Waking up

"Ughhh my head!" Shin woke up to a painful headache. After a few minutes, it managed to go away. He then opened his eyes to see a room he was not familiar with

"Where am I?"

He looked around to see Defibrillators, monitors, surgical tables, and many other types of equipment. that's when it hit him that he was in a hospital room!

"How long was I out?" That was the main question he had. He could have been only out for a few hours. He looked to the window to see it was still bright and sunny outside. That only supported his theory that he wasn't out for long

As he started thinking more, the door opened to a nurse walking into the room. She was writing something on her clipboard. When she looked up to see Shin fully awake her eyes were filled with surprise. "It seems your finally awake Mr.Son! How are you feeling? any pain of some sort?

Shin just shook his head "No I feel completely fine, just a little bit tired that's all"

"That's good to hear. Just give me a minute I'll go get the doctor for you. He's been waiting for you to wake up" She then

Shin just took a deep breath and started to concentrate. He felt more powerful than ever before. It must have been due to being the first Zenki he ever had before. He felt he could have soloed the Nomu without the use of the Kaioken. After a few minutes, the door opened to the doctorer walking in. He took a seat and sat down right next to Shin

"It's good to see you finally awake Shin. You gave a lot of people a scare when they first saw you. You must be wondering what during the time you were asleep? All of your questions will be answered in due time. But for now, let's get the most important things out of the way, shall we?

Shin shook his head in agreement. He wanted to know everything that happened

The doctor continued talking "you must be confused by how long you been out yes? well, you have been asleep for 72 hours"

"THREE DAYS!?"

Then Shin started freaking out and the doctor instantly began to calm him down "It's alright Shin! Your brother and all of your friends are fine! there's nothing to worry about"

Shin then slowly calmed down. reassured that Goku, Momo, Mina, and the rest were completely all right. The doctor began where he left off and pulled two pictures.

"These two you see are your X-rays. These two show your muscle tissues and your bones. You somehow managed to rip and break every single tissue and bone in your body!. and if that wasn't enough" he pulled out the third picture "These are the injures you sustained. there are so many to count but the most serious ones are located near your lungs, neck, and most importantly your heart! Your lucky to even be alive. I don't know whether it's just a stroke of luck or your tenacity that saved you"

"Hehe, our resilience runs in the family"

"Don't I know that! you are the grandson of Gohan after all"

Shin didn't respond and let the doctor continue talking. He's probably the one that takes care of Grampa Gohan. The doctor just told Shin that he needs to rest for a couple of days and not do anything strenuous. He would have prescribed medications but due to Shin's uncanny fast healing, He didn't get any

"I will contact the school in which they'll contact your friends and family. They should be coming in a few hours since it's still 9 AM. You just rest and I will get the nurse to bring you some food." The doctor then left the room

Shin just laid back and stared out the window while reminiscing fight. It was the first time in his life he felt such excitement. it was hidden in the seriousness of the situation but he loved it. the vibration on contact, the battle rush flowing through his veins, all of it excited him to no end. He wouldn't have got that In his last life. He didn't care for it anymore! The Shin of that world is long dead and in his place is Son Shin, the Saiyan! He will live his life to the fullest and he couldn't wait to fight like that again!

"AHHHHH" A man whose hair reached all the way to his knees, screamed in pain as he flew back into a rock wall

"HAAAA! pathetic Raditz! can't even beat a Saibamen" The bald man said as he destroyed the Saibamen"

"Why do we even keep a low-class warrior like you around? So pathetic it makes me sick!" Said the Prince of all Saiyans. He was complementing to destroy him even if he is another Saiyan like him

"Raditz, didn't you say you have two little brothers? Asked Nappa. he wanted to know if there were any more Saiyans left alive. He also needed a new punching bag as beating up the weakling Raditz was getting old

Raditz weakly got out of the rock wall then started talking " I do, two twin brothers. my mother carried them to a planet with a low power level called earth. She did this right after planet Vegeta was destroyed, she was labeled as a traitor to the Frieza Force was hunted down.

Nappa then looked over to Vegeta. He really didn't care for the death of a low-class warrior "Vegeta, why don't we get them to join us!? We could make them do all the work and we just take the credit or if they're not good enough, I could use some new punching bags"

Vegeta just looked at Nappa as if he said something unbelievable "I can't believe you actually said something smart for once" He then looked over to Raditz "Think of this as a test, if you can bring them back then you can stay. If you can't then you'll either die or get lost. We still win in the end. SO GET GOING! AND DON'T COME UNTIL YOU DO!

Raditz immediately ran into his pod and started making his way to Earth. The journey would take him 4 months from where they are to reach earth.

"I finally get to see you two again"

"Kakarot, Mass"

Hey guys! it's me ya boy...Overload man! (I hate myself for writing that)

Before I get on topic, I want to say thank you for reading The Saiyan Among Heroes! I didn't think it get this far honestly. One day I decided to say fuck it and write a fan-fic and here we are. Thank you for sticking around after all the terrible grammar mistakes(Pretty sure there are some mistakes here too) I can't wait to write more for you guys and continue the story about Shin. I'm honestly starting like writing

I'm writing this because I'm thinking of moving this to fan-fiction where it belongs. when I selecting the options in the novel information I accidentally picked novel instead of fan-fic and that's why I'm here typing this

I want to leave it up to you guys. If you want me to leave it like this, I'm all down for it and I'll continue writing like before. If you want me to put it in fan-fic, then it shall be. I might even change the name of the title and the picture for it. if it does happen then feel free to give me some suggestions for the new title.
