After coming to this world I was greeted by those soldiers and prisoners. Truthfully after spending so many days in the wilderness as a true loner, I started to feel that this world has a serious population deficiency. But after coming inside the town's central office I was greeted by something that totally shattered my expectations.

As there was so much hustle and bustle and so many overlapping noises of people conversing that for a brief period of time I totally forgot what I actually came here for.

As I looked around for few more seconds, I noticed that one of the person in brown and white uniform was coming towards me.

"Hello sir, how may I help you?"

"Ummm…uh I was given this recommendation letter from the knight who guards the door, I was instructed to come here."

"I see then please show me the letter."

As I showed him the letter he carefully read it and then looked at me and said-

"I see, you are here for the learning program. I understand, this is a program where people are taught how to read and write. This program happens in the town monastery and the classes will start in few days and with a regular schedule."

After getting more information about the program I was satisfied.

"Um do this program charge any service fees."

"No, no they are completely free."

"Really."

I was honestly surprise hearing that it was a free service.

"How is it a free service?"

"Oh, the service was started by the first prince of our kingdom, Dominic Valentine Cetron. It was a program he started so everyone will become literate. He is a very amazing person right. He also...."

'Huuuh, maybe I shouldn't have asked the question. This guy looks like a fanatic and singing praises of the prince non-stop.'

And just like that I was bored to death by his endless praises.

"Huuuuh, that guy was super chatty."

As I came out. I decided to roam around a little bit and explore the town a little more. I was honestly pleased after seeing a place where there are so many people.

"Come to think of it Gerard and Natasha said they are going to the mercenary guild. Should I go there as well?"

After some time thinking about it I naturally dropped the idea. Why? It's because I am not very confident going there when I don't even know how to read and write. Ren told me that in order to become a mercenary one needs 5 gold coins and should fill up a form with basic information.

"Honestly there are very less things I can do."

As I went to the monastery where this learning program was going to held I was greeted by an old lady in white robe.

"Good afternoon, how may I help you?"

After organizing my thoughts I told her about the program to which see simply nodded and said

"I understand the classes will start three days from now. However if you want you can still join us and attend the early classes."

"Early classes?"

"We only teach basics of basics in the early classes. The main classes will start from three days from now. In the early classes we just tell them about different things."

"Like."

"Synonyms, male – female gender names, antonyms etc."

"I see, I wish to attend these early classes as well. If you don't mind."

"I see. But fist please come here."

After guiding by deeper into the monastery. She pointed at a parchment of paper and said.

"I will ask about your personal details and fill them for you. In return please answer all my questions honestly."

After few minutes long session I asked another question.

"Umm I also don't know how to count. And neither do I know how to do calculation."

"Oh, please don't worry about that we will include that in the class schedule as well."

"I understand. Thank you."
