Chapter 15 Aaron Liu's Carelessness

After the most challenging journey of his life, Aaron Liu had just arrived in front of the skyscraper where JL Fashion was located.

He immediately entered the building to a meeting room, where Mrs. Jiang met with some of the company's top brass. Impatiently, Aaron Liu stood not far from the door of the room. He looked very nervous and anxious.

The drama of his accidentally oversleeping could have been disastrous for the man. It would not be very comfortable when dealing with someone who trusted him so much.

"Where is Mrs Jiang now?" Aaron Liu asked a woman working at the reception.

"Mrs Jiang is in the meeting room on the third floor," replied a woman working at the reception.

Without wasting any time, Aaron Liu rushed to the meeting room. He had to express his regret for waking up late. Plus, he had damaged the front body of his car.

Trials never seemed to disappear from Aaron Liu's life. Everything was complicated and challenging for him. Fate may have brought him to a low point in life. However, as much as possible, he did not want to give up on all the bad things that happened to him.

Not daring to follow Mrs. Jiang into the meeting room, Aaron Liu chose to wait outside. He sat on a chair not far away. After only a few minutes of sitting, the door to the room opened. Mrs. Jiang came out, followed by a woman behind her.

"Grandma!" called Aaron Liu as he approached the old woman, who seemed surprised by his sudden appearance.

"Aaron! Why don't you rest at home?" said the old woman who owned the most extensive and fastest-growing company, JL Fashion.

Mrs. Jiang went to her room, followed by Aaron Liu and the woman who had come out with him. It felt too awkward and uncomfortable for Aaron Liu to be so careless.

"I'm sorry, Grandma. Because I woke up too late, Grandma had to go to the office alone," Aaron Liu regretted to someone who had been so kind to help him.

"I know you're exhausted. There's no need to exaggerate, and I can go with a driver anyway." Mrs. Jiang wasn't upset or angry with Aaron Liu at all. She knew that the young man was exhausted after a long day.

"There's one more thing, Grandma. I accidentally hit the car in front of me and damaged it. If I have the money, I'll pay for it, Grandma." Aaron Liu explained with all the anxiety mixed with the fear that Mrs. Jiang would be angry with him.

Mrs. Jiang smiled wryly at that. She couldn't possibly be that mean to Aaron Liu. It wasn't a big deal if it was just the car that was damaged. It was just that the easy-going man was overreacting.

However, there were many things Mrs. Jiang couldn't understand. She still didn't understand why Aaron Liu could be so down—not even having a place to take shelter. Who exactly was that young man? The question kept echoing in her ears.

"It doesn't matter if the car is broken; the important thing is that you're okay. We should go home now, won't the furniture we ordered be delivered today?" Mrs. Jiang immediately got up and prepared to leave the company.

"Thank you again for your kindness to me." Her heartfelt words still transfixed Aaron Liu. He couldn't believe there was still a stranger who was so kind to him. "I'll take Grandma home now," he continued.

Without delay, Aaron Liu and Mrs.Jiang left immediately. They both wanted to do something before they stayed too long. Each division already managed all the work and operations. It was certainly enough to ease the work of the old lady who owned the most extensive fashion company.

It had only been a few minutes since the car drove to the Jiang Family residence when it suddenly started raining heavily. Aaron Liu tried to be more careful with the vehicle. It would be hazardous if he got a little careless.

"Be careful, Young Man!" chided Mrs. Jiang to the handsome man, her assistant and bodyguard.

"Yes, Grandma." Aaron Liu replied politely.

The car drove further and further through the heavy rain along the road. In a few minutes, they finally reached their destination.

Aaron grabbed an umbrella and got out to open the car door for Mrs. Jiang. He didn't want to get his mistress soaked because the rain was getting heavier with the wind.

"There's a car in front of the main door, Grandma. We can't stop there, and I'll get an umbrella first." Aaron Liu said after the car stopped under the downpour.

Not long after, Aaron Liu returned with only an umbrella. He couldn't find any other umbrellas.

"Is there only one umbrella? You'll get sick if it rain!" exclaimed Mrs. Jiang as Aaron let himself get caught in the rain to give her an umbrella.

"As long as Grandma doesn't get rained on, I'll be fine." Aaron Liu replied without breaking stride next to the owner of the luxurious mansion.

If only there weren't cars parked right in front of the main door, they wouldn't have to get soaked in the rain. Unfortunately, there were two cars parked there.

"Who parked here? Isn't this annoying?" complained Mrs. Jiang when she saw two strange-looking cars parked in front of the main door.
