Homecoming

Two more days passed, there was no news of Cole whatsoever. Merry eventually couldn't take it anymore and firmly decided to inquire Mrs. Miller about Cole.

Since the last time's incident, Merry hadn't seen Mrs. Miller. She basically didn't step outside the dorm, not even once since then.

One day, after the lessons had ended Katie even suggested Merry to go to the cafeteria with her. But Merry didn't feel like it.

All those times, when she was alone in the dorm with only the company of her art supplies, a thought crossed her mind many times.

She was constantly thinking about the motive behind Mrs. Miller's actions, trying to erase her memories. No matter how much she tried to think, she couldn't pinpoint on anything.

She believed that whatever it was, it was probably buried deep inside her own memories. It was all in her head, it was just that she couldn't call it to her mind at the moment.
