Chapter 12: A terrifying sight

That night Shiro couldn't shake off that uneasy feeling he had.

Shiro: "Are you absolutely sure about this?"

Kageboshi: "I'm 100% sure. He's emitting some really powerful aura."

Shiro: "When you say 'powerful' how much do you mean?"

Kageboshi: "Even if I was at my best, I'm still not sure if I could beat him."

Right after hearing Kageboshis words shivers when down Shiros body.

Shiro: "Is this guy even my father?"

Akira: "Hey, Shiro. You look nervous. Is there something wrong?"

Shiro: "No nothing."

Akira: "Ok, then you won't mind telling me why your teacher called during work to tell me that you've been really distracted during class."

Shiro Thinking: "SH*T, I'VE BEEN SO DISTRACTED WITH EVERYTHING THAT'S GOING ON RIGHT NOW!"

Shiro: "Well I can explain."

Akira: "I won't scold you right now, but if one more call like that reaches my phone than you're in big trouble."

Shiro Thinking: "Uh, I really dodged a bullet there. Yeah, he's my father. Only he has such a calm and intense aura."

Kageboshi: "Shiro I can sense an intense amount of bloodlust from nearby. Be on your gu-"

Ai: "Dear son. Would you mind explaining to me what you're father just told us?"

Shiro Thinking: "F*ck I'm screwed."

After Shiro received a nice good beating from Ai everything else went smoothly.

Shiro: "F*ck my whole body hurts."

Kageboshi: "Well you deserved that."

Shiro: "Oh f*ck you."

Shiro: "I still can't shake off that bad feeling about my father."

Kageboshi: "One thing is for sure. He's not either a devil or demon host. His powers are all human."

Shiro: "That gives us some more reassurance, but how do we deal with this. Should we tell him about all this?"

Kageboshi: "That would surely work, but since he works at a normal office than this might mean that he wants to stay out of these matters. So telling him would only pointlessly drag him into all this."

Shiro: "You're right. Then should we start our training now."

Kageboshi: "I think that I can't teach you anything right now since our bond is so small, but don't worry, we can still work on your element."

Shiro: "Ok than let's do that."

Little did they know that not only Shiro was training to get stronger.

Kenzo: "Well the kid showed some really good potential today. He's worth training."

Nue: "You're right he can be really powerful. He might even get more powerful than you."

Kenzo: "I hope he does get stronger than me, because than when the day of my death comes I can stay calm that this world is on safe hands."

Nue: "Wouldn't you say the same for your captain? He's your best friend after all."

Kenzo: "I don't really care about him since he's on a whole different level from me. So he hardly has any chances of dying taking into account that he has a wife and kid to return to."

Nue: "I didn't know that."

Kenzo: "Now that I remember. I never met them. I don't even know where he lives."

Nue: "Wait! You two are best friends and you don't know where he lives."

Kenzo: "That's normal for best friends here in the human world."

Nue: "You humans are strange."

In that moment Kenzo sensed a mysterious energy coming from the alley nearby.

Kenzo: "What can this be?"

He quickly went to the source and found where this was coming from.

Kenzo: "So even during night you don't stop your slaughter."

In front of Kenzo was staying a devil host who was feeding on a human. Truly a terrifying sight, but Kenzo was used and didn't faze.

Devil: "What can I say? This sensation is really addicting, but when I remember I can get stronger than I don't care how many lives I take and when I take them."

Kenzo: "You're really a sick bastard, but let's get this over with."

Devi: "AHHAHAHAH"

Kenzo: "What's so funny?"

Devil: "Sorry, but it's funny that you think you can defeat me."

Kenzo: "Ou, we got a sick and cocky bastard here. Let's see how you back those words up."

The devil quickly rushes to attack Kenzo, but he was stunned to see that his arm was completely cut off.

Devil: "WHAT THE F*CK IS THIS!"

Kenzo: "What is the problem? Didn't you just make a huge show about your strength and now you're groveling at my feat."

Devil: "Sh*t I need to leave from here or I'm dead."

Kenzo: "Where do you think you're going?"

In a last ditch effort the devil created a smokescreen and managed to escape.

Kenzo: "Sh*t I need to find him quick. That n*tjob will kill many if left rouge."
