She immediately ran to Ray's said. She truly loves the child.

I then called in all the staff and told them of the problem. I was to come up with a way to heal Ray in less than a month or He would perish. The members of the special unit I created offered to find a cure to Ray's mysterious illness. I was touched by their thoughtfulness. We only had less then one month to save Ray. I immediately prepared to leave with the members of that special unit. We were to go for an expedition to find a cure to heal Ray's condition.

Maggie's POV

The Lord's son has fallen ill with mysterious illness that no one knows. We are preparing for departure. We will be departing with the aim of finding a cure to the illness which has befallen the lords child. The lord has told us that we are to bring back a cure before the months end. I had a thought of how we could save Mr Harold's from a legend I read in a book. The legend says that deep in the Forest of Monsters their is a tall mountain. In that mountain their resides a Phoenix. A Phoenix is an immortal being that usually rises from its ashes when it dies. It said that the feather of Phoenix is able to cure any illness. I told this to Mr Harold who then told the others of it. It was then decided we will leave at dawn to go to the deep parts of the Forest. Although Mr Harold had doubts about the legend, he decided to chase after it since it was the only solution that had seem to present itself. He had no choice but to follow the legend hoping i would be able to save Ray his son.
