67 Chapter 59

(A/N Notes: Sorry about this chapter, I ended up losing steam halfway through, so basically, the last half is literally force bruted in here, so sorry for any loss of quality during the chapter)

"... I hate you all"

Takeru was looking at his old school friends standing in front of this apartment front door

"Haa... Wait for a bit, I'll go change into some outing clothes"

"Actually, can we come inside too? We want to change to our uniforms since the Revengers are finally assembled once again"

<GAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!> "..."

Takeru took critical mental damage at hearing the name that Kenzo and the boys had given to the group

"... Sure, come in"

Takeru thought about his situation and he came with the only good answer to his predicament, just have his friends be chunni and dress up like them to avoid being found out by anyone from his current school

"Thanks, Take"

The boys came inside Takeru's apartment, once the door was closed, they put their bags on the floor and began changing into their true selves, while Takeru went into his room to change clothes

"..."

Takeru searched through his closet for the old clothes that he used to wear whenever he went to places with the boys, more often than not to only take some photos while doing cool poses, and he found the ones that he had during the school festival

"..." <If only I hadn't used these during the school festival..."

He continued searching as he knew that he had another set of chunni looking clothes hidden somewhere in his closet, and he found it

"Knew it... Man, this one is nostalgic"

He picked up a set of clothes with black, white, and red colors that resembled a kimono, but that was easier to dress and maintain, then he picked up a pair of black scoop gloves and socks, then finally he was searching in his drawers for the mask he had in mind

"No, no, no... This one"

He picked up a full-face kitsune mask and wore it to see if still fitted, and for his luck it did. So he changed into the clothes he had picked up and put on his mask to make completely sure no one in his school would recognize him, since he had also recently used dyed his hair, his conspicuous streak of red hair was also hidden

Confident on his preparations that his figure was well hidden, he left his room

"I'm ready, what about-"

Kenzo and the boys were already into their chunni forms and Jojo posing

"Alright, Kitsune is finally here! Let's go!"

And the four formed a line and Jojo posed again

"..." <I'm already regretting all of this>

Takeru already felt like giving up before even starting, but Kenzo grabbed him and pulled him out of the apartment. Takeru made sure to take everything he might need with him as he was forced to go outside with his old school chunni friends

Meanwhile

"Haa..."

Yuriko was feeling dejected as she sat down and had her face lying on a table

"Still depressed that you didn't manage to find anything for Takeru-kun yet?"

Yuriko's mother asked her as she drank a bubble tea

"Yes..."

"Well, then I supposed you should offer you bo-"

"No"

"If you had said yes, it would've saved you a lot of trouble"

"..."

Yuriko couldn't say anything back, because her mother was right, it would've saved her a lot of trouble

"Mommy those guys are saying some weird stuff"

"Ugh. Don't look at them, son. I don't you to be influenced by... OH GOD NO"

"T is too late, moth'r. I has't seen ev'rything" (Shakespearean accent)

"..."

Yuriko looked at the scene of a mother's child turning into a chunni after a group of five boys all dressed in very eye-catching costumes and Jojo posing passed by them

"Hm?"

For a moment she felt that the boy wearing the kitsune mask had looked right towards her, but when she looked at the group again she saw the kitsune masked boy making a gesture as if he was fed up with his friends' act.

"*Sigh* *Gets up* Alright, time to continue searching for a present for Takeru"

Yuriko fired herself up again and went back on searching for a present for Takeru

Rewind time a little

Takeru and the boys were now at the shopping district, so far they have only walked

"So? What purpose did we come here for, Kenzo?"

"Please, call me Dark Knight! *Jojo poses* Kitsune"

"... Haa... So why did we came here for... Dark Knight?"

"I have no idea"

"... I should've known... Hm?"

When Takeru looked to the side, he noticed a handsome girl with beautiful grey hair sitting on one of the bubble tea stands tables, it was Yuriko

"!?" <Why is she here!?>

Then he noticed that she ended up looking in his direction, so he averted his eyes and looked back to his old school friends, who were busy being chunni, and turning a little kid chunni as well

"... *Sigh* Let's get moving, since you guys are here for my birthday, I'm going to make sure to empty your wallets"

" " " "Hm?" " " "

At hearing that the boys looked at Takeru with faces filled with despair

"That's right, I'm going to have you guys pay for everything that I want today"

And so, Takeru went on a useless stuff shopping spree just because he was feeling salty as he dragged his old school friends with him to pay for his stuff

Later

"Kukukuku..."

Takeru was looking at his spoils of war, a bunch of expensive anime related stuff

<Now, where should I go next?>

Takeru thought as he walked, then when he was about to turn in an intersection, a very familiar grey-haired girl appeared right in front of him from the intersection

"Woah!"

"Ah! I'm sorry, are you okay?"

"Yes, we didn't stumble on each anyway" <... THIS IS BAD!!!>

This was the worst situation for Takeru in his current situation

"What's wrong Yuriko-chan? Hm? Ta-"

"..." *Death glares at his mom*

That got worse when his mother appeared behind Yuriko, and when she was about to call him by his family nickname, he stopped her by showing a lot of killing intent towards her, which managed to make her stop talking in the nick of time

"Is something wrong?"

"Ah! No, it's nothing, now if you excuse me. I'll be taking my leave"

"Hm? ! Do you also like this anime?"

"... Yes..."

When Takeru tried to leave, Yuriko once again stopped him, when she noticed one of the merchandise he had bought

"Then could you please give me some advice on what to buy for my boyfriend's birthday present?"

"..." <... Why're you so cute!?> "I'm sure, he'll like anything you buy for him. But if you're undecided, why don't you buy something he might use, like a pair of glasses?"

"I see... That's an option as well, thank you for your help"

"You're welcome, Yuriko"

"Ah..."

"Eh?..."

... It was on this moment that Takeru knew, he fucked up

"Fuck..."

"... Takeru? Is that you?"

"... No?..."

Takeru was out of ideas of how to escape that situation

"Hey, Take. What're you doin'?... Woah... H, hey there"

Kenzo called Takeru by his shortened name and then noticed Yuriko, making him get flustered

"By Take, do you possibly mean Takeru?"

"Y, yes, that's right, his name is Tanaka Takeru. So we call him Take"

"Oh... I didn't know, you liked this sort of stuff Takeru, but that makes you even cuter"

" " " "Huh?!" " " "

When Takeru's old school friends heard Yuriko saying that they got surprised

"H, hey... Are you possibly acquainted with Take?"

"Yes, I am Nanami Yuriko. Takeru's girlfriend"

" " " "EEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHH!?" " " "

His old school friends got all shocked at the fact Takeru was dating such a beautiful girl. And right now, he wasn't doing anything, because he was dying of embarrassment

"..." *Too embarrassed to say or do anything to stop them from saying more stuff about him*

And he wasn't dying of more embarrassment because his mask was hiding his blushing face
