Ji Yuan laughed as he ignored Anyang face-palming and his ego was bolstered by Xiang Li's praises. 

He said to Xiang Li, "You know, your big brother has always been a humble man but I don't want to disappoint you. Hahahaha…"

"Naturally my decisions are always the best!" Ji Yuan could not resist adding. 

Xiang Li nodded gleefully as she returned a happy wink, "That is right. Big Brother never disappoints me!"

Nothing pleases Xiang Li more than the praises from her big brother since it was rarely granted especially when Ji Yuan often disagreed with her by insisting that he was right, rather than she was right.

When Anyang saw their expressions, she could only mutter weakly. "That is only because Xiang Li is praising you…"

Then she looked at Xiang Li before muttering. "Why are you so happy for? That is because you're praising him and that is why he is agreeing with you. If you disagree with him, of course he won't praise you…"
