Chapter 6

After they have all gathered, they all move back to the village in hope of finding her but they were unable to find her, so left with no choice, they have to ask for information from the villagers and after experiencing what happened to their friend, the villagers didn't wait much time before they begin to tell them the path she has took.

"I think it is better we inform the commander about this" suggested one of the guards.

"No fool, we'll have to wait until we were able to locate where is hiding before informing the commander unless you want to get on his bad side" replied another guard.

And with that, they move out in search of the queen. Meanwhile, far away on the path they have taken which doesn't have any forest or rock one can use for cover whenever they were being attacked, Jason and queen Jeanie could be seen walking on the path hurriedly which seems to have tired Jason out as he could be seen breathing hard.

"I think we should take a break mother" he said while letting go of her hand.

"We don't have much time before reinforcement comes for us" replied queen Jeanie.

"But we are not being chased, so why don't we take a little time to rest before continuing" asked Jason almost in tears.

"That won't do Jason, since they already have a place to start their search from, it won't be long before more people come for us including commander Eric" replies queen Jeanie with a frown on her face when thinking about everything.

Since his mother is refusing to stop for a little rest, he could only bite his tongue in anger as he continued to run.

"A profound immortal like you should be strong enough to run for some days without getting tired so it is kind of surprising that you are already tired after running for hours" said queen Jeanie.

"That's because I haven't been able to have a good rest for some days now after the commotion at home unlike you mother, someone who stands at the peak of the celestial realm" replies Jason. 

Queen Jeanie went quiet for some time after she was reminded that her son is in a lower realm compared to her so it is possible for him to get tired unlike her.

"Sorry, Jason is just that with all this happening, I haven't been able to think things through. When we get to a place with a good hiding spot, we are going to stop so that you can have all the rest you want before continuing with our journey" she said after some time.

Hearing her mother's words, that was when something clicked as he had never thought of it and just followed his mother as they continued to run.

"By the mother, where are we heading to"?.

"To a place where we can hide from the rest of the higher heavens" she replied with a smile. 

"I kind of find it hard to believe that there is actually somewhere in this lower heaven where we can hide from commander Eric and the rest" said Jason doubtfully.

"Hahaha, that's where you are wrong sweetie, the lower heaven may be the worst place to cultivate but when it comes to hiding, it is the only place in the whole of the three heavens where someone can easily hide" reply queen Jeanie with a chuckle. 

He kept that in his head knowing full well that his mother is quite knowledgeable when it comes to things like this. But still, it has been two days that they have been running so he couldn't help but ask.

"How long is it going to take us to get to the destination"?.

"A day or two if we continue at this pace" she replied while her eyes were on the path ahead.

Meanwhile, along the way, the ten guards suddenly stop in their trap as one of them walks forward and begins to observe the ground for some time and seeing that he is taking forever, the bald man ran out of patience as he spoke up angrily.

"Why is it taking so long for you to track the direction they took"?.

"If you can just shut up and let me do my job you old wit" replied the guard as he replied to him angrily.

"You asking me to shut up when you are taking forever to track them down" said the bald man.

With the look of things, a fight is about to start between the two which didn't go unnoticed by the rest guard as they asked the bald man to shut his mouth and let the other do his job since he is the only one who is good in tracking among them. 

Since they had gotten the baldy to shut his mouth the other guard quickly went back to his job and it didn't take much time before he was able to track where they went which kind of surprised the others since their thought was that she must have followed the only path.

"If I'm not mistaken, that way should lead to nowhere" said the bald man. 

"Since she went that way, then we will also have to do the same before the commander arrives" replied one of the guards.

And with that, the guard followed the path that she had taken until it was remaining the bald man and the guard who was good at tracking.

"Just pray you are right about this else I'm going to take your life before the others could even notice" he said before leaving as well.

"Ha, we are both in the same realm and evenly matched but you keep saying the word that you are going to kill me, tell me already when will that day come" asked the guard in mockery of the bald man's threat.

The bald man decided to ignore him after catching sight of the other guards looking at him strangely.
