End of the first day

After Katie had finished doing the dishes, they were talking, sitting in the couch.

Katie had already yawned for about five times when Merry couldn't stand that Katie was trying to keep her company despite being so tired and sleepy.

So, she finally said,"I think you should go and rest now. Tomorrow, your lessons will start early. You need to replenish your energy, right? So, go and sleep tight."

"No, it's okay. I can go to sleep later."

"If you are trying to keep me company, then you don't have to, okay. I am fine."

"Fine then, you also go and rest," Katie said, getting up and walking towards her room.

"I am not that sleepy and also I took a nap in the afternoon."

Katie was just about to twist the doorknob to her room when she looked back to Merry and said," If you are waiting for Cole..ehm.. I mean them, then you will only exhaust yourself. I am sure they are fine and will return when the lessons end."

Without heeding Katie's suggestion, Merry kept waiting. She stayed in the living room the whole time.

It was around midnight when they finally returned.

"Oh god! I am so tired. I want to lie down immediately. See you in the morning guys."

Merry woke up when she heard Henry's words.

"You are still awake," Henry commented passing by her to go to his room.

Merry had just woken up and she was feeling groggy. Before she could answer him, he was already gone.

She rubbed her eyes and looked towards the door to see if Cole had also returned. There he was standing behind William.

"I will see you in the morning," William said patting Cole's back.

"Good night!" he said additionally, facing Merry.

William also went to his room retiring for the day.

Cole directly walked where she had been sitting and flopped down on the couch beside her. He let out a heavy sigh.

Merry had so much to share with Cole. But, she decided against it. He looked so tired.

'I will talk to him another time,' she thought.

"Was it very difficult?"

"Huh!"

"I mean the training sessions. Were they hard?"

"They were okay."

"You look worn out."

"Yes, a little tiring but it will get easier as the training goes on."

"Katie returned a while back. It looks like you guys have more lessons."

"Cole.." Merry called.

'NO ANSWER'

He had started to doze off. So, Merry shaked his hand and told him,"You should go to sleep."

Then, Merry got up to go to her room.

Cole opened his eyes a little and said, "Oh yeah, were you waiting for me?"

"No, I fell asleep here."

"Really, you don't have anything to say?"

"Yeah, but it's nothing big I will tell you later."

"Okay then, good night!" saying that he also stood up and went to his room.
