The next morning

It was none other than Mrs. Miller.

She was sitting down on a chair with a book in her hand, lost in thoughts.

After throwing those mean comments at Merry, her expression changed so drastically within few seconds. It didn't took her much time to have a weird look on her face as if she had it all. As if she was the winner regardless of everything that occurred the day before.

She wasn't sitting that far from where Henry was lying down. Someone could easily misinterpret the situation by looking at her peaceful facial expression. However, the truth was far from it.

But Merry knew there was a storm brewing inside her, and she didn't know how to deal with it.

Her mind probably was constantly racing, constantly playing the events of the previous night over and over again.
