Cole's interest

"Everyone, your instructor will take it from here. So, follow them", the mean looking lady instructor told them.

Henry took a deep breath with a long sigh, making funny faces as he was the last to finish showering and was just about to sit down.

They had just gotten out of the shower and didn't even had rest for a bit. It was already time for another lesson.

As no one would be together for other schedules of the day, Cole followed the lady instructor while Henry, William and Katie followed their own instructors.

The lady instructor brought Cole to a room which looked like a classroom.

It looked similar to a typical classroom but, instead of just desks and chairs, there were many computers as well.

"You remember, you had written your interest in learning computers in the form", the instructor said, telling Cole to take a seat Infront of one of the computers.

"Take it as it's your chance to learn it."

The first time Cole had seen a computer or rather got to know it, was not too long ago.

Few months back, the doctor was checking his heart rate, blood pressure, temperature, vision acuity and other physical exams.

After the exam, the doctor would immediately take notes on a machine that Cole didn't know about.

"What does that thing do?", Cole asked the doctor.

There had been so many instances, when he had asked something to someone and was just told to shut up.

He feared at first that this time will also be the same. But, as he really wanted to know about that machine, he asked the doctor anyway.

At first, the doctor was a little surprised as he hadn't expected that question out of possibly anything happening there.

Then proceeded to answer, "Oh, it's a device for storing and processing data according to instructions given."

"Basically, it makes people life easy", the doctor said with a chuckle.

"What do you need to do, to operate it?", Cole asked again, showing great interest.

"It looks like you have really taken liking to computers. It isn't a big hassle, you can just learn it."

These simple words of the doctor had stuck to his mind. It was fascinating and when he was given a choice to learn it. He wanted to do it.

It was one of the very few moments, where he had felt happy in that place.

"Someone will be here in a minute, who will be responsible to teach you computers", the lady instructor spoke but, Cole heard one third of what the lady said as he was completely zoned out for a moment.

"I will not be here but I will be constantly monitoring you through the cameras present here, so do your job well to behave and learn", the lady sort of warned Cole.

It hadn't been more than a minute since the lady left, a man entered the classroom.

Merry was anxious because of that disturbing dream. She even tried to make out different situations, that could give meaning to the dream.

But, whenever she remembered the gruesome bloody scene from the dream, she felt like throwing up.

At last, she felt exhausted. Without any answers, she decided to quit thinking about it.

'Maybe I will talk to Cole about it, who knows he could give some insight', Merry thought to herself.
