Chapter 22: Is football your mate?

The real Betis players filed into the field and we're surprised to see Manchester united players already on the pitch and set for the match to begin while looking wild. They even tried to make a joke, "come on guys, it's just a friendly no need to go crazy".

The match got restarted by Manchester united and they went right at real Betis in an organised manner using short passes to send Real Betis players back to their home while getting themselves closer and closer to the opponents third.

The players were following the plan to the tee and that resulted in their being no key chance until the 58th minutes when Iqbal switched the ball from the left to the right, Wan bissaka got the ball and passed to Sancho who immediately used a Marseille turn to beat Real Betis left full back before moving into the box with the ball, he made a fake move and then made an inverse cross into the path of Iqbal who passed the ball into the net.

After that the boss decided to sub out all players on the field leaving only Iqbal on the field with the formation changing to something akin to a 4-3-1-2 formation with Shoretire playing behind Elanga and Charlie McNeil.

With the change in personnel, the players were no longer able to control the game and decided to play a counter attacking football, trying to use fluid and fast cooperation to tear up the defences of the Real Betis players on the field.

The game went on to the 65th minute and due to a mistake in the receiving of Charlie Savage, Nabil Fekir got the ball made a one two with Borja Iglesias and decided to go straight, the spin on the ball was superb going straight to the top corner of the post but Tom Heaton made a superb level save to keep the ball out.

The game went into a calm stage after that with both teams being cautious of conceding but all changed in the 73rd minute when after man United got the ball deep, Tyler Fredicson passed to savage who passed to Kobie Mainoo who immediately started a counter attack, he went pass two Real Betis players before passing to iqbal who used a swift turn to go past another defender and then returned the ball to Mainoo who dribbled pass the last defender before hitting a rocket of a shot past bravo and giving Man United the lead for the first time in the game.

After the game restarted, the Real Betis team did not spare any effort at trying to equalize the game but that did not help since 3 minutes later after man United won the ball back, Savage passed to Iqbal who immediately went long to the path of Elanga who after getting the ball stepped on the accelerator and beat any to be marker and faced the keeper in a one on one chance, he tried to go cheeky by lobbing the keeper but he unfortunately went over the post.

Real Betis players kept on launching attacks after attacks to no avail while Manchester United occasionally tried to hit back on the counter attack, the game went in In a back and forth manner until the 85th minute which by this time there were few Manchester United players who started still on the pitch, a free kick on the edge of the box was awarded to Real Betis.

Nabil Fekir was on the ball after some talks with his teammates and decided to go alone. he went for a curl around the wall that went to a dead corner of the post. Equalizing goal so late in the match 3-3.

The manchester united youngsters on the pitch were in shock not believing we could have conceded at that time. They decided to go crazy and tried to win the game.
