Chapter 3: Meeting Lady Elianna

My footsteps continued, carrying me wherever to escape the gang.

"Where are you taking me?" inquired Edward, his mop of red streaked black hair flying everywhere, his round scarlet eyes staring right at me.

Hmm… Where were we going?

"Umm… "I trailed off, shyness sweeping over me. "I don't know?" I blinked innocently at him, feeling my cheeks burning with crimson splotches.

"hah…" Edward sighed, seeming intimidating even at his short height. "Come on."

This time it was me being dragged around by this short boy. As we cornered a dark alleyway, he abruptly stopped.

"Well?" Edward demanded, expectation burning in his huge, round scarlet eyes. "Are you not scared of me? Take a good long look at my eyes."

"So?"

"Exactly! So- Wait what?" Edward stuttered.

I grinned, I tilted my head to one side and rustled his shadowy hair. Hm… this boy needed to drink more milk; he could be my arm rest with that height of his.

"W-well I guess I can let you stay around me for a while." He sniffed pompously and jerked his face away, hiding his sparkling eyes.

"Well, my name is Grayson." I greeted, "A pleasure to be your acquaintance."

"Edward."

He was just like a little brother! Now, that I thought of it, wasn't he a love flag? It wouldn't be a surprise if he was.

"So, is this the pipsqueak being the supposed 'hero, huh?" Elianna laughed dryly, "Well, I suppose I do need to thank you for saving my defenceless brother over here. You wouldn't believe that he's older than me. I suppose he should have been a girl."

"Hmph!" Edward huffed. "That's because your strength is so extreme that you seem monstrous that you think my normal strength is weak."

"That's not what you are supposed to say to a lady." She retorted bitterly.

Edward smirked. Sibling Love never had been more contradicting.

"I see, your winning personality will get you anywhere I suppose." Elianna added sarcastically. "Sir Grayson, you can accompany me to the palace. I'll be meeting my fiancée."

Elianna looped her arm around mine and marched on.

"Wait for me Sir Grayson!" Edward exclaimed, trailing after me like an obedient puppy.

"At this rate you are going to be his sibling, not mine." Elianna sighed wryly. "Take care of him, okay? He's going to get lost forever if he keeps wandering off at this rate."

I nodded, smiling awkwardly, sitting in the spacious carriage, adorned with gold leaves.

"So… Sir Grayson? Can I call you Brother?" Edward chirped, not bothering with my answer, "Okay Brother, let's go to a cake shop after we drop off Eli!"

"Oh… we are at the palace now." Elianna murmured her eyes downcast and her face features hardening.

"Do you not like your fiancée, Elianna?" I queried, perplexed.

"Its not that I don't like him��� he is just a little cold towards me, I don't think he likes me at all." Elianna groaned, "I want to be on good terms, since, we are getting married together, but, he refuses to speak more than twenty words than me, and then, decides to flirt with the maids!"

Prince Adrien was like that? If I remembered clearly, he was charming and refined. Out of all the flags, he was the most popular and endearing. I suppose he acted like a different person with the heroine around.

"But he is beautiful at least! With his honey gold hair and cerulean eyes, I could stare at him forever!" Elianna laughed weakly, "Bye! Don't overfeed yourself Edward, I don't want to be the one to feed you medicine again!" She nagged sternly and swiftly departed with the carriage.

Edward groaned under his breath. I smirked wryly, Elianna did love Edward a lot after all.

Edward and I had been eating cake for a while now, and the sun began to set.

"Look at the time! It's 7:50pm now!" Edward whined. "Spend some time with me more later on Brother, kay?"

I guffawed, in some ways, Edward did remind me of my former sister.

"Alright." I answered, ruffling his raven hair and messing his hat's position on his head.

As we set off to depart, I checked the time, 7:59pm, it was a cheerful time and now, all I wanted to do was sleep. Suddenly, my vision blurred and I felt my body become lighter and collide into the ground. What was going on?!
