Chapter one :Departure

The disturbing sound of the helicopter increased as it  slowly landed. A man in a military uniform came down ,as the fan of the helicopter reduced from it's intensive rotation to a mild and calm one. The man's aura was the definition of both warmth and coldness, showing fierceness and boldness, with a breathtaking appearance, he was tall with muscular features, even though he was wearing a uniform that covered him from his neck to his toes, his appearance still looked muscular and husky with a broad chest, his lips slight pink and thin, nose pointed and firm, eyes bright as the night sky, with a touch of danger and bestiality.

Even though there was no smile on his face, he still looked breathtakingly handsome indeed.

"Daniel, you are here finally, how was your mission or jorney or whatever u said it was" David asked with pure concern. But as indifferent as he is always,Daniel just shrugged and walked past him like he didn't know him.

'huh...he's so narcissistic' David thought with a little frown. " You have stilk not changed huh.." David said with pure annoyance in his tone.

"Why would i change am perfect" Daniel replied proudly with his bands in his pocket, as he walked towards the black SUV, the men in black suit, who also came out of the helicopter followed him as he walked like a king In charge of the whole world.

"Hey, Daniel hold up" David said as he ran as fast as he could to catch up with him, when he finally caught up with him, he decided to ask the question that has been tormenting him to ask him, since the day he heard he was coming back to the States. "Um.. Daniel, don't you think you are old enough to get a girlfriend, I mean you are even to old ,do you wanna be single for life, come on there are lots of pretty and hot fishes in the sea just waiting for you to get them, what do you think" David stopped to see what exactly would be Daniel's next move, and sure enough he stopped and turned slowly, and replied with an indifferent voice,"How many times do I have to tell you,am not interested" he replied then immediately got into the car and told the driver to start the engine, David swang into the car as fast as he could, or he would have been left behind, In the car he watched as Daniel sat comfortably in deep thoughts, he murmured as he watched the tall buildings and malls through the window as they drove by.

BISTEL HIGH

The four girls watched the boys I the basket ball team, as they prepared to put on their jerseys for the game coming up, the cheerleaders waving and dancing in excitement the four girls some more, stood by the entrance of the changing room given to the boys I the basketball team screaming as the boys took off their shirts to put on their jerseys, some pretending to collapse, the four girls, Stephanie, Carolyn, Veronica and Anna, whispered to themselves on who was the hottest guy in the team, while other girls joined them in the vote, some picked the captain, Williams, while others picked Kelvin.

"No! it's none of them, look are they even as hot as David Steward or... Daniel Yates oh.... God girls think about it" Carolyn judged, blushing as she day dreamed of herself in a wedding dress, being carried by David Steward in bridal style. The girls retorted immediately " Yeah.. ,they are not, the brothers are the hottest"some girls believed that Daniel Yates was no handsome than David Steward , while some thought otherwise, "No... Daniel Yates is too pompous, and he isn't as friendly as his brother, David Steward" Because of this it became a huge fight, but fortunately the bell was rang and everyone dismissed from the entrance of the room to prepare for the game.

The four girls secured four sits on the second roll, in other to get a better view of the game, although they were not cheerleaders, they gave the best cheer for their friend Kelvin. In less than an hour the game was over, the students returned to their classrooms still marvelling at the wonderful game they just witnessed. Soon the bell rang again for lunch, Stephanie, Carolyn, Veronica and Anna, as usual were at the same table with Kelvin,theyy talked about the basketball game and laughed at the jokes Kelvin made. Stephanie on the other hand saw this as an opportunity to ask the question that had been bothering her since before the game began.

She hesitated a while but eventually she spoke out " If I may ask innocently, who the heck are the brothers, you girls were talking about, at the entrance of the dressing room.", they all looked at her like she had just said something funny, Carolyn was the first to burst out I laughter " Wait, wait... I don't understand, so what you are trying to say is that you don't know what they are, a whole celebrity like you, they are like the hottest brothers on the planet" Stephanie now understood why they compared the boys in the basketball team to them , " Well, that doesn't mean you can laugh at me" Stephanie replied pouting her lips pretending to be enraged.

THE YATES VILLA

The two men got down from the black SUV, and headed to the front door of the large villa, while the body guards in black suits, walked ahead to open the door, as their masters.

Daniella, Daniel's sister ran out to hug them both, but stops when she sees the huge frown on Daniel's face, by then she remembers her brothers disorder. "Daniel you are back I've missed you so.... much, did you miss me" She put on a bright and cute smile, waiting for what would be her brothers reply. "Why won't you miss me, I am the life of this house, I am sure you all have been awaiting my arrival back even the day I left" he said smiling, 'what why does he think so big of himself, even when his home, it's like he's not, hmm... so arrogant" Daniella thought.

"Alright I tried hm..." Daniella said angrily and ran back into the villa. "Master Yates welcome back, we have been expecting you, young master" Said Daniel's secretary Mr Bates with a bland smile, Daniel just nods and asks "How's the company been since I left", "it's been good!, the company has made a lot of profits, young master" Replied Mr Bates, Daniel nodded again. "He's always fond of nodding" Mr Bates said as soon as Daniel went into the villa.

THE SHOPPING MALL

The girls walked through the mall , just the four of them, picking out some designer bags, they had left the school immediately the school bell was rang as she was dragged out by Carolyn out of the school gate. As they were paying the bills, Stephanie suddenly heard her phone ringing, she reaches into her handbag to get her phone and sees it's her mom calling, she answers it quickly, "Hello, Mom I'll be back soon just wanna get something from the shopping mall, I'll be home soon ok!" she says apologetically.

" Um... no don't go home come to Mr Carter's house" Mrs Simon her mother and second manager, says on the other line.

" Um.. ok" Stephanie hangs up looking confused.

" Stephanie come on let's go, we've paid for everything" said Carolyn.

" Oh.. yeah coming"Stephanie replied as she tried to clear her mind from her thoughts.

" Why do u have that face" asked Veronica.

" hmm... nothing but I have to get somewhere asap!"

" what! where, we were supposed to spend the rest of the day all together, isn't it" Asked Carolyn pouting with a sad expression.

" I know but I have to go now, bye guys" She says smiling and hugs them, " Hope u guys can get a taxi back" asked Stephanie apologetically.

"Yeah we can, you can go now it might be important" Said Veronica with a beautiful smile on her face.

" Bye now guys!, love you" Stephanie says as she heads to the exit, then she waves at her friends before leaving.She got into a taxi heading to the Carter's mansion.

Mr Carter is a respected capitalist in Ohio and also a friend to her mom. He had tried tried to get her together with his son, Jimmy, but she seriously was tired of it and now she doesn't know why he wants to see her, or is this some kind of set up " oh no, hope he doesn't want me to get married to his son, that would be bad, I am not ready to get married, hope my mom didn't approve of it, huh...! am sure she will, she has been telling me that I should try to be friends with him, this is what she planned all along and I Know that Jimmy is part of this and his father is helping him, oh no what am going to do" her thoughts were interrupted by the driver, " Madam we are here"

" Oh yeah! thank you" she said as she comes down from the taxi and pays the taxi driver.

" Thank you" The driver takes his pay and reverses his cab and zoomed off.

Stephanie looked at the car till it leaves her sight, before turning to look at the luxurious mansion, she was about to get into, she took a deep breath before going through the gates.

CARTER MANSION

Stephanie's mom, Mr Carter,Mr Lorence and Mr Lucas were sorted on the sofa In different directions. Mr Lucas impatiently slams his palm on the arm rest, "This is taking forever, when will she arrive".

" Relax director, she'll be here soon" Mr Carter said ,"oh look she's here" he adds as he sees Stephanie coming in through the front door. "Um... am so sorry for keeping you all waiting" Stephanie said as she came in.

'wow she's such a beauty' thought Mr Lorence.

" Stephanie, this is Mr Lorence " Mr Carter said as he pointed to Mr Lorence's direction.

" He's the CEO and founder of Loren entertainment" Mr Carter adds

"Oh..Hi! Mr Lorence, am Stephanie, it's nice to meet you sir" said Stephanie politely.

"It's a pleasure to work with you,you are such a beauty, you'll make a good actress, our movie is to be shot in the states, so we need permission from your parents, and since your mother has agreed you will be leaving for the states tomorrow"Mr Lorence said with a serious but friendly tone

" Tomorrow! wow thank you so much sir for giving me this opportunity, I promise I won't ever let you down, Mr Lorence" Stephanie said excitedly.

" Mr Lorence am sure she'll be good for role, thanks for giving her this opportunity" Mr Carter said thankfully."Mm.. Stephanie you should go home to prepare your things, Jimmy will take you to the airport tomorrow,then you will stay in my house in the states, so it's all set"

" Thank you very much Mr Carter, I'll go now, bye!" Stephanie says as she heads for the door full of excitement.

"Thank you, Mr Carter,Mr Lorence and Mr Lucas, I'll be on my way now" Mrs Simon says as she stands up and heads for the door.

" Yes make sure she gets ready before 6:00pm in the morning" Mr Carter said before Mrs Simon walked out of the door.

Stephanie got home Fu of joy, she thought about all the wonderful things her and her friends had done I this town, now she was going to be a bright shining star, she smiled happy and began to get ready for her departure.
