The Renevant

When he thought that everything was over, when he believed that it was finally the end of everything, it presented himself... Ender Rialto was known as one of the weakest Humanycs, a new race of humans, to ever exist, with the only manipulation of his own eyes, in contrast to all societies that could manipulate elements such as fire and water. He lived his entire life thinking of ways to get stronger, but one day he decided to end it all. It was that day, that an opportunity appeared. A chance to teach the world what his true values were, and how he was here to change the old rotten ones. He would show them all, what he was capable of. -------------------- Taking back this story, school stressed me out but I'm back for more, expect daily releases if I'm able to keep up with it.

The wind's sound... it's supposed to be relaxing. The sea, the waves... relaxing. The birds happily sang, dancing with each other... it's relaxing. Nature... is perfect.

Yet, he couldn't care less.

A teenage boy, wearing a torn T-Shirt with dirty shorts was standing on top of a cliff. His white hair flowed around with the wind making his lifeless eyes tear up a bit. Suddenly, his iris started changing.

First blue, then green, red, yellow... and he stopped when they turned brown.

He took a good look at the city in front of him as he sighed. It was the definition of a metropolis, it was Rook City.

The city had extremely tall skyscrapers, supersonic electromagnetic trains going and coming from the city, and large ships unloading packages. It was an island, a really big one. A place where all dreams could come true.

The more he thought about it, the more he teared up, "I just needed a chance... I wanted at least an opportunity... and I just got some fucking useless eyes ability!! It's not even an elemental manipulation!!" He shouted at the city. "I've never wanted this... I wanted to have a good life."

"Why did I end up this way!!"

He kept on mumbling hopes and dreams for some minutes before he stopped, "Haha, so pathetic." He looked down towards a small puddle and took a look at his reflection.

His eyes were swollen from crying, his throat gasping for air as he clutched in, blocking any oxygen intake. He chuckled before saying, "You are pathetic."

Ender. He was a Humanyc, born on 26th April of 2569, an era where elemental manipulations were everything.

Both of his parents were also Humanycs, which allowed them to perform supernatural feats. However, they had low-ranked manipulations, which made them average in terms of social status.

Because of simple addition, they both knew that their offspring would be a higher-ranked one, which meant that they could rank higher in status due to having a powerful child!

So they decided to have a baby. Surprisingly, they ended up having twins, a girl, and a boy. Stella and Ender respectively.

At first, the family was more than they could've ever asked for. They had two energetic children, always willing to learn more. From an early age, they began showing interest in manipulations.

Ender's parents looked forward to their element, thinking about how big could they brag to their friends about their children.

When they both turned 6, they had their manipulations checked.

They were as nervous as a lost dog inside a mall. The doctor injected a special liquid and gave them their very first spatial bracelet, which they would use for a long time, to check their element.

After some intense five minutes, the machine pinged once for Stella, and the next second another time for Ender.

Who possibly received the most pathetic and useless "manipulation" that Earth could've ever seen.

Manipulation of one's iris.

Not even an element. Things like these could happen, and a combination of two elements resulted in incredible results! But not like this.

Being as young as he was, Ender didn't care as was excited to have such a cool manipulation! He would be the coolest kid in the school!

He was already thinking about how he was going to change his eyes in front of his friends and make himself the most popular kid in the entire city!!

Sadly, when he got home and wanted to brag about it, his father slapped him as hard as he could, took him by the hair, and shouted,

"WE DID EVERYTHING FOR YOU, AND YOU REWARD US WITH THAT TRASH?"

Stella on the other hand received the exact opposite. She could manipulate gravity. It wasn't the best ability possible, but it was already a Legendary one.

Even the doctor had to re-check as it was very rare to receive a legendary element!

Adding one and one together, Ender's fathers gave all their love and care to her sister. She received the finest education both intellectually and elementally based.

This went on for years.

Years where his fathers would give him no attention, and if he complained for one second about food or any other necessity? Better not to explain it.

In school he spent his years alone, sad, and scared. People would point fingers and him and laugh all day about his stupid manipulation, and make the most brutal pranks one could think about.

Eventually, due to the stress that bullying caused, Ender's hair slowly turned white. And when he joined secondary school, he finally understood.

He was useless.

So useless that people that thought they had weak manipulations thanked the cosmic creatures or whatever they believed in for the element they received.

What truly broke him was his sister's change in behavior. One day she was the best sister he could ever ask for and the next day, she is pointing at you, mocking you.

"I wish my mother never gave birth to twins, she could have saved the money she spent on you." He can even feel the tears of that day.

But it wasn't like that before. Even after knowing their element they still played together and did the things they usually did. Stella even defended Ender from his parents while shouting at them.

He remembers one day they were playing outside. Stella fell down and made a scratch on his knee which his parents quickly noticed.

Instead of asking for explanations, his dad started slapping the shit out of Ender while yelling, "ONE USEFUL CHILD WE HAVE, AND YOU DARE TO TAKE HER AWAY FROM US?!" His face turned swollen and red after half an hour of slapping.

It wasn't even an incurable injury, it was a mere bruise. Yet they treated it as if Ender wanted to off Stella so that he could get all the attention.

He was useless and weak, therefore his opinion didn't matter. Of course, Stella confronted her parents about it, explaining everything, that Ender didn't push her or anything like that.

They just apologized to her and continued with their lives. From that day Ender wasn't allowed to play with Stella anymore though.

Time passed and Stella entered secondary school, that's when everything changed. The old Stella slowly vanished for the new one to appear.

The new one that bullied the brother she has so much fun with.

Sometimes he looked at the big tower outside the main city, on another island. He wished to join Black Blobs Federation. If you ever made it inside there, you had your life done.

But now? One can only dream.

When he got tired of his home and city, he would get a ticket to the forest outside and come to this exact cliff.

He would get to the highest point, even higher than the biggest skyscraper, just to feel that he was better than those there. Coming back to the city was always a hard slap on the cheek.

This day, however, was different. He woke up with a different look, he woke up with different feelings.

He woke up not caring about the world.

He didn't even think about school. He got up and went straight towards the forest. The moon shined brightly, as it was guiding him.

Ender looked towards it, already at the top of the cliff, and said,

"Look at me, I'm no coward... I'm not useless, or weak. I'm nothing of that... but I'm tired." He chuckled. He took a deep breath and shouted while looking at the moon.

"I'M FUCKING DONE! I'M DONE WITH ALL THE MOCKERY! I'M DONE WITH ALL THE INSULTS! I'M DONE WITH EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!!

FUCK, EVERY, SINGLE, ONE, OF, YOU!!!"

His voice turned hoarse as he wiped off his tears. He walked towards the edge of the cliff and looked down at the sea.

There were a lot of pointy rocks, and the waves were bashing toward the cliff. 'I'm going to get turned into a mold of flesh.'

He gulped audibly while lifting his foot and hovering it above the air. He closed his hands to fists and started balancing forward.

He could feel his heartbeats.

He felt as if his insides were voided of any contact.

He felt the cold sweat running down his forehead.

He felt that something grabbed him by the foot and threw him toward the sea.

'Huh?'

Ender didn't know what happened but quickly realized one thing, he was falling... and panicking.

"Aaaaaaaghhh!!!!"

Ender screamed at the top of his lungs, having changed his mind the moment he started flipping in the air. Due to the low amount of oxygen, he was receiving due to screaming, and the shock from falling, he fainted.

Eventually, he stopped flipping and was just falling with his back facing the ocean.

Lucky for him, he didn't notice the black slime that was slowly crawling from his foot. It had grey glowing veins and nothing more.

It started crawling and crawling and eventually entered Ender's mouth. To stop the fall, the slime threw a black slimy rope toward the cliff and swung towards a small opening the cliff had.

When they got close, the slime dropped the rope and forcefully fell towards the said opening, leaving Ender inside. It glowed an intense grey and red this time and made its way inside Ender through his open mouth.

The boy, on the other hand, was unconscious, oblivious to the change that was currently happening inside of him...
