Meeting!

<p>In the command room of the giant carrier Adam and his 3 captains were talking about Alex's experience Adam suddenly said "call for a meeting with the captain of the trade fleet, Alex you go show him the way to the meeting as you are the most familiar" ordered Adam as the 3 that were chatting instantly got serious and said "yes admiral" as Adam heard this he then added "make the meeting tomorrow morning give him some rest" <br/><br/>For the rest of the day Stephen and his people were exploring the barracks as they came back to their residence, they looked satisfied as they were previously stuck on a ship for 20 years it was nice interacting with people again, Stephen was currently sitting in his couch watching some ultima tv shows which were beyond satisfying due to their professions as Stephen was getting comfortable on his couch a knock came to the door getting up to open it Stephen saw an 8ft tall ultima the ultima seeing him open the door quickly got to the chase and said "the admiral wishes to meet you tomorrow" said the ultimate as he quickly turns around as he can't wait to get back home and watch his favorite show, Stephen looked at the soldier eagerly leaving with a thoughtful expression 'the admiral wants to see me? Must be to know how we ended up here' thought Stephen as he got back into his house he wanted to get a good impression on the admiral so he took out his father's formal suit he used to make deals while traveling with the trade fleet thinking of his father Stephen got sad as throughout those 15 years before he passed his father thought him everything he knew giving him and Stephen a very close relationship than they already had as father and son, as Stephen was sad he continued to watch tv to hopefully wash his sorrows away thankfully it worked as his laughter could be heard throughout his house just like that the night passed and the morning started but no one could tell as they were in space luckily they had clocks <br/><br/>As Stephen opened his eyes to his alarm going off signifying it was morning Stephen quickly got up and went to get ready as today was an important day for them Stephen could already tell by interactions and tv shows that although they were incredibly xenophiles they are also extreme militarists that's all Stephen could make out as the united star ascendancy was, of course, an ascendancy that fuses all aspects of all government types meaning xenophile and militarist weren't the only ones they were just the most noticeable by Stephen as a result of interactions and seeing this massive fleet, as Stephen got ready for his meeting today a knock came to his door Stephen already guessed who it was as Stephen opened the door it was surprising it was Alex one of the fleet captains seeing Alex Stephen smiled and went for a handshake, Alex, on the other hand, looked at Stephens formal wear and good appearance and nodded as he knew the importance of first impressions Alex also smiled and shook his hand "are you ready?" asked Alex as in response Stephen nodded with a smile indicating he was ready, walking out of his residence while following Alex Stephen saw a lot of his people who looked at him in confusion so he gave them a vague answer of going to a meeting <br/><br/>Alex and Stephen have been walking for 30 minutes now in fact Alex could have gotten there in under a minute but he wanted to give Stephen a little tour so that if he is ever called for a meeting again he can go by himself as for Stephen these 30 minutes have been mystifying as the interior of the ship looked even more beautiful than the exterior as the ship was filled with artistic carvings of an uncountable number of species and races as they reached the end of the corridor they could see more and more ultimas with different uniform than the soldiers Stephen thinks they are the ship's crew as Alex and Stephen make it to some big door at the end of the corridor Alex says "get ready for the meeting" as Stephen hears this he subconsciously tenses up as he knows how important first impressions are, as the doors open Alex walks Stephen in what Stephen saw first was a portrait of a majestic golden ultima which he know who it was the portrait looked to be of the same race as the people on the ship then he saw rows on rows of computers and navigation equipment with thousands of ultimas working on them on the center of the command room was a little table capable of sitting 5 people there he saw 2 ultimas with similar bearings as alex and the 1 sitting in the middle giving of oppressive vibes Stephen quickly concluded the one in the middle was the admiral and the other two were captains, Adam at this moment was staring at Stephen and secretly nodded as he saw what he was thinking as it was time for the meeting Adam stood up and walked to Stephen and smiled said "it's nice to finally meet you captain I'm admiral Adam" said Adam while shaking Stephen hand Stephen also followed the formalities "it's also nice to finally meet the admiral I'm the captain of the trade ship, my people and I respect you for saving us" said Stephen with a smile Adam laughed and said "hahaha I'm just following my duties come to sit down" said Adam as he pointed at a seat opposite of them Adam sat back down alex went to sit next to jared seeing everyone sitting Stephen also sat down at his seat <br/><br/>"Stephen you should know why I called you here we would like to know how u ended up here" said Adam asking Stephen as Stephen heard him he just said "we were trading within the borders of our home civilization as we thought we were safe so when we were trading in the farthest system from the capital we were ambushed by pirates luckily my father knowing our civilization had less control in this system as it was too far away from the capital had us on full alert so we didn't lose anything on the ambush but in our escape that spanned 2 unexplored star systems and lasted 3 months we were almost had as the pirates were gaining on us luckily or not we found a wormhole in one of the unsurveyed systems without many options as the pirates were gaining at a fast speed we took a chance and went through the wormhole but as soon as we crossed we were left in the void for the next 50 years aimlessly drifting we went through a whole generation where I was born into until finally, a crazy energy surge happened we pinpointed it before it disappeared and went to it we took it as our salvation or our doom it was the only hope throughout the journey we lost 20 ships to space storms and the captain died of natural causes and I succeeded him as his heir and son" <br/></p>
