Chapter 58

(A/N Notes: … Geez, my mind has been going all over the place, but none of them actually helped me write, and when I noticed it was already Saturday

But I got three chapters on time, so it's already a good start)

It was a Sunday morning, and Yuriko with the help of her mother and Takeru's mother, they were cleaning her apartment, since it wasn't too big, and it didn't have many things occupying space, the cleaning was finished quickly due to the presence of three people

But Yuriko felt like something was missing, but she couldn't get a gist of what she was missing or forgetting. Meanwhile, Kanga and Emily were talking to each other

Yuriko whimpered at hearing that since even though she and Takeru were dating for about three months now, they never really asked what each of them liked, and on the few occasions that they ask each, they just accepted and enjoyed their time together

"Then why don't you ask him?"

"I want to surprise him"

"Now that's troublesome... Well, Takkun likes games, manga, anime, but these you have to ask which ones he wants or likes... The only thing I can imagine that he might like might be a mask since there was a time his siblings and friends had some influence on him, though I don't know if he's still into masks"

"I don't think masks are a good option"

Emily and Yuriko kept thinking when Kaga gave her opinion

"How about rings?"

" "Rings?" "

"Yes, rings. After all, you two will be getting married anyway, so you can buy engagement rings for you and Takeru, then present to him while kneeling down and asking 'Will you marry me?' on his birthday"

Kaga clapped her hands together

"Let's stop talking and get into action. Yu-chan needs to buy a present for Takeru-kun, so let's go shopping together and search for something that he would like"

Takeru immediately hanged up at hearing that voice, then a short while after, his phone rang again. This time Takeru was more reluctant to answer the phone, but he still answered

"Yes?"

"Why did you hanged up on my face, Take!?"

"Sorry, it was by reflex"

"Hey, am I that repulsive!?"

"No, you're not. You're just a pain in the ass"

"That's the same thing!"

"So what're you calling me for of all times?"

"Isn't it obvious? Me and the boys are going to commemorate your birthday since we won't be able to next weekend"

"I'm happy by your considerations, but I will bluntly refuse"

"Why?"

"We're in front of your apartment's front door at this very moment"

Takeru made a face full of despair when he heard his old friend saying that, then he heard the doorbell ringing. Takeru felt as if his and the room's temperature fell, as he stiffly turned to look at the front door

"C'mon, Take. Are you going to leave us waiting-"

Takeru hanged up the phone, as his face appeared to be on the verge of crying out of despair

"... *Deeply breathes in* Alright, I can do it"

Takeru steeled himself for facing his old school friends

"I can fucking do this!"

He walked towards the front door and was about to open it, but then he stopped. And fell on his fours

"I can't do it!!!"

The other side of the front door

Four guys were standing in front of Takeru's apartment front door, staring at the door

"... I guess, he faltered just before opening the door"

"Yeah, I think so too"

"Me three"

"Me four"

"Should we use that?"

The four guys looked at each other and thought about the group leader suggestion

"Alright, then..."

The leader, Okamura Kenzo approached the door and said

"I dare you to open this door, Take"

"..."

Then the door was open almost immediately after, and the one who opened it, had an angry face

"... Damnit!!!"

Takeru once again let his pride take the best of him, when he looked in front of him, he could see Kenzo and his other friends from his old school all standing beside each other smiling, and as always the four were still handsome as ever

"... I hate you all"

Takeru and the boys were finally together at last, and without any way to escape, Takeru had to change to some outing clothes and get dragged around by his friends
