4. 4 Town

One month had passed and Victor had already been discharged. I skipped school sometimes to stay with him while he was in the hospital. Nothing changed between Victor and I,we were still good friends. Victor's mom warned him to stay away from me to avoid such incident happening again. Victor kept persuading me to agree to his proposal to be his girlfriend . I kept turning him down even if, I did want to date him but it was for his own good,I didn't want any trouble.

It was a Monday, lectures was going on. School was hectic, we had practicals and we were grouped. Victor always wanted me in his group . It was all fun because everyone loved practicals. There was a show happening in school at evening "The 4 town!!!" Gosh that was one of the most anticipated shows in school. I wished I could make it but I zeroed my mind on going there because, my parents wouldn't let me go. Victor was pleading with me to find a way to make it. " Victor I wish I can but I can't make it, my parents wouldn't let me" I said with a sad face. " Anna just try I really want to see you there, you can sneak out in the night and re…" " Whatttt!! You can't be serious " I snapped in. " My parents will kill me if, I did such not only them but,Terry also" I said with a smirk. Victor tried and tried to persuade until I agreed. Damn, he wouldn't let me be, he was soo hardheaded like Terry in a way.

I got home wondering what will happen if things went wrong. Finally, it was night and I got my dress ready. I looked around the house to make sure everyone was at sleep. I sneaked out through the window, got a cab and went for the show. When I got to the show I called Victor, he came out he was looking good as usual. " omg you look amazing " he said. " don't flatter me Victor, I know I look like a mess I couldn't even put on makeup or something I know I look bad " I said scratching my hair. He smiled and dragged me to the venue. He handed me my tickets and we went inside the arena. It was all fun I saw my favorite musicians, I kept screaming . Victor was soo shocked, he hasn't seen me that happy before. We partied till 3:00am in the morning, I rushed back home and sneaked back in through the window.

I jumped on my bed and slept off, it was 6:40am when my alarm buzzed and I woke up. Gosh it was as if I just closed my eyes and opened it. I went downstairs to prepare breakfast and prepare for school. As, I was preparing breakfast dad held my hands and asked where I was last night.I was soo scared like how did he find out I wondered."Answer me Anna, where did you go last night?" He asked again getting a firm grip of me. "Dad I was studying I went to study"I answered with a shaking voice."You think I'm a baby?? Anna you can't deceive me, I know you don't like studying at night " he muttered. My God!! I was soo scared!!! he was looking at me directly in the eye. Thankfully, the phone started ringing and he let me go. I ran quickly to my room and was panting, I didn't want my dad to beat me just like he normally does to mom.I had my shower and wore my uniform,I didn't even eat breakfast because I didn't want to have another encounter with dad. I rushed doorstairs and ran outside quickly without looking back soo, I won't have an eye contact with dad.
