Cultivating

After listening to the system's explanation, Matthew closed his eyes and decided to start cultivating.

Matthew began to circulate the cultivation technique [BLOOD CULTIVATION] and began to feel its effects. Blood is one of the most important things that exist for a human. It is thanks to blood carrying nutrients to the cells that human life can be maintained.

What this method of cultivation did was to make the blood move faster and to filter the impurities, thus bringing only important nutrients to the cells. As a result, it would improve the body constitution and the stamina of the one who practiced it.

Matthew, since the moment he began to practice this technique, felt his blood improve gradually. It was a technique in which he formed the heart of one who practiced it, so that the blood that would circulate through the body would be the improved blood.

This method had to be carried out gradually. If the practitioner tried to force the acceleration of this technique, he would have high probabilities of dying due to the heart failing to bear the effect that was imposed on him.

But for Matthew's case, this world was evolving. It meant it would accelerate Matthew's cultivation without affecting cultivation technique, so that he would not die due to acceleration of the technique.

Matthew then continued to practice all night and stopped only when the first rays of sun began to rise. As soon as he finished cultivating, a notification screen came up in his vision.

Matthew was then happy with the speed at which the technique level and asked the system:

"System leveling speed of cultivation technique will always be this?"

* Ding * "Responding to the user, the practice speed of cultivation technique will continue and the speed will be increase, because the user's world remains evolving. But the leveling speed of the technique will decrease due to the fact that the higher the level of cultivation the more difficult it becomes to enhance the technique even more, though each advancement in the future will bring more benefits to the user than a leveling now."

Matthew then felt extremely refreshed when he stopped practicing the cultivation technique, he felt as if he had had the best rest of his life. Deciding that it was finally time to start the trip to Dallas, Matthew woke everyone up and said:

"Well, today will be a tiring day as we begin our trip to Dallas, I hope everyone has slept well, at least as well as possible in this new world. Let's have a breakfast and then we'll start our trip to Dallas."

The whole group nodded as they stretched and yawned to wake up. Then Thobias said:

"I think it would be a good idea to give everyone a few more hours of rest."

Matthew then looked at Thobias with a frightening look and Thobias laughed as he spoke:

"Trying does not cost anything."

The whole group laughed at Thobia's antics as Bethany and Julie took the backpack Matthew had prepared savory and sweet and made a delicious breakfast for everyone.

Bethany said:

"How lucky we are that Matthew got this type of food, I do not know when we will have the chance to try these foods again in the future and if we will have that chance."

Terry scratched his beard and said:

"I would not be able to live in a world that has no beers and sweets, is there some zombie wanting some delicious meat around here?"

The whole group laughed and Julie said:

"I'm sure he would vomit after devouring you."

They kept talking while they drank coffee and when they had finished Thobias said:

"Time to start the trip, I hope nothing will try to kill us this time."

Then Terry sat in the driver's seat and Matthew stood next to him in case any danger arose, Matthew then spoke to Bethany:

"Bethany stands in the back of the case to see if anything is behind us so we can react if anything happens."

Bethany gave Matthew a joke and went to sit in the back while Thobias and Julie accompanied her and the group began to talk.

Terry then called the bus and started out of the parking lot and Matthew spoke to him while stroking Little Black:

"On the way, we will stop at some market to get food and drinks, what we have now certainly will not last long."

Terry looked in the rearview mirror of the bus as he visualized the path and said:

"No problem, just be careful not to die or we'll be following you soon after."
