The half hidden part of the past 2

At six an accident occurred, a blessing or curse because after the accident an angel appeared, her smiling at him while's hiding behind her mom was hope to him,

He met the most beautiful girl he would ever see at that age (in his eyes).

When he heard she was going to stay with them, he found peace. This little girl became his friend and she became his shield every time his stepmother wanted to abuse him or find a reason to.

The girl asked why he's always alone and he told her the story of his mother's death and she told him it was not his fault, at that moment he fell in love (even though he didn't know at that time but he felt something special for her). She was the only one who didn't blame him, he cried and she hugged him, peace he felt in her embrace.

She was the angel his mom maybe sent to him, she was always there for him but something happened.

He forgot that even shields gets scratches and breaks of pain as they protect, he forgot that shields needs someone to hold in-order to perform its duties otherwise it becomes useless because it can't just protect when the person doesn't need it,

He forgot that even shields needs to be moved away even for a little while to take a breather while the other person fights.

Rìan failed to protect his shield, so it couldn't be kept for long.

At eight the little girl followed him outside when he went for his mom's necklace, his stepmother threw away, they were kidnapped. They were locked inside a van and the kidnappers were outside and one was on call

"I am scared, I am really afraid..." rìan said

The little girl saw how scared he was and he was panicking, so she tried to look for a way out just then she heard

"Which one is the rich man's child?" One of the kidnappers asked

Knowing they didn't know

"Listen, I will tell them I am your father's child, just agree and they will let you go, when you get home tell them about me and your father and my mom will get me out of here. Please when it happens hurry even I am a child and I get scared "

That was the agreement and indeed they let him go.

When he got home he rushed to the girls mom but was not home so he went to his stepmother, he pleaded with her but she didn't help him, his father was in the study room but he was too scared to go inside and talk to him. He stood outside the study room crying and fidgeting for hours at least he would have gathered the courage if his father was to come outside but it took him hours, just then the little girls mom ran towards the study room shouting and looking for her daughter, his father came out and the girls mom asked for his help

"Where do you think she went?"

"I don't know, I went to the market and she's no where"

Rìan told them

"And you waited for hours to tell me!!!! You are hopeless" his father said as he called the police

A few minutes they received a call that she was in the hospital, she was left fighting for her life when they realized the rich man's child is a he not a she.

Her mom pleaded for her to stay away from the boy if not for anything she being in the hospital should always be a reminder of who she was.

And she stayed away

"I am sorry, please forgive me " was the constant apologies from him to the girl but she stayed further away.
